I'm currently working on setting up two bujos, one for self care, the other for projects (home, crafting, etc.) The last several videos of yours have been so unbelievably helpful 😊 I appreciate them immensely
My start of the journal pages are 1. Emergency medical information 2. a little explanation what epilepsy and the kind of seizures I have. Both of those are on different paper stuck in with washi tape so I can transfer them to my next bujo. 3. 2 page spread future log 4. birthdays and anniversaries. 5. Goals.
Two things: Your notebook collection is almost obscene 😂 And so is your washi tape stack! Now, seriously, I usually have a specific order for my layouts as well and It involves a detailed process. Currently, and because bringing A&O Notebooks to Argentina costs an arm and a leg, I was forced to squeeze each month in just a few Pages. It's working but I miss my regular, beautifully decorated B5 layouts. Saludos 🇦🇷
Thank you so much for the these. I found the last journal and this one so helpful. I made a mind map of all the pages I’d like to include in my setups and then I used a field note journal and post it notes to figure out the order, plus give me layout ideas. Now I feel more confident setting a journal.
Before I start my new journal I make a list of all the layouts I would like to use. I then go through that list and discard the ones I wouldn't really use. Then I sequence those layouts 3 times in a notebook I have from school. I do something similar before monthly layouts if there are any special spreads I want to include like a vacation log or gift getting list or a month savings tracker.
Sounds like a good system! 💜 I start by figuring out a list of pages too 😄 We talked more about my considerations in this video ruclips.net/video/_5rSyfUvqcA/видео.html 💪
As someone who has been using a BuJo on and off for about 7 years, the start of a new notebook still both excites and scares me. Even though in my gut I know the best order that makes sense for me, I will always appreciate videos like this to confirm my feelings 😊 For my personal journals I have learnt that, depending on the number of pages, I need to leave extra space for more future logs. A Leuchtturm Journal typically lasts me about 1.5 years but sometimes I take breaks from using the BuJo because my ADHD brain wants to try something new and when I start using the system again I want to continue in my old BuJo. But since having those future log pages in the beginning is an absolute priority, I can't use my old BuJo if the future log has no space left to extend it. That said, If I don't end up needing the extra space for more future logs, I usually always end up finding a few new spreads that would fit there perfectly anyway and if the blank pages do start to bother me, I usually just tape them shut with a little bit of washi. 😁
It’s interesting to me how I mostly have the notebook’s leading pages sorted, but I struggle applying a similar principle for the monthly layouts, still my 1st year at doing it from scratch (I miss my EC & HP). The leading pages I’m not sure about I put in the back & have a separate book for mum’s health stuff.
Making use of the back of the notebook is a great way to separate information 👏 I also sometimes use the back for important information because it’s also easier to access 😄💜

I’m so glad they’ve been useful for you! 😄💜

Great to have that info up front for easy access, and I love a good transferable collection 💪🥳
@@JashiiCorrin work smarter, not harder. 🙃

Glad my collections are only ✨almost✨ obscene, I was worried they were getting out of hand 😝

Oh that’s awesome! 😄💜 Glad it was useful 💪
I usually do my page order planning with sticky notes. Not as pretty, but it works.
Totally works 💪 that’s how I do mine for monthly planning 😄💜

Sounds like a good system you have 😄 Love that you've identified what works for you and how to accommodate that 💪💜
Team Instinct!!! 🎉💛
Haha that works too 💪💜
