I didn’t feel any difference with the carbon filter removal. There was also no difference in peak boost per the dash. Best mod for me was the Accessport/ETS airbox/Dman OTS combo. So much bang for the buck.
I agree that I like the looks of the front end and I really like the fenders and think they really do fit a “rally” car. The rear bumper looks like a full diaper though. I try not to walk up on mine from the back 😂
Black (or red) Carbon fiber shifter knob for 60 bucks off subiemods changes the entire experience of driving! Plus the little silver ring at the base of the stock shifter broke loose and would spin on me and it drove me nuts lol
@@diallo1347 it would not void your warranty unless it is the direct cause of the failure you're trying to warranty. Dealership will not as it isn't OEM parts. Best to find a performance shop with a good reputation.
Would the catch can and axle back exhaust void warrenty at all? Or if engine blew becuse of sealant in oil pan and they saw a catch can think they would use it as excuse to not warrenty engine. Something to think about.
I've checked with my dealer and they said it would not void warranty overall. They would not cover any direct damage from the AOS or from the AOS install that it might cause, say from an improper install. Same for any exhaust. The more intrusive the mods the more risk to not being covered.
Picking up my wrx premium next week. Thanks to your videos and info. Wasted my time looking for an si.
Glad I could help! Congrats on the new car!

Right on!
Agreed.

Ha yep you nailed it!
Great video, I think swapping out the grill is a big one for me followed by exhaust and fender flares.
Grill is a good one for sure!
Is the Wrx still in your stable?
@@Gonin60 LMAO yup I was going to ask the same question to you 👀
@@RaceCarFriends mine has been gone for months but have a lot of content to still cover
@@Gonin60 Wow I had no clue! I'm trying to save up dinero currently to start modding my WRX.
New to modding cars and cars in general here. Is there any negatives to taking off your filter?
The carbon air filter is okay but don’t remove your air filter

Good points!
Congrats on the Golf R. Wasn't sure if you kept the WRX. Apparently you did.
I did but it’s gone
So you DID get rid of it. I guess you got tired of it. I mean the Golf R is a great vehicle but it's also $10K+ more.. @@Gonin60
@@JoeNocella didn’t get tired of it. I rarely keep cars more than a year
If you plan to keep it long-term. AOS has to be #1.
Yep!
Would and AOS void warranty? And would the dealership install?

No they should not. You can check with Subaru though

Hi there, I just got my WRX Clubspec (TR) version.wanna know what is generally the peak boost bcz mine is like .82 😅
.82? I can’t really comment as I’m not sure what yours is measured in
@Gonin60 Would you take a mazda 3 turbo over the wrx?
If they made a manual, yes in a heartbeat. But since they don’t I would take the Wrx.
@@Gonin60 yeah, very unfortunate that they don't have a manual. Otherwise, it's a brilliant car too. Also, sad to hear your wrx is gone.
@@sarathMustang why do you say his WRX is gone? Lol
@@xXpapercutsXx He mentioned it in the comments with RaceCarFriends
@@sarathMustang oh well this is no bueno! Why did you get rid of it?
What offset are those wheels man?
Can’t remember. Wheels are Aodhan
Utah?
Yes
Ethanol flash.
Okay
Terrible advice. Get 1. Cobb Accessport 2. ETS intake 3. STimikey custom tune for ethanol if you can get it. 380whp/450wtq guaranteed.
Cool go blow your motor
21k miles of 400/450 with ets intake and a flash. You do you i guess. This is my second round, va had 75k miles of flex fun. 375/350.
Beautiful in the face but,
Haha
terrible list of mods. you should get 1) cobb Accessport 2) cold air intake 3) pro tune. cheapest 75whp ever!
Terrible advice out of the gate
AP and a custom ethanol tune from @stimikey .. cheapest 150whp+ you will pick up on a stock car.
@@Gonin60dont worry its just the typical subaru technique 🤣 then bro will blame subaru
on my 23 i did The STI Wing, rear F1 lights and a single Cat Back Exhaust … working now in the oil/ air thing separator 🙌🏽🙌🏽!! Ty for the tips
