On our table tonight. Remembering eating it in a little sea side restaurant in Peñiscola last year. We will raise our glass and say thanks to you in about an hour, Alberto! Thank you once more!!!
Buenos Dias! Muchas gracias por sus recetas fantasticas! El bonito sol de Espana brilla a traves de ellas! Voy a probar todas sus recetas! Continuad el buen trabajo, por favor.
I have a friend from Boston, Mass, married to an Italian. They moved to Arizona for years. Now they live in Moraira. They love your programmes and hoard your recipes. See what an influence you have on food lovers? Many thanks Albert; this one will be on my table very soon.
Just started learning a few Spanish dishes and found you. These recipes are amazing and they are so simple. Perfect for a home cook. Don’t need fancy equipment that I’ll never use again.
We went to Peniscola in November 2019, toured the beautiful castle, and enjoyed the lovely restaurants nearby. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I can surprise my family.
Like your approach. It’s just the essential information. It’s so frustrating to “waste time “ having to watch some presenters peel vegetables etc. Thank you. Love everything I’ve tried so far.
Yes is very beautiful, Spanish and Portuguese people love their fish and for me is better than meat and this recipe is one of them one of my favorites always thank you for sharing a delicious recipe have a great weekend ✌🙏🎅
YUM! So easy, I have to make this tonight! Also, I want to say how much I appreciate your recipes. I'm a dairy-free pescatarian and heavily plant based, so everything you cook fits perfectly into my menu. THANKS! :)
Hello from Tucson, Arizona. So happy to find your channel. We've planned for this to be our star dish for New Year's Eve, and tapas on NY Day. Thank you for the inspiration. Putting you on our Patreon list for 2021.
I made an adapted version of this last night and it was delicious - the broth was especially tasty. I couldn't get mussels, so went with sea scallops and one lobster tail instead. I was going to use tilapia instead of cod, but my store was out, so did use cod which, unfortunately, seemed to taste fishy in the recipe. I also substituted vegetable stock for the fish stock (because, again, my store didn't have fish stock.) Bottom, line, because the broth is so good, this makes an exceptional base recipe that can be adapted to personal preferences. I served it with a baguette and the best part was sopping up the liquids. Another great recipe!
New to your channel. Love your recipes. Your English is excellent! I’m allergic to seafood but love the prep. Awesome job as always. Excelentes vídeos! Gracias por compartir tan deliciosas recetas 🙏 Feliz Navidad!
I made this but I used clams, halibut, scallops and shrimp. I also added some grated parmesan cheese on top. It was delicious. I am on Weight Watchers and used a little less oil but it tasted great..and very low in points!
I'm from Spain and loved your recipe. Two of the mussels were closed after the cooking and it is important to explain to those not seaside people that is better to throw away those closed ones. Just a coment. Love your channel.
Hi again, This looks fantastic. I love all fish dishes and especially stews/soups. My mother's side of the family is /was Italian - when we all got together at holidays my grandmother (from Naples) would make beautiful cippino (sp?) and a variety of dishes with baccala (fresh and salted) as a child I helped her in the kitchen which is where I got my love of cooking from. By the way, have you produced a book with your recipes? It would be nice to have them all in one place and just to read. I wish I had some of that stew now!!! Thanks again!!!
It just means that it isn't spicy. Comes in either hot or sweet. I always keep the sweet on hand, and if a recipe calls for spicy, then just add a pinch of cayenne.
Hey thank you so much for sharing this healthy and delicious recipe 😊 question, for the fish broth that you used, did you make your own fish broth or you just buy the very good quality ones from supermarket? Because it will take so much time to make fish broth during weekday haha
Why do you have to pat them dry if you are adding them to liquid anyway? I would understand if u r searing, but I think in this case it’s an unnecessarily step. But the dish looks delicious
I was thinking the same thing but perhaps it goes with the fact that he prepared the fish and shrimp beforehand so the salt/seasoning impregnates before stirring into the stew
You need to add some spiciness to the pescado. I would also refrain from adding saffron. Its delicate flavor can be and will easily be covered and masked by the other strong flavors. I love mine with extra spice added. Lots of crushed red pepper or some cayenne mixed in. This is one of my all-time top 10 seafood soups/stews!!!
Although I do not need or even look at the legends, I like to see how bad they can be (even from English to English!). In this film the words in the legends were piled upon each other making it difficult to read them. Otherwise, a very good video. Saludos
We Iberians sure love cod. Greeting from Portugal, mi hermano.
Yes!!! Saludos desde España :)
Visited Peñiscola last summer. Such a beautiful town! Cannot wait to try this! Gracias, Albert.

Mouth watering......if you add ginger pieces... it will enhance the flavour......👍
Fantastic. So different from Mexican food.
Absolutely, Mexico is in the Americas and Spain is in Europe. Nothing to do with each other :) much love
Cracking recipe - and so easy. I suspect it's the quality of the fish stock that makes or breaks it!
Absolutely! You will find a link to the one I used in my blog, link in the description :)

Looks so tasty 😋
Thank you 😋
Wow what an amazing recipe, perfect! Stay connected and be safe.
Did it have a reddish tint after you finish cooking from the tomatoes?
** sweet ** smoked Spanish paprika. How does it sweet? Sugar? You use very often in your cooking. Thanks
It just means that it isn't spicy. Comes in either hot or sweet. I always keep the sweet on hand, and if a recipe calls for spicy, then just add a pinch of cayenne.
Great recipe video again. Did you know that much of the seafood in Spain comes from the UK. Strange but true.
Interesting! thanks for the comment :) much love
A question about the Fish broth if it is homemade or store bought
The one I used was store-bought :) much love
Hey thank you so much for sharing this healthy and delicious recipe 😊 question, for the fish broth that you used, did you make your own fish broth or you just buy the very good quality ones from supermarket? Because it will take so much time to make fish broth during weekday haha
I used some from my local market, which is really good stuff :) much love
