Thanks for showing this. I have a pair of thread snips that I love and the thought of just tossing them since I can’t find replacement blades broke my heart. I’m sure my father in law has most of these materials in his stash of guy stuff. Will be giving it a try. Also, I love that you said it was fun to snip the thread at the end. There is indeed something very satisfying about using thread snips that scissors just can’t provide!
I worked in an industry that used this kind of snips because they were cheap and disposable, but I have never considered buying a pair of Fiskar's Snips until now. They seem easy to sharpen, and I would definitely give it a try. However, I think I would get some replacement blades... just in case. LOL
