    Definitely better than the studio version. I’m kinda addicted to this after just discovering it. That bass really makes a difference imo 🎉❤

    Somebody needs to start making decent live music programmes for tv again. The genius of Mick Karn and Midge Ure, we wouldn't have this if someone at the time didn't have taste and the ear of a tv station.

    Great bass.....Micks bass parts are always tricky to replicate

      Don’t think the bass player was Mick Karn. My wife is a huge Japan fan and after I showed her this video my wife agreed with me. It’s definitely not Mick Karn. Mick may have been on the original recording but it’s 100% not Mick Karn here.

      @@leeholden8658 no 100% not mick the bass player was part of the band that midge had with at times during his break from ultravox. Awesome performance. Bass player is great but he's no John taylor of duran duran

    They gave the keyboardists more screen time then most programs do that’s good cause you can learn the melody easily that way instead of ear play

    Midge always had a great sounding voice and when he went into his higher register he has a lot of power for a smaller bloke(1 inch taller than I lol)/Very talented man in many ways, HE wrote the Band Aid song not Geldof the man who should be trialed for involvement for an Aussie singer's death!

    Bass player is good but he's no John taylor of duran duran no1 can top John sorry. Midge is fantastic though great show man great vocal and 🔥🔥🔥
