I cannot believe they are saying old world is under performing when the starter kits have sold out in my country. If you sold everything how is it underperforming?
Not the first time GW underprints the sets. They underprinted both Orks and Custodes battleforce for this week.
The battleforces, but not the other models. Or maybe they have some metric about traffic online

@@games-wz7sz So when GW made the RPG for Warhammer fantasy they along with fantasy flight games made a ~150 page book detailing the Culture and History of the Bretonnians (They did this with every faction).
They have several pages about what happens to a Bretonnian female if they want to be a knight, The Short version is
-Lord will send the female knight on non stop valor quests until she dies or she puts a dress back on an acts like a lady. (they even saw in one of the books if you want to play a female knight play one from either the Empire or Southern realms where they don't care)
When writing the Old world novel the bretonnian knights are now filled with Women several of whom complain about feudalism and how its a terrible system...
Definitely some citations needed. I don't trust *anything* I read off of 4chan. Ever. We're all healthier that way.

The chorfs are antisemitic? Maybe I'm remembering things wrong. But they were just dwarves with spikes and black hair. How is that antisemetic? They will probably just update their look
Large nosed, black hair in ringlets and have no morals provided they are paid. That'll be why, its not outright but enough that it'll be mentioned on and GW doesn't need that.
It's the whole case of if you go looking for something hard enough/try to make nothing into something we end up with these statements. Only time will tell. The looks would probably be updated slightly if new minis ever appeared down the line.

Rumours/Leaks are mostly just incoherent whispers. Statements like that just add to it. Gives people space to speculate / attempt to interpret it etc I guess. I get what you mean though.
Man, Games Workshop had the greatest fictional universe ever and are pissing it all away.

I hope Chaos Dwarfs return in some way, or otherwise appear in AoS. But I can't help thinking that if Mr. Brown looks at Chaos Dwarfs and he gets anti-semetic thoughts in his brain then it is a Mr. Brown problem.
It's like most things these days, everyone has a different perspective outlook and see's things differently to others. I've never had much knowledge or care for Chaos Dwarfs so I'm not really that bothered. That said... people on both sides can hopefully have a 'fair' discussion on the subject. I just hope people who want new Chaos Dwarfs get them in some form.

The resin one in particular makes me think they're just removing the Failcast minis, because they're still releasing new Forge World resin now, but Failcast hasn't seen a release in years.
Yeah, failcast can finally be put in the bin. The current resin stuff is decent quality & loads of other companies mainly just use resin etc. Your dead on your opinion 🤝
A lot of this sounds like outright bullshit.
Just the comment on the "leaked pics" being released by GW to build up hype alone shows this is BS. They mention Peachy talking about Insider secrets in the same comment, when he is the guy who outright confirmed they don't do that. And he worked in their fucking marketing department so he would know.
The Chaos Dwarf comment is pure Bullshit too. White Fang already confirmed them coming soon and he is THE GW rumor/leaks guy.
The thing about Tomb Kings outselling Bretonnia is also provably wrong by third party site sales data too. Not to mention that bit went against this anon's prior comment about Tomb Kings not being a good choice of "villains" leading to Old World underperforming. How does that line up?
I could keep going, but most of this sounds like bullshit. Especially stuff like the Death Guard and Adeptus Mechanicus range reductions or Harlequin's being removed completely. This anon needs to work on his bait.
gotta admit im a bit skeptical of the chaos dwargs not going forward, considering the success of chaos dwarfs in total war warhammer i would think games workshop would be interested in making chaos dwarfs, seems like one of those not real leaks tbh
Chaos Dwarfs could end up with updated minis for AOS or maybe Old World down the line? I know GW are trying to separate both settings so people have to use separate armies etc for each one. Rumours/leaks salt is always needed.
Hearing behind the scene of GWs products failing is hilarious because like you said us gamers actually have ideas we'd prefer ti see but they don't want kur money?
Also ive been to GW store where they play underworlds and it surprised me. I said "ive never seen this played out side of a small con room." And the employee said "oh thats weird ita actually really popular." 🙄
Big wigs know best 'apparently' don't listen to the people who actually throw money at your product etc I guess. I see underworld pop up a bit on Insta/Twitter as people enjoy painting the warbands.
How often are these predictions actually true? They gave no timelines. Thats like ppl saying AoS will be gone in a year.
I can see Underworlds(my fav game) being on its last legs. I thing it took them too long to try more casual modes of gameplay. I do like the no cards mode they put in WD 497 i think. Now im hesitant to get the newest boxset in case it is its last. There was too much confusion with the game. Theres the competitive box then the “intro” one for dramatically cheaper. They should’ve kep it at $75 USD max.
The Fyreslayers going away is possible as they have the least model diversity. I hope they do something new with them other than heros. Id like to have a force of just or mostly heroes, like khorne can do. That would be different and interesting. Not good but interesting.

Yeah take these 'rumours' with a pinch of salt. Underworlds has always been a wired one. Trying to be too many things at once and imo over complicating things at times. I forget to mention Fyeslayers in detail but the faction is very same. I'd like to be more infantry options and different looking units instead of just angry half naked ginger fire dudes. Cool faction but also meh at the same time in my view. Thanks for dropping on by :)

I stopped buying Brettonians when I noticed the Marxist/woke crap in it. It's not in Tomb Kings do I switched over to them.
Tomb kings will be quicker to paint as well. My knowledge on OW lore is non existent so I can’t really talk about bretonnians in detail.
