One of the biggest advantages he has over 90% of Hunters is “information”. Not down playing his results - congrats to him for his experience & network of Hunters but like most things in life, once you’re decent at something - success is 90% of who you know.
I love watching this guy bc he shares alot of deeper insights about what he’s doing.

Hi, Jeremy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, and intuition with us once again. As I've said before here, your honester, openness, and generosity are what set you apart from other RUclips deer hunters. Speaking of which, I would NEVER ask you for specifics on where you were hunting in a particular video, but would you be willing to tell us just what state you were in? If not, that's okay; keep up the great work. Chris (in Maine)

  • @Snake_theJake

Great deer! I'll echo several other comments that it would be nice to know what state you're hunting, because yall really promote the idea of going out of state to hunt. Some of us might be interested in doing it too. Looking forward to the next video to hear your ideas about keeping good public spots secret, though. Thanks.

Tip. Using a boat or walking or whatever. If your going in a place in the day and coming out at night then turn the tracker on Onx on and save a path. Where you went in the boat you can follow that path back out pretty close in the dark. On public if your walking in the daylight I always make paths with the tracker on the roads and trails so that when im coming out or if I kill a deer I know where the roads are so I can easily get out.

It’s crazy because not so long ago. Crossbows were 150, 160, 175 pound. And a good crossbow would go 310 fps. Nowadays they are 200 plus pound and 400 fps. I grew up on Horton legend’s, Summits, Explorers. My crossbow now is a Barnett whitetail hunter 2. It’s 150 pound and goes about 275 fps. Not fast at all. They need to put a cap on crossbows. As far as FPS. They have advanced so much in the last 10 years it’s crazy.
