I don’t know why this video doesn’t get that much traffic! Pun intended. A very thorough and reasonable explanation, with a complete and detailed information. While the results are unsprisingly vary between each lines, this video clearly shows how expansive public transit in Jakarta is. Would love to see the derivatives of each lines, e.g 6A, 6B, 6H, 6U and 6V that are completely in their own world in terms of reliability, headways, comfort, etc. Overall a well done video, man!

Thank you, and yes I have plans on making a "non BRT" and "Cross corridor BRT" lines tier list video.
Non BRT one would probably be multiple videos due to how many lines there are.

Honest opinion... Penilaianmu udah well reasoned and exactly got the point.
Koridor 7 selepas PGC udah pasrah aja. Area Kramat Jati sesuai namanya, bener2 Keramat akan kemacetannya. Misal Walkot Jaktim sama TJ mau kolaborasi, bisa aja bangun jalur bawah tanah khusus busway biar lebih cepet headwaynya. Also, the buses are sucks. Udah gapernah dapet MYS setidaknya gitu buat Koridor 7 nya. Semua jadi PPD single yg udah kriat kriet. Kadang supirnya juga ga nyantuy bawanya.
Koridor 8 mix-feeling.
Also Shelter akhir TJ Priok itu ga proper.
Awal rilis Tj Priok sampe Pluit, tapi kmudian dipotong jdi Penjaringan Sunter Gading. Lalu diubah lgi ke rute awal 😅
Koridor 13 belom pernah nyoba sampe Ciledug, terakhir turun di sebelum Adam Malik. Tapi memang... Sangat nyaman ini koridor sebelum masuk Tangerang. Minus pemandangan yaa atap gedung-gedung
If I could give you a suggestion, next why wouldn't you rate each koridor First and Last Shelter or even Terminus. This could help someone who accidentally take their ride until the end.

Parah banget. Gua kadang-kadang pilih turun di Pondok Indah 2 terus muter-muter di PIM selama 1 jam cuma buat nunggu rush hour kelar. Kadang2 ngerasa aneh cuma muter-muter di mall gak beli apa-apa. Depan Gandaria City sampai Kebayoran Lama Bungur itu juga parah. Itu underpass panjang selalu macet kalo sore. Capek juga bagian situ. Sisanya gua pikir oke2 aja.
Gak begitu banyak masalah. Mungkin karena gak lagi rush hour.
Koridor 12: Cukup sering pakai juga. Ini koridor paling aneh menurut gua. Koridor lain itu lurus kadang-kadang belok satu dua kali. Di koridor ini kayak ⬆️➡️⬇️↘️↪️⤴️↙️ (berliku-liku). Rasanya lebih kayak rute non-BRT daripada BRT. Belum lagi headway-nya yang emang lama kadang-kadang. Menurut gua ini yanh paling parah sih.

Agree with you on Corridor 9 100%. I've commuted to Cawang from Pinang Ranti and back to catch a train from Cawang Station. The traffic in the morning and afternoon are for a lack of a better word horrible, probabily the most time consuming element of my journey to campus at Margonda. Thank god next month LRT Jabodebek will be fully operational so I can skip the TJ journey all together and ride the LRT instead from Taman Mini straight to Cawang. Keep up the good work.

As someone who frequents corridor 13, ciledug raya is already narrow enough in some places that a seperate bus lane would make it infinitely worse. That's why all the non flyover stops except adam malik are off the main road, and adam malik is literal traffic hell.
Edit: they changed a lot of the stop names and adam malik is now petukangaan utara

I wanna thank you to give Line 12 an E-tier, cuz despite this line goes thru the good strategical locations, it got fewer fleets and one time I had to wait for 20 bloody minutes in a very narrow bus stop in ITC, which was nerve-wracking

By the way, more on 12 feeling like a non-BRT line, its non-BRT line 12P feels like it doesn't even exist lol (30-minute frequency, but based on personal experience sometimes you would need to wait 50 minutes, yikes)

I live near K3, and the shelter near my home literally only has one door while most of TJ buses nowdays are like 2+ doors. Another thing is despite being largely seperated from traffic, its probably the LEAST sterile out of all the other corridors. The flyover add like 30+ minutes on the rush hour. I avoid this unless extremely necessary and choose to alight in Indosiar and ride Gojek all the way home lol.

    • @shindoride
      @shindoride  Год назад +1

Update until now : As the daily user of Corridor 13 which i'm always using for going home from school starts from CSW to Velbak regularly, Sometimes Corridor 13 also has some occasional bendy bus (most likely MB / TJ but only for Regular Service until Puri Beta. Bus for Ciledug and L13E only using 2 doors). Waiting for the Cross BRT Corridor Tier List. 1 thing to mention that I'm using Corridor 13 near rush hours. Sometimes the queue short and sometimes too long. Even with the Headways, Could set up to 10 - 20 minutes.

I commute every day between PGC and Kampung Rambutan with motor bike but I can imagine those people commute with corridor 7 in a daily basis probably a disaster. The roads are narrow, the buses are quite old, and the headways are terrible as well. And no BRT is reaching Cimanggis or Akses UI making Jakarta-Bogor arthery road more even crowded.

2:20 The loop is mainly because Corridor 2 has a sizable number of one-way shelters between Pasar Senen and Monas. Senen Raya to Pecenongan are all one-way only towards Monas, while Balai Kota to Kwitang are all one-way only towards Pulo Gadung.
That being said, Balai Kota to Kwitang (excluding Gambir 2) are served by cross-corridor routes 2A, 5C, and 7F that go the opposite direction of main Corridor 2 and head towards Monas. Juanda and Pecenongan are also served by 5C and 7F although you need to transfer to main Corridor 2 at either Kwitang (for 7F) or Senen Sentral (for 5C, via skybridge to the Pasar Senen shelter) if you want to go to Pulo Gadung.
Unfortunately, RSPAD to Istiqlal (and also Gambir 2) are all small, old, single-sided shelters so there's no place in them for any route going against main Corridor 2's direction. Kwitang and Balai Kota also used to be single-sided but they've been revitalised and are now double-sided, hence the opposing-directional ability of 2A, 5C, and 7F.

Kendala?
Koridor 6: Ini koridor langganan gue kalau mau jalan-jalan.
Tetapi masih beberapa kali lewat.
Koridor 8: Gue baru tiga kali naik koridor ini. Pertama, via Roxy, November 2021. Kedua, via Tomang, April 2023. Ketiga, turun di Jelambar, tahun 2023 juga. Tidak ada masalah apapun sejauh ini.
Koridor 9: Bukan koridor langganan, tetapi setiap tahun pasti naik. Dulu, sering naik koridor ini buat turun di halte S. Parman Podomoro City (sekarang Tanjung Duren). Tidak ada masalah sejauh ini.
Koridor 10: Setiap tahun pasti naik.
Jujur, gue kasihan lihat halte Puri Beta 1. 😅
    Koridor 14: Belum pernah naik.

I think one point you missed when evaluating the busway corridors are their (perceived, at least) usefulness. Yes it's nice to have good stops or dedicated lanes, but if it goes to nowhere it shouldn't be rated so highly

    • @shindoride
      @shindoride  Год назад +2

Thanks for the feedback, il do that in future reviews. Though considering all 13 BRT corridors are pretty long, all of them are important, some maybe more than others but the difference isn't significant.
Percieved usefulness will be more useful when you get in the realm of non BRT lines since you've got both overcrowded suburban lines and short local lines that go in circles that nobody uses.

I'm a daily 9/9A/9C/7D user and I have to say that the whole MT Haryono area is a disaster. Pancoran Tugu is the most WTF station- you have a top portion and bottom portion in different directions making it confusing, and the bottom section has a double-whammy of multiple buses AND right _at_ a crossroad. It's not that "there can be delays" it's that there WILL ALWAYS BE DELAYS.
Thank god I only really need to ride to Cawang. One of these days I need to just buy a folding bike, but for now the GoStation promo makes it affordable enough for me since I can reimburse them anyways.
Btw, do you have a video on connecting transport modes between bike, folding bike, e-scooter, GoJek, etc.? I'm looking for references on those.

@@shindoride I see. I've been mainly using GoTransit's heavily discounted GoRide to-and-from station - it's not bad, but I'd prefer a more permanent solution especially as idk when they'll stop the discounts. So far I've considered:
      - Normal bicycles: can be very cheap (potential of getting a bike for starting and ending station each), very easy to maintain, very little point of failure - but requires effort to use, risks of getting stolen or getting hit by cars, and can't bring in most transports.
      - Foldable Bicycle: mostly same as above but can be folded - cons is that it's a bit more expensive, can be a hassle to bring in during rush hours, more points of failure, and less comfortable than larger normal bicycles.
      - Electric Bicycle: less effort during pedaling - but much more expensive, requires charging, more maintenance, and more risk of getting stolen.
      - e-Scooter: smaller and easier to bring in trains and busses, no need to manually pedal, easier to use on pedestrian sidewalk - even more point of failure and requires charging, also can be quite expensive while being less reliable than any categories of bicycles, may have issues with non-flat or bumpy roads.
      - Hoverboard and similar: Even smaller - but even more of the risk from above.
      - Walking: Is free and flexible - Is tiring and time-consuming.
Honestly, idk what to choose, haha.

On weekend, corridor 7 is at its finest time. The comfy MYS's bus almost dominate the entire corridor but still there is some DMR's single door Hino probably around 3-4 unit. Congestion still occured at Pasar Induk area and Kramat Jati area but its weekend! so we don't spend our 5-10 minutes just to get out from that area! Sadly, no via Tol HEK during this period
Honestly in my opinion, the shitty part of corridor 7 during weekday is the type of buses which is the *HINO'S* (well actually it has a good point, its fast! AKAP vroom vroom), and its horrid congestion caused by some old local mini bus.
Ironically, they do operate via Tol HEK on rush hour time. But when your bus gets stuck due to congestion on both road exit (UKI and HEK), you literally wasting your time as same you rode the regular one..
( i usually see the regular service bus passing by when i took the via Tol HEK and i was like "WAIT, HOW DID YOU PASS THAT HORRID CONGESTION SO EASILY WHILE WE STUCK FOR 10 MINUTES JUST TO GET OUT FROM THE HIGHWAY!?")
