i love my drill brushes. not sure if you have but pair your drill brushes with a dewalt 12v plenty of power dual speed clutch and way smaller than the 18 or 20v. way less fatigue on the hands at the end of the day. love the videos man.
I bought an inexpensive set of white brushes from Amazon. I paired my brush with a Milwaukee Impact wrench on medium speed and the exact thing happened.
I have the Ryobi brushes in the black blue and green and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. They have a green one that's got the toilet cleaner sorta shape as well which I find nice and works for times when I wanna get somewhere tight. The black one is super super stiff though and not something you'd ever use inside of a car for sure. Also of note, now that I think about it I have had a black one break away from the plastic housing, but it was the shaft that broke and I fixed it up just fine with some epoxy. I do think it being that stiff is the reason that one broke as compared to the others which I don't think are stiff enough to actually grab and cause the amount of torque necessary to break away
Used it for the first time last weekend definitely worth buying if you're a person who likes detailing your own car recommend first time to use on lowest setting 800 so you don't burn paint don't leave in one spot keep moving it over paint easy to use ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfzbDkCRyv3CFXnLZI4APZtRRuG2uRmP2 truck looks like new again used maguires black light battery life like all milwaukee products seem to hold up well 😀
I was at Costco and found the "Bissell Little Green ProHeat" for $99 I ended up buying it BUT I would love to see a comparison of this unit vs that hart one and the industry standard Bissell spot clean Pro. To me I believe any extractor will work it's all about prep would loved to be proven wrong. P.S. keep up the great vids super helpful for keeping costs down and keeping standards high.
I recently got my drill brushes and I love them. I've only used them for cleaning my car floor mats. Has anyone experienced the drill battery dying pretty quickly when cleaning floor mats? I'm using an 18v DeWalt drill, and cleaning 6 mats. I take care of my drill and I also used a fully charged battery.
Appreciate the time it takes to make the video. I can't help but wonder. Why not section that carpet carefully into 3 spaces. Trying to get even dirt on each, do your work with each brush. Even use the extraction so that.. in the end, we see the finished product and all that changed was the brush.. nothing else? That might have been a more definitive result. Anyway... thanks. I'll probably buy that brush you have. The money and the quality seem pretty good.
the nobs in the way for an accurate measurement. yeah the nob is the nob that doesn't realize he can flip it over and there wouldnt be a nob in the way. Pretty sure its the brush width thats measured anyways. so flipping it over would of been right anyways.
I've got a off-brand set of them it came with 3 or 4 I think but I haven't even used them in my truck yet cause I forgot I had them and I don't have an extractor yet. But I think I'll test them out tomorrow
Josh I've seen in some of your videos you clean leather seats with the drill brush are you using the same brush or softer? Any tips or tricks for that?
Good vid Josh. I find it easier when using a tool in that application to add a 90% attachment to the drill better stability less dril run off. Harbor Frieght carries a couple different versions and Milwaukee makes one too.
I had to think about this for a bit and realized you probably meant 90°. Good idea! My DeWalt 5-in1 12v Xtreme has one. A hammer drill should also have a built-in handle which would be great for this.
Wow, yeah they should last a lot longer than that. Eventually the bristles start to lay down but even then they still work. I’ve been using mine daily for months
@IMJOSHV - Car Detailing and Reconditioning Tips the bit burned through the plastic, and it won't turn. The bristles are fine. It's just plastic quality. It's very bad
Has anyone who ever used these brushes ever happen to damage the car using it? My son started detailing cars and o purchased him a big set of drill brushes and it comes with the wax pads too.. He said he don’t want to use it cause it going to “damage” the car like “paint chips off” “scratches”…: Thanks!
I understand this video for the purpose of showing agitation but there’s no point of doing a video like this without the extraction because you’re still leaving dirt spread around the carpet
Just do a search on "Superclean Dilution Chart" and you will pull up the SuperClean company's page with their recommendations for dilutions for different purposes. Their recommendation is 1:3, although I use 1:4 routinely for a lot of my general purpose cleaning with SuperClean. It obviously depends on the tasks and degree/amount/kind of dirt YOU run into. SuperClean straight has become my favorite degreaser for all sorts of REALLY heavy duty jobs, and I buy SuperClean by the gallon any more, it's just too handy. My wife discovered it and I had to get her her own spray bottles otherwise I was always chasing them around the house when I wanted to do any of my own detailing and cleaning.
You need a wet dry vac to pull all the dirt out after hitting it with the drill brush..they work very well.
Trust me i know what 3.5 inches looks like in my hand, and i could tell that Ryobi was about 3.5 inches well before you measured it.
Sus
😂😂😂
LMAOO
😂😂😂
Well, aren't you spe-shulllll.
Pressure washer and wet dry vacuum after a drill brush 🤘🏼 waaaay better than a microfiber rag
I think if you reverse the rotation it will last the brush longer and wont look compressed and going one way.
i love my drill brushes. not sure if you have but pair your drill brushes with a dewalt 12v plenty of power dual speed clutch and way smaller than the 18 or 20v. way less fatigue on the hands at the end of the day. love the videos man.
Bought a set of brushes , 4 min into light scrubbing the shaft separated from the brush , I used a small Milwaukee drill .
Which brand of brushes was it?

when you hold that mat up the top is the cleanest for sure

Get a battery with more amps
Your metaphors and similes go over my head 😅
What type of carpet mix you use? That works great please😊❤
You keep popping up in my car research vids. All of them have been great, very informative! Just sub'd. Keep it up man 👍🍻
He don't care about ur comment
My question is which Chemical Spray did u Use on the carpet? TIA
Can you review the Milwaukee polisher? I’m looking into getting one but would like to see your review and opinion on it.
Hey what’s up what’s the proper way of playing your car I’m searching for a video but can’t find one👍👍👍
I love drill brushes so much. But I often worry about pulling threads etc with them. Good video as always!
I use the Ryobi battery brush. I use the blue brush on the interior, it's very soft.
Love using the drill brush, great video.
What speed should you set your drill at when using this product? slow, med, fast?
Can you show us the leather brush you would use?
Which one would be good for cleaning the bathtub and the bath tiles
Appreciate the time it takes to make the video.

Great video and demonstration.
I’m a huge fan of drill brushes also
Really great comparison Josh, thanks 👍😁
what is the setting you use on the cordless drill when using these brushes in this video?
Great video. I have the same ones and the middle part of mine is very bunched up and stuck together. I think it's time for a new one!
Thank you for all the great videos it helps me out a lot ! Have a A blessed day !!
Will the RYOBI drill brush attachment work on any drill?
Which drill brush is the best for detailing?
The longest battery drill brush?
Which Dewalt drill are you using?
great review as usual! Mahalo.

I need a light and medium one is there a kit out there with both ???
Can you please do a video on how to set up a pressure washer hose reel and what is needed to be purchased
I would have liked to have seen the extractor used to clean that poor floor mat.
I've got a off-brand set of them it came with 3 or 4 I think but I haven't even used them in my truck yet cause I forgot I had them and I don't have an extractor yet. But I think I'll test them out tomorrow
What settings should the drill be on when using it with a brush for carpets?
What soap do you use for interior cleans
Josh I've seen in some of your videos you clean leather seats with the drill brush are you using the same brush or softer? Any tips or tricks for that?
Just watched your video. Need to buy a new drill . The one I have is old. Want to use it for the same purpose. What Dewalt drill do you recommend.
Can you use these with impact drills?
What do you use for Alcantara? Since it is so delicate
I use polestar and detail brush,
Hey op.
What drill are you using.
I’m in the market for a new drill. Not sure if I should get cordless or corded.
What chemical did you use on the floor mats
Hi Josh, After reapplying emblems using the 3M attachment tape, how long should I wait till I wash the vehicle???
I have a 2017 civic I bought and the Sun visor me as well as head liner where they touched the visor is filthy. What type of chemicals do I use?
love all your videos ty. can you make a vid about what is better impact drill or drill
For cleatwith these brushes? You absolutely do not need an impact driver to clean upholstery with these brushes. Any modern cordless drill is fine.
Go to HonesrCarpenter yt channel. Impact driver is for driving screws into wood. Does not apply to this channel at all.
Why kind of impact are you using for the attachment?
I use a pressure washer ,till the water is clean.easier, before it hit it with the drill brush, and cleaning solution.
Can it be used with an impact?????
Where did you get that rack where you have your sprays on ?
Can I use this to clean home carpet in a condo?
are drill brushes universal sized?
Which pressure washer is the best for GPM?
Good vid Josh. I find it easier when using a tool in that application to add a 90% attachment to the drill better stability less dril run off. Harbor Frieght carries a couple different versions and Milwaukee makes one too.
I had to think about this for a bit and realized you probably meant 90°. Good idea! My DeWalt 5-in1 12v Xtreme has one. A hammer drill should also have a built-in handle which would be great for this.
Put it in reverse?
Have you ever tried Folex👍
Keep up the great videos Josh. I really enjoy them. Just ordered an Uberflex pressure washer hose and QD attachments because of your other video.
Can you use a drill brush on door panels or should you stick to the detailing brushes?
A very soft detail sponge like Scrub ninja would be best for that.
My Dewalt 20V cordless kept overheating with the constant load.
what are the different color brushes for ? again can you make a video about the colors. i want to buy them all. ive bought alot so far . thank you
You just need a soft one, medium one, and maybe a hard one for floor mats.
Damn it Josh, just ordered some brushes yesterday. 😑
Very nice!👍
What is the actual Drill that you use though ?
I’ve used a drill brush kit at my local Autozone. And 1 brush lasted me 1 seat. I was extremely disappointed.
@@Johnsal517same thing happened to me with a set from Walmart

Thanks!
What is the recommended drill volt for using these brush?
12v is plenty
Have you ever used these brushes on tires?
Don't mean to be a smart ass but if you turn the tape measure on edge you can measure at the middle, yes I'm a carpenter 😁
you should us an extractor
Drill brush is the one with the drill and brush on the box, most everything else is a knockoff
I always feel like i'm going to wear out the carpet using this.
Why are u wiping the mat with the towel? Shop vac that shit😂
👍👍👍
Honestly it would make more sense to put a heavy soap on it then use a carpet cleaner to suck up the dirty water 😏
I understand this video for the purpose of showing agitation but there’s no point of doing a video like this without the extraction because you’re still leaving dirt spread around the carpet
I just power wash it
Or pressure wash as step 2
So wipe it right back dirty😄
15 min of bullshit before the 5 min of actual substance. Thank you for the last 5 min of this video!
You used the wrong Ryobi brush man, come on wtf!?
Which one is the right one
X̌

To much talking
Don' waste your money
Wouldnt a hand brush do just as good
