ok so my library has 15 fantasy graphic novels and the second most popular topic is 14 lgbtq graphic novels. this is sick indoctrination
All of Velshi's "banned books" can be legally printed, legally distributed, legally sold and legally purchased in the USA. So not actually "banned". 😆😆 Since the inception of school libraries, various content has been deemed unfit for children by school administrators from all political affiliations.
Good to know thanks. I will buy several and give them as gifts to family and friends to share with their children. Most of us are not afraid to teach our children the truth about our history. All of it. We believe it's not right to just sweep the bad stuff under the rug and silence those who speak the truth or pretend it didn't happen.

The best thing you can do for yourself and others is to stay away from the news. It is fear based. All designed to scare you. Yes, things are all in a mess. However, what can you do other than vote the people in that can help. Take a break and walk away. Protect yourself from all of this fear.

Movies in the USA that are "Rated R", as in not fit for those under 18(AS IN CHILDREN) aren't "banned" from school libraries. They're not shown in schools because, now get this, BECAUSE they're unfit for children. Any teacher or librarian showing Rated R movies to children at the school library would be fired. And rightfully so. Movies that are Rated R are like the books that aren't allowed in K-6 or K-12 Libraries. Not "banned". Simply unsuitable for younger viewing audiences. Intelligent, level headed adults see right through Velshi's fear mongering and semantics.
