This is the cream on top from watching one of Chris's pond refurbishment series.
Getting to see how it ends up after all that hard work he put into it even with an under the weather period added in when he was not feeling good.
That pond ended up a masterpiece of beauty.
Chris is a machine when it's time to hit the grindstone.
His customer had to have been estatically tickled pink with joy how it turned out.
Thanks Chris for posting this one.
By the way Chris, I love that flyover and the music selection.

Probably one of the best transformation jobs you've done on the channel that I recall, anyhow. Looks 1000% better, especially in the head section and getting rid of all the swampy, dead material up there.
And seeing Winston is a bonus. We had dalmatians growing up, so, always got a soft spot for them.

Oh wow Chris, how good does that look!!! This pond needed a lot of TLC, so much crap at the head end. Watching the initial drone footage reminded me how bad the condition of the dam had gotten. There was a couple of parts that just seemed really unstable, like big holes on the back side. Now, the dam is stable & strong, & the whole pond is aesthetically pleasing😊 Excellent job mate. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰

  • @MrLargePig

Thanks for showing us the final results! I expect you know, thousands of small dams, many of them on private property, are coming to the end of their lives. Some weren't built right, some are overloaded, and some are just plain old. In Virginia, we've had a couple dam failures, in the past few years, and people have died as a result. Maybe you ought to specialize in dam repair? Not just because they're fun to watch (though they are) but it seems like there's a real need. Widening this dam, and putting in new overflow and spillway, gives me confidence that this one will last a while. Well done.

I 75 this year, live in Canada and have fished since I was seven years old. This pond creation is awe inspiring. The fishing possibilities are massive. Obviously you have the financial resources to make this dream pond a " Utopian Fisherman's Paradise ". If you need to recoup any money ?, this pond would pay for itself by allowing fishermen to pay to catch and release fish. Maybe put a small log cabin by the wooded area and sleep there by this amazing man made Heaven . Thanks for sharing your vision with utube and everyone.🇨🇦🇨🇦👍👍

Awesome work, Chris! Love the style of riser you used and really love the dia. pipe you used on the horizontal section. Seems like the bigger pipe the less force at exit and the less erosion control necessary. Mine is about 2 acres bigger but has a slightly smaller horizontal pipe. It shoots out full force. Riprap everywhere at the discharge. I don’t like it near as much as what you’ve done here. Anyway, love watching your work 👍.
