That is a very impressive slug. Typically these kind of gimmicky slugs don't really perform that well. They are more show than go. But man, I can't believe how accurate this thing is AND it does what it's designed to do on impact.

Officer Gregg ..if I ever saw a news report that Paul Harrell went off the deep end and shot people, I would not be shocked!!! He is a "Professional" 😀
TAOFLEDERMAUS Eh Jeff, great channel brother you guys are a YT staple. That makes you the milk, bread & cheese of YT so go ahead & enjoy that for all it's worth🔫😁👍 Eh buddy do you think you guys could try shooting sockets? 13mm & 1/2" seem to fit the best (12G) & I don't remember ever seeing anyone do it. Use them as a mold for lead slugs sure but never the actual socket itself, I don't think anyhow. Thanks bro!
I don't know what I'm more impressed with? The performance of these slugs or what seems to be a never-ending well of gut busting one-liners from Greg's mouth. 😆😂
He's one of my favorite personalities on YT. I can watch cools gun videos without being bombarded with political propaganda. I may even agree with much of the propaganda, but I'll watch political channels if I wanna hear that. These guys just make light hearted, funny videos and I can't get enough of that.
To the maker of the round. Dude that is crazy. Such a BEAUTIFUL thing to see preform, EXCELLENT work, and brilliant idea. Would love to see more rounds from u.great job, good luck
Man that round will make a mess of your house should you have the need to use it. The up side is there ain't a drug on Earth that will keep you going after hit with it. This is a one shot and your vaporized round.
holy crap that thing flies well, beautifully done, and the fragmentation not only holds up beautifully probably giving a good air channelling, but it is still delicately held together until relatively little resistance is met, the slug probably helps lever everything out as well, great round. Thanks for sharing.
Looking back at this now, the Paul Harrell statements mean all the more. Guy will always be a legend... And awesome testing guys. Been watching a long time. Finally getting around to buying some of the Ballistic Machinist rounds and wanted to re-watch these old tests. Keep up the good work.
very cool. and Yay! for OG's finger, holes, holes, everywhere. (got kinda shy around the pork hole, though. almost looked like OG's finger went kosher for this round.)
I've popped in and checked a few of your other shotgun round videos, this by far was the most impressive round. Works as intended (very well I might add) and total devastation. Very cool
6:40 at .25x that energy transfer is insane. even if the intruder has a plate vest on they are getting knocked off their feet and again you can see that spread is just perfect.
DAAANM!!!! son that was impressive. Wish you could have gotten a shot from behind the pork shoulder, but that would have been hard to clean off the camera.
dumdrumma with the way a lot of these tests go, the camera might be in too much in danger. Maybe a far range with a good zoom, but it be bad for the camera.

Probably no one will see this comment, but I was playing with some .22 LR ammo ( because I had nothing to do and 500+ rounds of .22 ) so I took a Phillips screw driver, and I ( myself, using my knife that had a built in Phillips ) drilled into it, pretty deep. The next day I shot it at a 1/2 inch of wood ( just a piece of extra wood ) and a thin sheet of tin, and shot it, doing great damage, I did have the board slanted steep. The exit wounds were amazing, pretty big for a .22 LR round, I did use a rifle, not sure if it was accurate enough, but I was inspired to try it as a self defense round. The rounds did chamber correctly through the rifle, the accuracy wasn’t sure because I need to fix the rifle, but I would like to see if some professional shooter would try it. I have not tried it through a pistol, but I would like to see a personal defense pistol in .22 LR fire the round and see the accuracy, around 10 - 30 yds is the shot I made, I think it was pretty accurate for a round that does not look stable, but I would love to see someone else try it
First thing, absolutely love your channel, I watch your videos as soon as they come out. That slug is badass, I dont think the .357 made a huge difference, I know it adds more shrapnel to the wound, and adds weight to the slug, but his design of the shotgun slug is perfect! That slug is devastating all by its self. To bad I cant get some of those shells!

So... the round instantly begins breaking up on one layer of drywall? From the moment the round begins breakup, I imagine it starts to rapidly dump energy and velocity due to drag. I wonder how many feet after hitting drywall/plywood before it becomes non lethal. Nuts that it does that, yet has stopping power and is still crazy accurate. That mushroom/flower effect is nuts. This round has to be a trauma surgeons nightmare.

TAOFLEDERMAUS Would you say that it might be relatively safe to use in a house or apartment if it didn't have the .357 round inside of it? Of course, if it didn't have the .357 it might not do that much damage either.

The fin stabilised brass penetrators were amazing. Not especially fast but extremely accurate.
The ballistic machinist REALLY did deliver on this round. Thats gnarly!
That pork test is utterly terrifying, you want to know what that round would do human chest, well there you go.
You do realize pork is as close to human as you can get
