I am a long time customer of Lost Creek. Matt and Jason are awesome to work with. They helped me build my shop on a budget. Thanks Mr. Pete for doing this video.

Well I made a real mess out of myself watching this one Mr Pete.. crying, drooling, rubbernecking..
had to punch the address in on the GPS to. Looks like a 3-1/2 hour drive from my house. That’s certainly doable !
Surface grinder, tool cutter grinder, dividing head parts, milling machine tooling all stuff I desperately need/want just sitting there waiting for me ! Yes Mr Pete, really truly enjoyed watching this one. Couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. So neat. And I’m humbled by the fact that they are saving all this great tooling and equipment from the scrapers! I’ll be checking in with lost creek machine before my next purchase for sure. And I’ll be sure to tell them Mr Pete sent me.
    Thank you sir 🙏

The item you asked if anyone knew what it was with the triangle shape stones? A vibratory de-burring machine. Affectionately known, where I used to work, as a “gravel girty ”. We had them all over the shop. Great tour. Amazing how everything is so well organized.

I enjoyed this infomercial. I'm grateful to both Lost Creek Machine and you, Lyle for this work. Part of me reflects that we are looking at a past that is vanishing. Oh, don't get me wrong, there will always be machinists, but they'll be working on additive equipment instead of subtracting. Ah ... at least there will be less swarf. Thank Lyle. But if you go to another estate auction and buy more crap, I swear I'll get to Streator and make you return ALL of it!

That was fun! DARN! I wish that I lived near such a place. NH is a waste land for such stuff. The last place like it went belly up about 1-1/2 years ago. They were tossing Bridgeports and other stuff into the dumpsters. I would have grabbed one but we had no way to move it or store it. It was a bad time for us and only marginally better now. Thank you for sharing with us sir!

When you buy a mill or lathe from them how much do they go over it & make sure it works or doesnt need repairs or parts replaced? Do they come with any sort of guarantee that its working or will work for 3 months, 6 months or what do you get? Are they given any sort of tune up? That place looks like heaven. Love this video & appreciate what you do on RUclips.

When I lived up in NJ 25 years ago, there were 2 similar places I used to hit at least twice a year. One was much larger and up near Newark, the other was in south Jersey, kind of close to Philly. Don't remember the names. I'm pretty sure the one in south Jersey is gone. 20 years ago I moved to Georgia, up in the mountains and to my sorrow I haven't been able to find anything like this anywhere. The difference? PLENTY of manufacturing in NJ back in the day, not much in Georgia.
