Yes, I was worried for hi as well in that video. Still not seeing any life jackets with people leaning over the side of the boat, and IIRC that pond is DEEP!
Ending with Dog Dog was perfect
Now you just need a small pontoon boat with a flat deck that won't collect rain and sink like your current boat does. That would make the perfect island ferry!
Best thing I like about this system is it's Made in America.

Howdy Geoff! Looks like you're getting a bunch of work done on the mansion and pool. That aeration system will definitely help the big pond ecosystem thrive. You should put a fountain in the shallow end in front of the house. That would be a cool feature to look at from the house,deck and pool. Especially at night if you light it up. Mr Bealy Good - Sir…. One day dogdog is gonna catch the drone - if you plan to install a (blank) on the island 🏝️ may I suggest another boat otherwise you may like to consider auditioning for a part in Castaway 2 - great video take care and stay safe.
Maybe a good idea to think about incorporating solar power for that setup and have the mains power for backup charging or night usage that will cut the running cost down

The bubbles were evident in the last video and now explained on how it all works. The leaking boat - well it still stays afloat so it works fine🙃 Dog Dog sure loves the drone - one way to keep real fit too.

I sure hope the pond guys signed off on all those bubblers. One of the videos I watch lost all his fish and he only. had two bubblers. I think his pond was about the same as yours. "Country View Acres" isn't some crackpot. He's just a farmer but a pretty save one. good luck!
I had the system designed. He had a fish kill because the pond was older and it stirred up gasses from the bottom.
You're taking good care of the fish with this system. But the duck mafia might get mad you didn't install one for their pond!
The waterfall should work as aeration for the small pond, just have to make sure the intake for the fall is deep enough so you can run it more.

Its SUPER important they are not upside down laying on the bottom. They will stir up a ton of mud and bury themselves. Yes, you gotta dive and look.

It's a good thing Mrs Bealy Good wanted that island? It's coming in handy. I hope none of those aerators landed upside down on the bottom when they were tossed overboard. Haha.
You can also do fountains, with pickup set 12 inches above bottom.
Anything that circulates from near bottom to the surface.
Just the floating bird bath fountains help some, but they pick up surface water and spray it. But they look nice.
Jeff; Your Island for appearance sake needs Astroturf, not matching dark green and in time' extended a blanket of Astroturf from Swimming Pool to Pond, so that that area ( thin strip ) never gets an overgrown appearance, plus' some Astroturf would feel good on bare-feet at Cabana, (?) this wouldn't have been worthwhile prior to Ponds Aeration - Drone Overview !

I have some friends that have a little cabin on a lake and they have a couple small pontoon boats they use as ferries. One is a cable boat and the other is powered by a 2.5 hp mercury. (Could easily be an electric motor) Wish I could show photos in comments! They actually designed the boat with the outboard to look like a mini Washington State Ferry.

Interesting change of pace in this one. F15's out of Seymour Johnson AFB? One of my sons was stationed there for 3 years with the 336th Fighter Squadron. Always loved visiting there and visiting North Carolina. Thanks for the video(s). Great to see Dog Dog so happy.

They are a little more to run than I thought. I have a 2 bottom aerator in my pond but it was more for oxygen, my pond is 12’ deep. They do a fantastic job and it’s quite easy to replace the (pistons ? ) each year. Didn’t have that fancy hose when I put mine in and just used rebar.
Dog Dog is smart enough not to touch the drones propellers! She’s great!
About the aerators, you made that look super easy! is there any way to know if they are upside down? Might have to send your sub to go check.
If you want to reposition the aerators later you could probably throw a hook on a rope in the water to snag a line to pull it to the surface. Or go magnet fishing since the diffuser base plate is steel.

I like how you can adjust each lines pressure. Very nice! Telescope? That's really cool. Not sure what setup you will have, but I hear there is some pretty sophisticated software programs you can run remotely (from your office) to track the sky with a motorized scope. Zoom in to explore various parts of the universe and take photos/videos through the scope. Island is a perfect location being away from lights.

The biggest change to the silt content in the water will be when there is grass to cover the clay soil that is constantly washed in during rains.
A great addition to the pond! Hopefully it will help clear the water. Does it help keep any weeds from growing since the water has some movement? Got to wonder if the fish are going to benefit from the system as well. Keep the videos coming. Great to see progress on your projects. Cheers.

With all that air in the pond. You won't have blue gills no more but red gills 😂
I'm not sure how you'd do it, but I think you should of come up with a way to ensure that the diffusers aren't laying on their sides or upside down. I'd also suggest that the rolls of hose should have been put on an axle or turntable to eliminate the coils that I saw going into the water. Then the hoses would lay flat on the bottom.

I'm sure this question has been answered already. With the "livingwateraeration system," how do you know it settled with the air diffusers pointing up from the bottom? I'm assuming with the air diffusers pointing down it would kit up the bottom keeping the pond muddy. Great to see your accomplishments. Stay safe, God Bless.
Have you ever consider using a blue water dye,i have seen other pond owners use it. Looks nice better than the brown,but you still have the GREATEST pond and property i have seen,really enjoying watching your home build❤❤

I also suspect that these end pieces are upside down. Then it may even be counterproductive, because the air continuously works up the clay soil.

Hi Geoff make sure those hoses are completely covered. The UV from the sun will eventually destroy them. And the island is a bad place for the telescope. Unless you replace the Titanic and get a more sea worthy craft. lol. And if Dog Dog is not on camera the video is not complete.

How can you tell if the aerator has landed the right way up? I only ask as theoretically it would still produce bubbles at the surface no matter how it landed, yet if it landed upside down, it could also be eroding a hole in the bottom. Probably a simple answer to it but got me wondering.

The design would make it pretty difficult. The plate is heavy and the diffusers act like a parachute.
