Imagine if Ubisoft sells assassins creed IP to someone and they just retcon everything after assassins creed brotherhood and do it again so it’s not an endless and meaningless plot line.
It is the end of Ubislop, the only thing I was looking forward to them was beyond good and evil 2 but that has been in a limbo for a decade and at this point I have no faith in them delivering any worthile sequel.

It's not malicious. The level of talent at Ubisoft has evidently dropped off a cliff in the last 10 years, as we can see with SW - Outlaws. I'll say it plainly: there are too many women in these development teams. Women don't obsess about nerdy details about obscure subjects (like nerds do) and are never held up to standards of excellence, by others or by each other. That artistic and technological quality has dropped off a cliff in 5 short years after the DEI push is nothing surprising.

They use that character as a framework for themselves. Women often times project themselves onto things. Its why it is so obvious when a woman is writing a character, because they are just writing themselves but casting all their flaws in a positive light. Now this isn't always true of course, but it's too consistent to not be noticed. I think this is a big reason men tend to be more into very specific details in their media where a lot of women are not.
