I Really Wish That He Would Come Back To Do A World Tour Before He Leaves Us For The Next Life ! Amen 🙏
One of the best singer of the word
15yrs old now Im 67 Peace to the World
About 50 years after he wrote this. Nothing has changed. Love the song, the message falls on deaf ears. Nothing will ever change.
C'mon Nancy 😘
I do not understand your comment.@@Jarard-st4li
The simple message really does seem to fall on deaf ears; or closed minds. The disturbing thing to me is that it is such a straight-forward message; it's basically common sense; it makes no sense to not live in peace. The problem seems to be that the world has always had the rogue element. This rogue elements turns up in the world like a noxious weed that cannot be gotten rid of. Even when you pull them out by the roots, enough of them remain so that the buggers grow again; it's a never-ending job keeping them in check.
Anyway, it's a great song ...
That is why he is so special and brave to keep trying
I'm 73 & have been a follower of Cat Yusuf since the beginning of my college years...loved him then, love him now.
Pushing 70 now but this gentleman still runs rings around my heart.
A lot of people don't know that he gave almost all his money from music to humanitarian efforts he is an angel
he is amazing.
Yo estuve enamorada de él por muchos años. Le perdí la pista y ahora ya somos unos viejos. Marcó una época memorable en mi historia personal … me fue tan grato volver a escucharlo y a verlo ! gracias Cat Stevens
I’m a Christian but I can recognise a Godly man: kudos.
Subhanallah!!!!
Cause that's islam my friend
My husband knew all the words to all his songs! He loved Cat!!
hello, how are you doing it is nice meeting you here…

Hard believe this song could be written today.
June 2023 In the name of the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit, dear God, through Your intercession,
please stop this war against Ukraine & stop Russian aggression. Amen.
(thanks for praying with me.)
He should get the Peace Prize for that song!
Beautiful man, and a beautiful song.
Why is this classic not up there with "Imagine", being played at basically every peace rally around the globe? ❤️🕊
Its better than Imagine
The power of corruption. The power of the dollar. The power of Paul McCartney.🖖
Absolutely! This is on point and from the ❤
He returns like an old friend; warm and familiar. His voice hasn't lost a thing in all these years. And his guitar playing is still top notch. I always thought he was underrated.
His voice sounds JUST THE SAME as it did all those years ago, it's really amazing.
@@ruthsayers1163 I think he sounds even better than he did when he was younger ( if that's possible). Now he has the wisdom of living in peace through the years; his voice is even richer and more seasoned. I have always loved his music since I was a young girl in the 60's ... so glad he returned to his roots of music, even if for a short visit.
I've ALWAYS loved his music since the 60's as well. I was a young child then, and my Mother loved his music, she used to play it on cassette tapes!!!!!!!!!! You probably remember those things????????? She got me completely hooked on his music as well. I'd just love to be able to go and listen to him singing and chat to him again.
Allah bless 🙏☺️
@Cheryltwin2012 You phrased that perfectly. Thank you.
Tears are flowing✌
Lasst uns alle beten...das dieser Wahnsinn ein Ende hat! ALLAH hat das auf keinen Fall gewollt!
Let’s all pray for this peace train
He saw this coming decades before we did!
1st released in 1971 and the world was actually a lot less peaceful then... but its a real shame that in last 40 years we havent made the progress we shouldve...
Yusuf/Cat Steven’s, you were so smart to leave fame and stardom in Hollywood, etc back then….thank God you were spared! I was so upset when you disappeared when you did because you were one of my favorite artist/poets in music at the time. It’s because you were genuine. You’re so beautiful in every way, inside and out, and with your beautiful music you give life to souls. So thankful you're in this world.

I think he found his balance for hapiness by giving from his talents in the right way , dosing and finding the way in between the good and bad from hard struggle in live and finding his own way . He is the example for many people ,he will always be. Yes he is an ANGEL !!
One of the most under appreciated artists and humanitarians of all time. His Music is timeless and so badly needed nowadays!! Much Love to Yusuf Islam, the Artist formerly known as Cat Stevens!!
Now more Thane ever 2023
Except he didn't need to be a religious nutcase.
Apr 2022 In the name of the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit, dear God stop this war against Ukraine & stop Russian aggression. Amen. thanks for praying with me.
I have just turned 70. A song this top of the charts in my college days. A song i sung with my wife walking past an exotic Himachali home when on our honeymoon. Deeply etched in one's memory still.
This song was so powerful and relevant when Cat first released this song in 1971. Still a powerful and relevant song today. Brings back so many memories of my youth. Thank you, Yusuf, for all you do for the good of humanity.
That's all we need peace train
I am listening to this on April 15, 2022- The Middle Of Ramadam, The Start Of Passover, & Good Friday.
"Peace Train" is such an appropriate song for today, tomorrow, & every day.
Peace be with all of my Brothers & Sisters around the World. We may call Our Father by different names or even question his existence but we are all Family... ALWAYS.
Well said, humanity is so flawed but we need to learn trust and compassion and keep striving for peace and love for our fellow human beings.

"Alevei"... “From Your Mouth To G-D's Ears!" AMEN!
Well said.
Oh boy i got the chills and even some tears... beautifully written, oh how i wish and hope that one day we will all be able to just look as each other as brothers and sisters. Amen
The Dali Lama once said: We are ALL playing on the same team. Remember that.

Well stop praying to a God that ordered massacre in his Holy book
Your voice is calm, like still water. The sentiments of your songs pure - some raw, some peaceful. Nice to have you back- you have been missed.
Anne O'Rourke Very much missed by me.
Does he still sing his "old" music at concerts etc? I'd really love to go and see him if he does do that. I used to listen to his music in the 60's and 70's, I loved it SO MUCH. I still really love it now.
Your words are perfect
This should to be an anthem that needs to be brought back right now!

Let's all jump on the Peace Train and stay on it forever.
Fell in love with his music a million years ago while watching "Harold & Maude" with my first ever boyfriend. Here I am at the age of 57 trying to find some peace in the middle of COVID with an insane political situation here in the US. Thank the universe there are still people like this on the planet.
Yes! Sylvia Oesterwinter. Me too! I love love him like he's in my heart family. His music had given me joy for 35 years!. And at 53, I too am at struggle with the dire needs in the world and the balance of finding my own joy... Blessings.
I just went back decades of my life, when I was singing this song with you and dancing. Thank you for writing such an ispirational music!

I remember the reason why I felt in love with you. Great man you are!!!
Good to see you back sharing your gift and humility. You were missed
How could anyone not love this mans music?
How can this audience sit in their seats and not enjoy this very very rare moment to hear Peace Train live by Cat Stevens? Where all the 70s hippies at? Not a single one in the audience?? All these people, sitting like entitled zombies, can spot a very few people rocking a little in their seats and smiling because they realize this is a rock moment in history. A performance wasted. I would have been standing and rocking and crying in joy to hear this song, the message, the performance live. sigh. Thank you Cat Stevens!
God will smile on this man. He is a blessing to us all.
What a beautiful man. What a generous heart. What a loving soul. Thank you for the Years of dedication.
Deze man is groots . Love him
My late mother's favorite musician, Yusuf Islam, may Allah bless you Mr. Yusuf Islam 🥰🤗
What an exceptionally beautiful man… He always has been beautiful. The gentleness that emigrates from his voice. 💚

GOD BLESS CAT! ✝️🙏
He is such a beautiful man. The world could learn a lot from him.
loved him then and always will
Cat Stevens Tea For The Tillerman was my introduction to Yusuf, it changed my life, my vision, my thoughts, my outlook on everything, he speaks to my ❤. Tremendous musician and song writer, but most of all a Humane Human Being. Peace and love.
Yusuf's songs consoled my pain when I was a teenager. Today they reconcile me with humanity for the time it takes to listen to them, lulling me into an illusion of peace. Thirst for power and the greed of the rich will always prevail, they have no interest in eradicating poverty and promoting education. Thank you, Yusuf, for this window of hope.
Hearing this brought me to tears. So relevant to today, even more than it was when you first brought it to us, in my younger, more naive years. I'm old now, never in my life did I think we would see the amount of strife and hatred we are seeing today. I will always have hope that Love will over come hate.
Peace Brother. Thank you. I needed this this morning. 🕊️ May Peace and Love wash over the World. ☮️💗🌊
Ameen🤲
I have same thoughts like you.
Love for All, hate for None!
Love always overcomes hate. I was amazed listening to this this evening, people were having those problems at the time he was singing about them, but they're so much more now!!!!! We need more people singing songs like this, or maybe we just need Cat Stevens back, singing all that amazing music. Those amazing songs, with such powerful words. He can "shake the world up" in a positive way, and make people realize what we all need to do.
Love ALWAYS DOES overcome hate.
Peace and love always to everyone who is suffering the animals especially.
Sending healing blessings of Love and light ❤️
Erradication of poverty is the way to peace!
I had the luck to live with this guy's music!!! One day i´ll find him and invite for a lunch ate my home with my family!
When I was a middle-school English teacher, I used end the school year with this song and would have the kids form a train to sing it along with Cat. What a beautiful memory. I'm now wondering whether or not the kids, who are now in their twenties, even think about the song and its meaning. One can only hope.
You did a beautiful thing and I hope with you!
God bless your heart ❣️
Thanks, now I am singing for audiences that need healing most but writing for everyone. Please check out my music on RUclips. Let me know what you think.
You were an amazing teacher all those years back
Thank you. Now I am a recording artist, writing my own tunes. I just listened to three mixes of three of my new tunes. More are to come. I've been entertaining audiences as a singer of standards all of my life, but just started writing in 2019. I don't miss teaching, just the kids.
Thank you Cat Stevens for being of of my favorite singers and especially for this song to remind others all faiths deserve to be treated with respect and honored as long as they teach things that give guidance to families so little children are raised with morals and principles. This song serves as a reminder to the world that Muslims care about peace as much as others and only by uniting the world with love can we conquer the hate of the past.
" I listen to the wind, to the wind of my soul; I let my music take me where my heart wants to go..." So powerful are those words of deep rooted feelings.
So good to hear your beautiful, melodic voice again. Pure art and music at its finest: then, now and again....thank you for all your efforts in bringing hope to the world; it's not gone unnoticed.
Das war gut. Mit Deinen Songs bin ich aufgewachsen, fast groß geworden, und nun werde ich damit sterben.
This gave me chills. He still has it all these years later. Indeed, hearing this song gives me peace.
I remember him when i would get stoned with friends ..i knew every song. We need this kind of music today...none of this hate nasty stuff we have today. Glen M. Torrance
If everyone had held this song in there heart for just one minute every day ! What a beautiful word it would be X
What a beautiful sentiment. You would think it would be easy to 'feel' peace for oneself & everyone else.
I am listening to this and told a friend to listen to this...hope he is ❤ the words mean so much
Unity and love still exists in this world. 💖❤✌
Yes it does, despite all odds. I believe that unity and love are the core of our being.
They should have given the prize to him. What a song and a man.
Since I was 5 years old my father gave me the greatest gift. Cat Steven's on vinyl thanks dad
The first album I ever owned in my entire life was Cat Stevens Catch Bull at Four, Cat Stevens or should I say Yusuf. Sorry if I misspelled I’m not that great at that. Plus I’m talk texting but he has been one of my favorite favorite favorite artist since I was 11 and I am 62 now I can’t believe I can still watch him, young or old, although I don’t believe he’s that old, because Cat Stevens is one of the most magical and most influential artists that I have ever known! I will always always be a huge fan! Cat Stevens or Yusef, Stevens is one of the best men of our century! You can’t deny that, can you ❤😊
Playing these song throughout my life, I couldn’t live without this beautiful man .
Such a voice and huge heart
It seems like his recent come back, but all of a sudden, it’s 18 years ago.
Cant believe it…
He did what he had to do for all those years, but can’t help but feel the world was robbed of decades of amazing music.
Either way, it was amazing to see the great man return.
“Eradication of poverty definitely is the way to Peace.” Education is a powerful means of achieving that goal. I particularly love this Peace Train version.I hope that one day Yusuf will get the Nobel Price for all his efforts to make this world a better place. 🕊🕊🕊🕊
Eradication of poverty like get a job go to work get paid go shopping wow what a concept?do I get a Nobel for this Idea?
I wish peace were that simple, but the murderous Russian attack on Ukraine is an example of greed and Putin's mental instability as the root cause of war, not poverty.
A man who did his own thing.
Wow, so happy to hear his beautiful voice again! I loved his music since I was a young girl. We learned to sing moon shadow with my 4th grade teacher playing guitar. The memory has stayed with me all these years. I listened to Yusef's album over and over. I love his message of peace and 💘 love. So happy to hear him sing again .
Blessing blessing for you
I recall “ Hard headed woman… somebody i left , send me that tape a million years back… where are all the flowers gone? I was back home in Angola and listened to Cat Stevens so much… then he disappeared and i kept all records and memories… now in America, I wonder how bad things turned and how the heck did we f***ed everything so bad…
Cat is such a talented man, and he also just gave his voice for a better world!
So many Muslim just want love and peace I say that as a Londoner from Irish and Scottish descent x
We all want peace 😢
Your music is timeless and touches our souls. Bless you dear man.We need a peace train now more than ever. Love your fellow man and woman because we are all brothers and sisters. Listen to these words and heed them.
Got to play that song everyday it is beautiful
I had the biggest crush on him when I was a teenager. His albums all sit quietly on a shelf, from 50 years ago. 💖 ❣
So many can relate.
Me too

I findyself smiling when I hear this song. It's a song of hope. Bless you for what you do and for who you are.
Love this guy, i'm 71 and have listened to him a long time, smile.
I'm an Indonesian, and I have an old Dutch friend who lives here. When I told him I love Cat Stevens, he said wistfully, "oh, Cat... reminds me of my youth in the Netherlands. Such a talented guy wasn't him."
Thank you Yusuf, I grew up with your music! Thank You God for him!!
Still beautiful after all these years.
God bless us, everyone.
I've got my ticket. I'm just waiting for the train.
I love you 💕 cat Stevens thank you cat

I remember this night. To hear this voice singing this song after a silence of 28 years . . . I was not the only one in tears. So great to hear this inspired communicator and educator once again.
Now more than ever my friends.. ✌🏼
Tears. Every time I hear this song.
Je me rappelle, j’avais 13 ans et j’étais avec ma copine, jeux interdits mais on écoutait cet artiste et on était heureux.merci

Thank you Michael. 😍 his music is so perfect for now
hello, how are you doing it is nice meeting you here…
Cat/Yusuf is caring for humanity and his vocation has kept him young. Such a rare talent and person.❤️
So many memories.from this man.
When mother earth has had enough she'll shake us off her back.
I listened to this wonderful message as a teenager and I'm listening now. You knew!
Beautiful song and sentiment and as relevant now as 50 years ago.

you are like a fine wine, you just keep getting better with age
The Cat Is A Magnificent Human Being Peace Be With You Always!!!!👋♥️♥️♥️♥️
Cat, you have many admirers in Brazil. Those who were born in the 50s and 60s. The interesting think is that even after stopping in your career you stil fill the shows. Congratulations and long live Islam.
He's not filling a show. It's the Nobel Peace Prizes not a show. He is a guest.
