It's time Joey. Get yourself a rode wireless go 2 mic set. You will thank yourself AND get awesome audio from pretty much everything!
I need help with the audio for sure lol
Lol I was gonna say, that volume change from the intro music to him speaking was pretty drastic
It’s all fun and games til the 4banger starts spooling like a diesel!!
Monicaaaaa! I laughed out loud
I dont know how you kept a straight face that whole time. I can't help but cheese everytime I hear my turbo scream at me. Been cheesing for years. lol
All the props for going so far with it!!
I wish I could do an STi trans swap on mine 😢
Thanks for watching! You can do the swap! Took me a few days but it’s doable in the garage. Plan ahead and have all the parts and tools ready before you take it apart
My dream car to buy 🙏
Great vid car sounds punchy , I see the red line has been raised somewhat.
Sheesh the car sounds amazing. I love the STI transmission whine. Wish there was some way to achieve some of that without a full transmission swap. Are you using a wireless Carplay adapter or is your phone just hidden?
If you do a solid trans mount I’m sure that would make you hear the trans gear whine. Yes I’m using a wireless CarPlay adapter
Dccd on a vb WHAT! Sti trans ? Car sounds amazing btw!
400s on 93? We should line it up vs me on Ethanol
Time for some big brakes
I agree. Need some brakes for sure!
Do you have the wastegate recirculated or vent to atmosphere? I couldn’t hear it
The only option is internal wastegate. This car has an electronic wastegate
When would you say it's at full spool and how much boost are you running. Also is it too your liking
Full boost is like 4100 rpm. I love it. When the boost hits it hits way harder than the stock turbo and pulls very hard to redline. Knowing that the turbo is capable of 900 hp there is a lot of room to grow with the kit. Next thing will be to pull the engine if I want more power
@@JoeyMontaltowould you consider pulling the engine? If so, what would you slap in there?
So. I have a 6466 on my 2018 WRX and factory brakes and my factory pads got 5k miles after the tune. You honestly might want to think of a BBK.
Yea I need to do something with the brakes soon. Not sure if I want a bbk because then it would be harder to fit a smaller wheel bigger tire. I might fully upgrade the stockers. Fluid, lines, pads, rotors. How’s the 6466 feel? I had a 5862 on my 2015 wrx.
@@JoeyMontaltounder 3k I feel like a Honda civic. Around 3.5k the cars spunky and above 4k it's an uncontrollable missile. Cars on Ohlins with the car sitting about 1inch lower, -1 camber, cr57s and azenis 265/35/18s. 4 wheel spin doesn't exist anymore like when it was on 255s, that was scary.
BTW the builders are hiding the fact the ARP head bolts for the fa20 100% fit the FA24. Whenever you feel like pulling the engine to clean out the oil pickup, you can slap head studs in her. Neither my VA and VB is my daily anymore so, if your VB is also a project fun car I would highly recommend.
Also forgot to mention when pulling the VB engine. The VB is different because the damn ECU location, youll stair at it for a bit before figuring out what to remove vs the older cars. The damn ECU and wiring made it a little more time consuming.
How much boost?? Thing sounds like a monster!
She’s running 20 psi! Turbo spool sounds crazy now. Thanks for watching!
@@JoeyMontalto I couldn’t imagine the sound. I just got mine back from ETS intake, charge pipe tmic, and a DMann pro tune and the turbo sounds are wild! Keep up the great content!
How do you have sti dif modes under the shifter?
I hooked up the dccd controller with the STi trans swap. Check out the STi trans swap playlist for the iwire dccd install video
Do you have upgraded fuel pumps
All stock fuel system
Check Engine light P0420
How did you solve that problem?
This makes me want to make some serious financial decisions
How do you have full screen android auto? Or is that an Iphone?
iPhone
What is your current injector duty cycle?
How much HP are you pushing.
Not sure as I haven’t been on the dyno. Based off other shops with this kit it’s around 430ish?
What camera set up are you using?
This was filmed on a GoPro
Please get a mic or something it's super hard to hear you.
Hey thanks for the feedback. I did hear this a lot so going forward on all my new videos I am using the new rode wireless go II mic setup. I’m always looking for feedback back and appreciate it. Thank you.
Umm how did you get your map to take up the whole screen?
If its the in car Navigation screen, then there is a symbol that shows to expand the window on the upper left screen.
Apple car play is full screen
Don’t use android crap

At some point you may put in a nuclear reactor 😊
I you have street tuned or dyno
Street tuned. Haven’t been on the dyno yet
@@JoeyMontaltodyno tunes are nice and then fine tune on the street is ideal. Glad to see the progress. It's kind of weird to watch your car because my daily VB is very similar but I have a Rotora kit and not the ETS kit yet. I'm personally waiting for the IAG blocks to release before going to the ETS kit. I'm mixed in the turbo size because I don't want another huge turbo car with turbo slap at 4k.
Monica, hahahaha
😂😂😂
420ish range isn’t impressive for a $7k kit… why is it so low? I’m at 400 stock turbo.
This is on pump gas 93. You dont make 400 whp on a stock turbo on pump gas. You can make 400 pretty easy on e85 on a stock turbo
