I didn't run into any problems with the parking garage I went to, but I have heard stories of people being asked to leave some of the garages around the airport, so just depends. I'd say as long as you are paying to park there and don't draw attention to yourself you should be alright. There are some other areas you can try that are "official" spots, but the vantage points aren't as good as from the garages

UAL 777-222 leaves each morning at 12:40ish its new. I live under the takeoff path.

They are building a new Terminal 1 yes, to replace the current T1 which is a pretty old setup now
