Getting hit with these types of kicks is DRAINING. Whatever you were doing , you have to reset and start over. You burn a lot more energy than you 'd think by having to put on the brakes and start back to moving forward . And it's humiliating . It's like getting pushed around by the school bully . But it's also great for self defense. I teach the version where you target the hips in my classes as a "get off me " move.

This was such an interesting topic to cover Gabriel, this was an amazing topic on Buakaw teeps for me because I am really good at teeps too, my trainer even said that I have good teeps in general especially the Thai side kick or Side Teep Gabriel and I will be sure to implement Buakaw teep when in sparring but first I will be practicing it on the bag and in padwork and then after try it out in sparring but overall such an amazing video and keep up the great work as always!
Damn....I still remember Buakaw's recent fight against the Chinese guy, he used the teep to counter off those fancy back kick. Anyway, any defense or counter measure against a teep?
It's time to see 265plus title fight between two 330 pounders. Is there not enough talent already at 265plus? Strongmen (Hafthor Bjornsson, Brian Shaw, Eddie Hall, Mitchell Hooper, etc.); boxers (Jerrell Miller), kickboxers (Hong Man Choi, Semmy Schilt), wrestlers (Mijain Lopez), NFL players (Bob Sapp), NBA (Omos), WWE (Big Show), sumo wrestlers, bodybuilders (Martyn Ford), weightlifters (Mark Henry from the WWE), PowerSlap (Da Crazy Hawaian), etc.

Could you make a video on Panpayak Jitmuangnon?
I kind of stay away from doing teeps and front kicks because I’ve jammed my big toe so many times broke it a few times as well it sucks 😢
Freaking AWESOME TOPICCCC!

Can you make a video on Tawanchai 's teep too ?

Anyway, any defense or counter measure against a teep?
There’s a couple ways. You can catch them, you can hollow yourself, and also parry.
Thanks for sharing :)
My pleasure!

WHY risk being on one foot pushing but not damaging the man? The same motion/distance can be a kick that RUINS him.
He has over 200 wins on record. So clearly there's something to it.
