@@team_ribswell thanks for that
I have the answer to the 2nd and 3rd questions. The 2nd question can be answered because in real life, there are real jetpacks that are used in the same way, and it's possible they wanted the show to be realistic in some way and use a real jetpack instead of special effects. The 3rd question is that the black tube is for oxygen, and if you look closely, the black tube actually wasn't cut, but instead, something else close to it was. I'm not sure if what was cut is visible or not, but it seemed to be covered by the Power Armor. Anyway, I hope this information finds you well.
@@SageOfSpirits I was still kinda expecting them to use the fallout 4 jetpack
I wish theyed use 4s jet pack with the ones attached to the arms To be more in the universe and show the Bos are putting there tech to use @@SageOfSpirits
Walton Goggins is so good
I watched the show 3 times already, love it
I love when he clearly mentions in a later episode thane wore the armor (during g the war) and knew the factory defect in the welding on the chest plate. Then proceeds to shoot an AP round into the weak welding.
Gotta love Marines. ❤
So waltons revolver is a 12 gauge that uses slugs, first I thought it was a .410 but after a close look it’s definitely a revolving 12g shotgun
Man was shooting a primitive bolter.
it shoots gyro-jets
Dudes got the bloody mess perk too
@@ieatscousers6443 It's gyrojet but it is really the Russian 12 gauge revolver shotgun, the MTS255. A modder actually added it into F04.
.410? A .410 isn’t shooting holes into people like that lol it looks more like it’s almost a miniature grenade launcher the way the rounds look and the sound it makes when he fires it.
The ghoul fought the commies in those so he knows all the weak spots and he has 200+ years of combat experience.
Spent the entire series unable to look away from this man's nose or lack there of.
He just looks like Red Skull. 😂
It's a ghoul what'd you expect
Not only does he work with the enclave, so he has probably seen the more recent X-01 and MK2 models but he was also in the old world military the dude probably wore the T-60’s when they first came out…
I'm glad they showed this. In the original fallout series, you needed special training. However, with Fallout 4, they just dropped it. I'm glad they showed it now on here the importance of training
Im so curious why he doesn’t shoot the weak spot he knew about in this fight. Was he playing with him? Did he forget cuz it’d been a while since he saw any power armor? I need an explanation
Considering he took the time to have a full convo? Just playing
Didn't want to totally burn bridges with the brotherhood by killing one of their new 'knights' maybe? perhaps sympathy since the BOS is like a military and he's a vet?
It's called bad writing.
It's explained by his words. Basic training is not what is used to be , you drive it like a shopping cart. He realised it's not a threat. He even tells him to read the manual so he would know how to use the armour. Cooper has been in the military and drove earlier models and has high perception
"Well I guess basic training ain't what it use to be." The Ghoul probably doesn't see the operator of the suit as much of a threat and has probably dealt with enough BOS to recognize a rookie pilot.
Literally Fallout 4 player vs. Fallout New Vegas player.😂
im both so i guess im fuckin frank horrigan
Oh can that bs
I'm imagining more Fallout 1 and 2 fans vs the rest of the fans, especially with that "Rule number one...read the manual!"
Yes, Absolutely
@@RyuKaguya Remember the oil rig? Me too. Good times.
Am I the only one a little disappointed he doesn't have a gravely voice?
There's been other ghouls shown to not have f**ked voices. Like Mort in Fallout 76. And Fallout 76 is canon so don't give me that "Fallout 76 doesn't count" bull crap.
i would have been too if it wasn't walton goggins's voice. Fkn love that dude.
This is basically just every part of the nutshell, three types of player, pacifist, power armor, and veteran, and we all know what veterans will kick their asses
They did a badass job on that show.. nailed it
I fucking love fallout ! I am so excited to watch this! I literally have a tattoo of vault boy and the brotherhood of steel!
This isnt fallout, series has went downhill since 4 and is no longer what it used to be. Just to please the lgbtq and masses for maximum profit
@@unclesteve2974 if it triggers you so much then just don’t watch it.
It's rlly good unlike rings of power and the halo show.
@@SHMUGIog I know halo was like both good and bad. I just hope they keep somewhat lore in it
@@TheDeaconGamez i didnt watch it because its trash
Is that the new fallout season
Yes
@@colbymeeks8626 thank u
Ghoul could’ve killed him but he never decided to, probably as he didnt seem a threat lmao
Should throw some Pepper at the No Nose Cowboy... He'd be Sneezing for hours!!
“ id tell you to come up here and get me but its hard climbing us stairs when your wearing a 12 piece cast iron skillet set “
For real it’s crazy what a single shot pistol can do when setup right, even against power armor in pvp😂👌👍
I like that line
"You drive that thing like a fucking shopping cart"
And this
"Rule #1: Read the Manual"
Having seen the whole thing, this scene makes so much more sense
And this is why you don't fight someone who is 10 in one of their SPECIAL's.
"Well, I guess basic training ain't what it used to be. You drive that thing like a fucking shopping cart!"
I just finished watching it and let me say……… OUTSTANDING they did a amazing job at blending all the fallout history into it and correctly and it also answered a lot of long time questions and speculations I’m not even going to lie I nerded out hardcore on this tv show
Maximus is the epitome of all my starter characters. Got power armor at level 1, but I didn’t earn it.
I just rewatched that episode for the 5th time last night😂
Dude served alongside Nate Sombra so of course he's going to know how power armor works.
This hatted ghoul dude really brings the Cad Bane vibe here...
Everyone complaining “Why didn’t he just kill him” do you not see his frustration when he flies off of his make-shift grapple? He was trying to salvage the armor.
Great show! Very well directed and all that other stuff that goes into it.
Love this guy already can’t wait to see how he dose in season 2
Level 4 Vault Dweler straight out of the vault in Fallout 4, taking the power armor early VS Level 50 NCR Ranger Courier.
Love when he later asks "did they ever fix the flaw in the armor" one shot kills it "nope guess not" 😂
Walton Goggins is a absolute star!
I wonder how ghoul joints hold up, because he absolutely carries this show on his back.
I hate how later the ghoul is like I know power armpit secret weakness
The delivery on "You drive that thing like a fuckin' shopping cart" is just 🤌🤌🤌
Nice to see Cooper having a good time. His life probably half of the time is crap
I completely about fallout for a sec and thought this an alternate universe with red skull being a cowboy lmao
Walter Goggins at his best
Anybody else CATCH the "SHADOW" of the HOVER Turbines under the power armour flight scene❓ the producers said it was actually a hover rider that was green screened under the CGI power suit
You just know there’s gonna be a fight again between these two in season 2 or even 3 - when Maximus probably has the correct training on how to use the Power Armour and his character development reaches peak.
Gotta wonder why the Ghoul didn't instakill Maximus by taking advantage of the welding flaw like he did with the knights in the last episode.
I think he didn’t want to , maybe he saw this guy was a rookie ?
@@laerte5983
Someone mentioned on another comment section that the Ghoul was holding an armor-piercing round during his confrontation with the Brotherhood. So even knowing about the welding flaw, you'd need specific ammo to take advantage of it.
The Ghoul may have used up his armor-piercing ammo during the commotion with the villagers earlier before he squared off with Maximus. 🤷
He knows everything about that armor. Maximus was not expecting to encounter veteran that used the armor before.
The game rag doll physics were on point lol
"Rule #1: read the manuel". I love this line like training to him doesnt even matter anymore
Ahh must be the glitch where the jetpack is invisible.
Bro I love the Ghoul so much! He’s already my favorite character! Especially cause of his backstory! So sad 😢
I'm new to fallout but imagine being a powersuit build and running into this guy
I’m 100% certain they will just make Cooper never lose his cool and just cruise along any plot challenges he will ever face.
Fun fact: in some shots of the Ghoul you can still see he’s wearing his cowboy shirt that he had on when the nukes went off
Being named Maximus and seeing my name pop up after "Gladiator" and tangled wild 😂
Maximus really didn't get the Power Armor Training Perk
He's amazing.
