As someone that is reading the books: 0:36 is factually untrue, loving what they are doing thus far, aslo every name for each node is on the same format of the chapters of the book and chapter 1 is referenced directly on 7-1

I have a nagging suspicion they are not just borrowing from the book, but also from the 'Man Of La Mancha' play/musical/film. Given how Don Quixote's epigraph was "to reach the unreachable star" and her lance is called "impossible dream", both from that play, and she's literally having her (delusions of) backstory delivered to us via a play, like how 'Man Of La Mancha' had a play within the play...

I really like the way it adapts the book so far.
Instead of just going “Don is crazy for no reason” they give Don an actual reason to be how she is and thus it becomes a lot more psychological with her literally rewriting and repressing her memories to make it seem like she is always the hero.
As a book fan, I'm just happy that Sanson was the blue guy.

From the technical standpoint it's the best canto, but its part 1/2 didn't hit me as much as parts 1/2 of Chapter 5/6.
Spoilers(for whoever is in here that didn't see chapter 5/6 yet):
The fight with the first whale.
The drop where we are about to be eaten by a whale and the Ishmael's monologue drop.
The mystery of what the hell is happening with the will and all.
The drop where Heathcliff distorts and we see Carmen.
I get that Don isn't Don is kind of a neat trick, but... eh. I'd say it's still good, but slightly below chapter 5/6.
P.S. Scratch all that, part 3 of Chapter 7 was amazing.

Especially because Ive been wondering if Don actually represents Don Quixote or is closer to Sancho, someone who was swept up by Don Quixote’s madness. Especially with that conversation about the bear where I presume Don was trying to be sensible while the other person she was talking to was the one pushing her into narrative

To be fair i was a bit worried that it wouldt top canto 6. first part was good but. last canto had so much weight in part one that this one was REALLY good but barely short. Part 2 however? i can rest now. it was giving don the silly before offering her the shotgun

As someone who has read all of Don Quijote (both parts + the False Quijote) whoever complains that it's a bad adaptation has probably not actually read the book

7-18 is so peak I stole Welvader's original idea of it's particular slander meme and posted it on my channel.
No matter what they do with future Cantos, 7-18 will always be the best node in the game
I mean, so long so good, but I got a feel that they lose some part and canto feels not as much catching as previous. Maybe "spoiler" of Don secret make it less intrigue
there will never be a best canto in limbus company until we get the end of limbus company, because all cantos in limbus company are peak for their own reasons..... except cantos 1 and 2 but those are early on in the game so it dont matter

Not a very high bar. The books have always been better and so far Limbus Company failed to do any of them actual justice. I'm yet to see one that can contest with its source material. It's certainly better than "Fate" and similar slob that spits on the source material and tries to turn it into a cheap digital prostitute, but again, that's not a very high bar.
