Courtney, I have three fragrances that are more budget friendly (not cheep but over looked) and I have never had any complaints. These three each last 4-6 hours on skin, 8-10 hours on cloths, and takes 10-20 minutes for the true scent to set in after application. 1) Couch Blue: By far the most effective of the three as well as the softest and near impossible to over-spay. It has that Je Ne Sais Quoi quality. 2) CK Shock: Definitely a warm weather fragrance best suited for walking down the street, morning coffee, and happy hour. 3) American Crew Classic: The one I use when I'm my most sigma male mood, that classic Don Draper smell that isn't trying to impress anyone. It's everything Old Spice advertises itself to be but never lives up to, I use this after a really long day at work and I need a little pick me up before going out and being social. I would love to hear you opinion on these and thank you for all your videos.

On your recommendation here I recently bought the Maison Margiela's Jazz Club and I must thank you for it. It really is the masculine scent I've been looking for for quite some time. It's very, very nice indeed, very high quality.
From your fragrance videos, I have used Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male (for everyday Spring and Summer or just when it is warm out for Pittsburgh), Viktor and Rolf Spicebomb (for everyday Fall or Winter or when it is cold), and Baccarat Rouge 540 (for special occasions like big dance events or anywhere that I would really like to attract a nice girl). I have received compliments on all of these scents from women that I have met. I can't thank you enough for the recommendations, Courtney! I am hoping one of these will be the lure of that Miss Right some day soon.
This is great... I've been making my own soap (cause I'm a weirdo with too much time on my hands) and now I'm going to try to make something that mimics rossa black (or one of the other fragrances) naturally. Thanks Courtney
I’ve been wearing YSL La Nuit Del Homme a lot lately, the fall and winter climate is usually the best time to wear this fragrance. The dry down is fantastic. This past summer I wore JPG Le Male a lot, so light and inoffensive, excellent fragrance 😊
The one that I have which seems to get me the most compliments including from my gf, is Mancera Red Tobacco. This one is smoky and sweet as well to help tone down the smokiness a bit, and my God is it great. red tobacco is dangerous...in both good and bad ways. It's gonna get a lot of compliments, but it's also going to get so many people that hate it and think it's disgusting. I'd actually recommend avoiding Oud/tobacco types of vanilla scents and instead go with a much nicer and simpler vanilla scent. There's plenty of lovely vanilla scents out there if you really want something with tobacco there's always Jazz club that's basically in this list anyway so no need to add red tobacco if you got jazz club in this list
Personally I like it the red tobacco as it has shisha flavor scent but the opening is very harsh and can be headache inducing to others and not many would appreciate it however it’s the dry down that’s great! I suggest spray it atleast 30 mins in advance if you’re meeting someone by the time it hits the dry down and limit your sprays
I'm a big fan of Sedar/Sandalwood with a hint of tobacco smelling scents. When me and my ex broke up last year she took all of my cologne and rode of with my bottle Yellowstone Ride. Those little 3oz bottles aren't cheap

I've never worn cologne in my life but I wear Old Spice deodorant. Women must be at least okay with Old Spice because the stuff's still selling. I like it because it evokes the first couple years I shopped for Christmas gifts for my family as a boy. I bought Old Spice and Drakkar Noir cologne for my father, who has never worn cologne is his life, either, I don't believe. The bottles sat in the upstairs hall closet my entire childhood; Dad never wore them but I would occasionally open the bottles and smell them. They remained there until my sister cleaned out the house after my mother died.

Yea yea yea... ice cream flavour that women want you to have, Food and edibles that women want you to have... The mobile phone that women want you to have... what car do women want you to drive....
Totally agree with your list, the CH prive I've never smelled,I'm not sure you can find that anymore etc?but yes all the mentioned frangrances you can't go wrong with, thanks,Tulsa, Oklahoma here.
Some reccomendations from me coming in here too at a decent price. Gucci - Guilty for men Paco Rabbane - Invictus or One Million Dior - Sauvage (everyone im sure has had this at some point) Carolina Hererra - 212 for Men Diesel - BAD or Only the Brave (2 great aftershaves and both are relatively cheap ciompared to other frangrances)
I came across a fragrance a few months ago called Ikon 910 EDP. Good price, great smell & not overpowering. I had a woman come up to me when I was out with friends just to tell me how great I smelled. Dior Sauvage EDP gets a lot of compliments too. A budget friendly way to get a collection quickly is to buy a few 10ml sample sized EDPs of your favourite scents from eBay. If it doesn’t come in a spray, get a 10ml atomiser (from eBay too) to decant it into & you can get over a hundred sprays from just one bottle. You can build a small collection for the price of one full sized EDP bottle. It’s a great way to test fragrances also. Just don’t put on too much. A little goes along way.
I have 10 fragrances I wear. My wife and I disagree on which in my collection is #1 (she says Tom Ford Ombre Leather, I say Layton), but we agree on #2, that being D&G The One EDP. It's one of four fragrances I label as forever fragrances for me. I own and enjoy La Nuit de L'homme as well, but also have (and prefer) La Nuit de L'homme Bleu Electrique.
All these recommendations are great! Personally, I use the Santal and Cologne Grand Luxe from Fragonard, they are not very expensive at all and they both smell great. Although I will say if you don't like sandalwood then don't get them and the Grand Luxe does start out kind of strong but give it a little bit and it mellows out nicely.
Xeryus Rouge by Givenchy is my #1 complemented fragrance. When women smell it on me, they always say I smell so good. It is hard to find, I'm not sure if they still make it. Released in 1995, Xeryus Rouge for Men is a sharp, oriental, woody fragrance. It has top notes of bergamot, fougere and lemon, middle notes of amber, melon and orange and base notes of kumquat, pimento and cedar.
I would appreciate a spring/summer cologne recommendations. I normally stick to citrus and ocean type scents but all my fav fragrances are heavier ones more suited for fall/winter.
Nice video! Glad to see you're not afraid to recommend an older fragrance! I'm a lot older than you, and open to new things--want to know a lot more about oud frag's--but my favorite fragrance is still Dior Higher Energy from the mid 90's. I also agree that many older fragrances stay popular for a reason, mainly that they smell really great! Keep up the good work!
As an older guy (50+) and I like to wear Versace Dylan Blue. I feel like it is a clean subtle scent. I used to wear Armani Sport as my go to but find Blue more age appropriate. I will need to try some of the ones you recommended.
This videos great honestly. I was trying to find a different perspective of what colognes smell good and I’m glad 2 of my routine colognes get the stamp of approval I’ll keep them. Maybe the dolce does have something special cuz whenever I wear it my class crush sits next to me. I’m glad to know dolce actually smells good and it’s not one of those smells that only the buyer likes.
My most complimented fragrance by ladies and men is Armaf club de nuit intense limited edition edp. Though all my fragrances are labeled as "compliment beasts " nothing gets close to CDNI! I always get stopped and asked by strangers what I'm wearing, and the compliments are unhinged. "You smell amazing! What is that?" Is the sort of reaction I get from the ladies (whom are complete strangers). My personal favorites though are Silver mountain water from Creed. My wife calls it "sex in a bottle ". And D&G the one edp, which My wife also adores because I was wearing it on the first time we met in person.
I recently got into wearing a fragrance. I purchased some Fahrenheit Parfum after doing some research. I like the fact that it's not over powering. Great video I do appreciate getting a woman prospective on colognes.
I'm not into fragrances. Call me generic, but my go to has always been CK One, mainly because I like the scent and also because my wife likes it on me. I'm more of a citrusy kind of guy and don't like scents that smell too musky. That's just my preference.
There is no woman appealing fragances ranking without the Acqua Di Gio line and all its flankers! I own the Profumo and Profondo and both of them are a compliment magnet, absolutely everyone love them
It has been a while, since either you or Teddy have the done a fragrance video, welcome back. Most of the fragrances are indeed popular now, but the one that I have been wearing recently that is a conpliment getter is Tom Ford's Beau de Jour...extremely classy scent and great when dressed up.
Nice selection Courtney, there were some I didn't know, I suggest you try the traditional Azzaro. It´s my favorite, classic winter perfume and it´s not very popular. Greetings from Argentina 😊
great vid courtney! i believe the luna rossa black is discontinued? i went to check this out at macys and it looks like its no longer carried? i went with the PLR carbon instead! picking out my first "nice" cologne was difficult. smelled about 6-8 at the store. was not easy. i figured PLR carbon was safe and i really enjoy it. thoughts on gucci guilty? these fragrance vids are great, please do more at the introductory level for us guys just starting to learn. the $100-$150 level is a nice starting point. would like to grab another one for the summer, so need your help!
Currently I'm using "D'amaris Solea" awesome thing. But I also have several different STR8 and a bottle of La Rive. So far Ive received positive vibes from the ladies.
gotta be honest, I have no clue about the fragrance you mentioned at 2:40, then again I rarely wear cologne. I do enjoy the smell of the scnet of Leather and Brandy mens lotion from Bath and Body though. Maybe I'll give one a try if I come across it while shopping sometime.
Yes, I would like to see a video on niche fragrances. My three main date fragrances are: Hanae Mori for men, Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir, and John Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider.
I definitely dig the Prada Black, great blind buy if you don't have it, something you'll definitely be glad to have, also have the Polo Red that I havent touched in years but maybe worth a shot to try out again...Aqua Di Gio, Bleu De Chanel, and Chanel Homme Sport should be on there as well...
I would change le male to le male le parfum as it’s the modern version and from ysl La nuit de l’homme to bleu electrique version as it performs better! The rest are amazing! Haven’t tried polo red yet!
Hi Courtney, your videos have helped me a lot to improve my dating game. Your recommendation on Prada Black was spot on, but even better is Prada Ocean a new fragrance…everyone that smells it really likes it. Keep up your good work!
Probably the cologne I get the most compliments from women is the a D&G I got from the early 2000s. Sadly it only has fumes left in the bottle and it's long gone from the market and will never find anther one line it. My daily now is Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, but I think I like it more than women do as I haven't had much compliments from it.
Great video Courtney! I have been trying to find fragrances to use. Can in the next fragrances video you put the fragrance recommendations in the description box. Thank you for the information.
The Luna Rossa Black is legit. I bought it based on your recommendation. When I first smelled it in the store I wasn't sure, but bought anyway. Now I love it so much I wear it daily.
Being newly single again after 25 years I decided to start wearing cologne again. Christmas 2021 I bought a cologne sampler 'kit' from Macy's that had 20 samples in it. The only one I recognize that you showed was the Polo Red but I didn't memorize them. I divided them into groups of 5. Of the first 5, one is the standout winner in the drawing positive attention category. "Vince Camuto-Terra Extreme". I wouldn't have picked it as my favorite but it seems to be conducive to positive attention from women (the only reason I would wear cologne), in my target age group, 50+. The last time I wore it a woman 'started' a conversation with me in grocery store. Can't remember the last time that happened. Funny thing is, none of them said, 'oh, what is the name of your cologne'. But it seems to generate the grinny, nervous shuffly, giggly, wide open glassy eyed look from them I remember from days gone by. I give Yves Saint Laurent honorable mention, I like that one also, but the Terra the easy winner in results. Remember guys, a little goes a long way..."discovered, not announced"
I kind of feel like polo red is underappreciated. I've worn on dates before and was told it smells really good. It was my first cologne to my collection, and only got it because it was this one girls favorite.
Hi Courtney, could you please tell us which exact fragance of Abercrombie and Fitch fierce are you presenting? There are many of them under the same name of brand (spicy, wood, sharp, citrus) which one is?
Maison Margiela jazz club. Thanks lady. I was curious and bought. It's fantastic. Now if only I'd go out bars or dates even. But at least I smell nice. That's nice. That's nice.
Yes Yes I used to use Polo years ago. But I've stopped using it you know the last few years. But I guess I should start back using it thank you so much
Abercrombie nd fitch that one is a good one it doesn’t last a lot of the time which is the problem but I remember when I was a kid my dad would wear it and tbh it smells super good and it’s a good price it’s around 70 or 80
Hoping you get a chance to respond to this Courtney, but I was curious about getting a very quality woman's opinion on the potentially competing or complimenting fragrances between the body and hair. For example, I use a beard butter with fragrance when going out, and I'll even use some pomade for my hair if the occasion is fitting (e.g.: having on-screen time during a broadcast). I think for me, the struggle trying to learn what fragrances work well together, because they don't always match or compliment well enough. Personally, my favorite beard butter is scented with tobacco and vanilla notes, so immediately to me, it fits the Maison Margiela Jazz Club fragrance. Do you suggest men to keep their respective fragrance on the same note, or can they be a little more contrasting? I'll admit my sense of fragrance is something I want to improve, and I don't know if my fragrances end up clashing, so any feedback is very much appreciated!
I would recommend 2 fragrances for men who just want one or 2 fragrances in their lives: Missoni Wave for hot weather Montblanc Individuel for cooler weather The reason I recommend these 2 is that they have a muted sweetness, they are fresh, they are long-lasting, they go very well dressed-up as well as dressed down and they are budget friendly if you shop from discounters
@@natantitelbaum6061 no.. Individuel has a fresh-sweet raspberry opening with some green touches and dries down to a fresh vanilla with a creamy sandalwood, while Wave is a creamy white floral with mute sweetness and a touch of citrus
I have absolutely no clue about a half the terms the OP was talking about, but that makes it more interesting. What I do know that scent and application depends on individual body chemistry which is something most of us Jimmy Lunchboxes will at be at Sea with.

I just have two fragrances I use. Both presents so I havent really considered whether they are "good". Guess I have to look into getting some of these and see if it gets a response
Their favorite scent is: Lè Money 💰
YESS, I love these videos, need more things like these, not just fragrances. books that women want you to read, activities that women love you do, etc etc.
Need all these info
Yea yea yea... ice cream flavour that women want you to have,
Food and edibles that women want you to have...
The mobile phone that women want you to have...
what car do women want you to drive....
go for pdm percival instead of fitch and fierce, totally worth it
Luna rossa black is my fav. It’s smells very much like vanilla.
It’s very interesting girls always say the smell with vanilla is the best
Whew I'm happy my two main fragrances were actually on this list! Polo Red and D&G The One.
Totally agree with your list, the CH prive I've never smelled,I'm not sure you can find that anymore etc?but yes all the mentioned frangrances you can't go wrong with, thanks,Tulsa, Oklahoma here.
Some reccomendations from me coming in here too at a decent price.
Gucci - Guilty for men
Paco Rabbane - Invictus or One Million
Dior - Sauvage (everyone im sure has had this at some point)
Carolina Hererra - 212 for Men
Diesel - BAD or Only the Brave (2 great aftershaves and both are relatively cheap ciompared to other frangrances)
I’ve always gotten compliments for Burberry Touch, D&G The One and Hermes 24
I love my ysl la nuit de l'homme especially in the Chicago winter months
Only compliments I've received have been for Club de Nuit Intense Man and PdM Layton Exclusif.
I have Intense Man EDT, I think I’m going to get that one too. I hear it’s more like the pineapple smell of Creed Aventus.
On the way.

i really need this.. to updates my overall!!
I recently got into wearing a fragrance. I purchased some Fahrenheit Parfum after doing some research. I like the fact that it's not over powering. Great video I do appreciate getting a woman prospective on colognes.
Should you pick one fragrance and stick with it or switch them day by day, mood by mood?
I'm not into fragrances. Call me generic, but my go to has always been CK One, mainly because I like the scent and also because my wife likes it on me. I'm more of a citrusy kind of guy and don't like scents that smell too musky. That's just my preference.
There is no woman appealing fragances ranking without the Acqua Di Gio line and all its flankers! I own the Profumo and Profondo and both of them are a compliment magnet, absolutely everyone love them
Can you please make a summer fragrances list?🇵🇭
There are different ones?
It has been a while, since either you or Teddy have the done a fragrance video, welcome back. Most of the fragrances are indeed popular now, but the one that I have been wearing recently that is a conpliment getter is Tom Ford's Beau de Jour...extremely classy scent and great when dressed up.
What would you classify each of these fragrances under? Which season or everyday?
Thank you for being there to help all of us. You are appreciated Courtney 🙏🏽
Nice selection Courtney, there were some I didn't know, I suggest you try the traditional Azzaro. It´s my favorite, classic winter perfume and it´s not very popular. Greetings from Argentina 😊
I have Azzaro: Wanted by Night. Absolute masterpiece from Azzaro and super affordable 🔥🔥
YSL Tuxedo is my compliment getter:)
Literally bought Prada Luna Rosa Black last week because you suggested it in another video and now I’m married with two kids!
Woohoo!
great vid courtney! i believe the luna rossa black is discontinued? i went to check this out at macys and it looks like its no longer carried? i went with the PLR carbon instead! picking out my first "nice" cologne was difficult. smelled about 6-8 at the store. was not easy. i figured PLR carbon was safe and i really enjoy it. thoughts on gucci guilty? these fragrance vids are great, please do more at the introductory level for us guys just starting to learn. the $100-$150 level is a nice starting point. would like to grab another one for the summer, so need your help!
Currently I'm using "D'amaris Solea" awesome thing. But I also have several different STR8 and a bottle of La Rive. So far Ive received positive vibes from the ladies.
Chanel Allure Sport extreme gets me the most compliments, second compliment getter is Armani -Stonger with u intensly
Luna Rossa is my go to.. You are 100% correct.
gotta be honest, I have no clue about the fragrance you mentioned at 2:40, then again I rarely wear cologne.
Wow, the only one from the list I have is the “One” , which I no longer wear.. need to check out your others.. thanks
Definitely need to find a cologue/fragrance that fits me personally. Those are some nice choices.
I have a lot of fragrances but ended up ordering Polo Red. Went for 125ml and ended up getting an additional 40ml for free, thanks Courtney!
My favorite is journey for men please get that fragrant and review same
Hello Courtney are you doing an giveaway?
Pretty new to the hobby, but after doing some research, my first 3 buys were Jazz Club, The One EDP and Bleu de Chanel EDP
All 3 of those are killers! Try the new valentino coral intense too!
I like Versace Eros because the ambroxan, I love all the fragrances with ambroxan.
I agree with you, Ocean is the best Prada along with Prada l'homme intense, wich also works great on dating.
Courtney were can I buy the second cologne what's the cost
Probably the cologne I get the most compliments from women is the a D&G I got from the early 2000s. Sadly it only has fumes left in the bottle and it's long gone from the market and will never find anther one line it.
My daily now is Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, but I think I like it more than women do as I haven't had much compliments from it.
I have only bought one bottle of colonge and that was in high school, used it for a few years and that was it. Just using deodorant has been enough.
I'm getting prada luna rossa black. Just ordered it!
Cologne is a worthwhile thing to collect. There are different styles for each season etc
You were right about Fierce, thank you
Being newly single again after 25 years I decided to start wearing cologne again.
Discovered... not announced. I like that.
@@seth4321 I can't take credit. I heard it from Courtney.
@@x-man5056 Ah, I must have missed it in the video
@@seth4321 Not this one.
@@x-man5056 Gotcha
I kind of feel like polo red is underappreciated. I've worn on dates before and was told it smells really good. It was my first cologne to my collection, and only got it because it was this one girls favorite.
I wear jimmy chew man and aome vercace stuff. And women cant get enough.
Hi Courtney, could you please tell us which exact fragance of Abercrombie and Fitch fierce are you presenting? There are many of them under the same name of brand (spicy, wood, sharp, citrus) which one is?
Been using Versace Eros for some time now and have def gotten compliments on it
Maison Margiela jazz club. Thanks lady. I was curious and bought. It's fantastic. Now if only I'd go out bars or dates even. But at least I smell nice. That's nice. That's nice.
Yes
Yes I used to use Polo years ago. But I've stopped using it you know the last few years. But I guess I should start back using it thank you so much
Abercrombie nd fitch that one is a good one it doesn’t last a lot of the time which is the problem but I remember when I was a kid my dad would wear it and tbh it smells super good and it’s a good price it’s around 70 or 80
I would love to hear what you think of the Pete & Pedro fragrances.
I would recommend 2 fragrances for men who just want one or 2 fragrances in their lives:
Missoni Wave for hot weather
Montblanc Individuel for cooler weather
The reason I recommend these 2 is that they have a muted sweetness, they are fresh, they are long-lasting, they go very well dressed-up as well as dressed down and they are budget friendly if you shop from discounters
Do they sting the nose like salt does when sniffed?
@@natantitelbaum6061 no.. Individuel has a fresh-sweet raspberry opening with some green touches and dries down to a fresh vanilla with a creamy sandalwood, while Wave is a creamy white floral with mute sweetness and a touch of citrus
Which one would you recommend if you are going on a college spring break trip?
I have absolutely no clue about a half the terms the OP was talking about, but that makes it more interesting. What I do know that scent and application depends on individual body chemistry which is something most of us Jimmy Lunchboxes will at be at Sea with.
