Great review. I bought the 2013 Lounge and loved it so much I bought a 500 C also. They are great cars and really make driving fun again without breaking the wallet. Good job.
I live in Texas. I have a 2015 500 sport and I love it. Here in the US the automatic is a 6 speed auto. Great review by the way. It is always interesting to see the differences and the 500 varies by country's. I have the 1.4 multi air engine good for 98 horsepower, which is the standard fare unless you get the turbo model or the abarth. Also I love the digital instrumentation cluster that was new for 2015.
@@AutoReviewCom, the dualogic is an automated single clutch manual, that's why it would lurch when you shift. The automatic here is a lot better, with the same 101 hp engine. If you ever come to the US, you should rent one, you'd like it.
@ Anas jarrar I like the Adam, but I have only seen one in the showroom last year. They don't get many in here, but you can order one I guess. Pricewise they are very close, with Opel being German.

You did a fantastic review. its a great little car, its one of my favorite cars.(note that i am getting the 2015 500 in green with a brown and white interior). the good thing about the fiat is that it has so much soul and character and it makes you feel happy, which matters most of all in a cool car. it also is fun to drive and is comfortable in my point of view. I am also in contact with the fiat dealership, did you get the car from a man called David ( he is the manager of the fiat dealership in Dubai by any chance? and tell me what you think of the fiat dealership? thanks again for reviewing the fiat.

I admire the styling and the color. Not a practical choice for one living in the western US as I do. For the narrow streets of Europe, a reasonable option.
I would say it depends where in the US you live. If it is a more rural area with mostly highways I would not suggest to get the 500, but if it's like a city like San Francisco or L.A. I think you should be more than fine.
I'm in the U.P. of Michigan with all highways and it does a great job, no wind resistance and handles the road flawlessly at 70mph. For winter I'm buying snow tires but so far no problem.
U.P. dan The car nice in my opinion, I like the size as I am used to see small cars everywhere when in Europe and it makes sense in highly populated cities with little parking spaces.
This month I have scheduled a Mercedes GLK, a Lincoln MKC and an Audi A8L so far. I might be testing a Hyundai Genesis too, but that's not confirmed yet. Stay tuned.
Still no progress with Al Futtaim, it's kind of weird that it appears so difficult to get hold of a Toyota or Lexus when testing Audi, Mercedes & Co., but it is what it is. I have a friend who reviews cars too and he said it took him over 1 year to finally get a Lexus.

Usually the driving part isn't that long, however I try to make the first half the introduction about the car and the practicality and the driving part in such a way, that you can watch both, the first or just the second part. The Fiat 500 is a great little car, though as I said, I would recommend to get a manual if possible.
I have not yet gotten in touch with Volvo here in the UAE. Subaru I contacted but with no reply so far. I have to grow further to get their attention I guess. :-)
In the UAE they sell models of the next year in the same year already, so when I reviewed his one it was already a 2015 model. I know the actual 500 form 2015 has the new TFT display. Thanks for your comment.

It's a 2015 model, I would not lie or say something wrong, only what I am being told by the manufacturer where I get those cars from. Please be informed that in the UAE you can get a 2016 model in late summer of 2015 as this is they way they sell them here. It doesn't mean it was build in 2016, but has the newer specs (if any) and therefore the call it the 2016 model, or in this case 2015. Thanks
Unfortunately they don't bring the regular Abarth 500 to the UAE, it would sell pretty good I believe as many guys like to have a fun toy for the weekend.
Auto Review Yes i noticed that! another thing that i find really annoing about my car in semi auto the auto gear shifting down from 3 to 2 etc.. when it puts you in first gear and you can't get out of it unless you are going at a certain speed the 1st gear it is really bad so jerky lol... this car would have been better if when on manual mode it will let you change gears at your own will. in my opinion the first gear on this car is terrible. i would hardly ever use the first gear if i had a choice.

I like the 500, though I would opt for the Abarth version with 160hp or even the more powerful 180hp.

Thank you, I personally like the Fiat 500 but in my opinion it must be equipped with a manual gearbox.

I think It's better and it has more features than the 500.

Hi the Fiat 500 0.9t has 85hp to 105hp and the 1.2 has 69hp
In the UAE they don't sell the 2-cylinder engine which we have in Europe.

This is not a 2015 model, the 2015 model has a TFT screen. Please do your research properly but good overview of a older model though.
In the UAE they sell models of the next year in the same year already, so when I reviewed his one it was already a 2015 model. I know the actual 500 form 2015 has the new TFT display. Thanks for your comment.

I have that shift jerk on my 2011 twinair dua logic and it sucks big time lol...
I don't even use auto... just semi auto... which is a bit better.
True, as mentioned in the video, I shifted manually in low to midrange revs it's ok, but in automatic and high revs it is very annoying.
