I'm so blown away by TTYD remake. Like you mentioned in this video, it takes everything great about the original and refines it with quality-of-life additions. The game just looks amazing as well. It feels exactly like how I played it as a little kid years ago.
Yes but we also need to give Origami King some credit for all those good new additions. I like to see the remake as TTYD with TOK as it‘s flair. The unique battle themes and even Thinking versions of them (which I thought wouldn‘t be a thing) are awesome and they made them in the style of TOK. Some people don‘t like how full the music is in some cases but I like it all. For example they took Rougeport and made it as full as the final TOK Toad Town theme. It would have been even more amazing if they made Rougeports theme evolve with each beat Chapter like Toad Town was but guess that is asking much😅. Anyway that‘s how I see it. If they made that remake after Color Splash and not Origami King I‘m rather sure it wouldn‘t be the way it is now. That‘s also why I slightly disagree with the video putting Origami King only in 5th. For me it‘s 2nd or 3rd only behind TTYD and perhaps 64 (I don‘t count the original TTYD in rankings anymore as the remake is just straight up the better version. It differs from stuff like the Super Star Saga remake or Bowser Inside Story which lost charm or stuff like BDSP which where too stiff tunnel vision of the original. Stuff like the TTYD remake of Xenoblade Definitive Edition which take away zero of the original charm but only add and amplify it are the best remakes)
My first Paper Mario game was Super Paper Mario for the Wii. The story was so good, and we got to see how Tippi and Bleck got back together after their long search for each other. Next, I had origami king, but I lost the cartridge one month after getting the game. Then I had Color Splash for the Wii U, I have never gotten far into it, though. But then, at the beginning of this year, I played the first Paper Mario game on Switch online, Paper Mario 64. It was such a great adventure.
Super was a phenomenal experience. I really enjoyed my time with it. Glad to hear you’ve had a good experience though overall with your Paper Mario journey!
Everyone in the community agrees on the story. Most of the fanbase prefers the classic gameplay. Same writer director for all 3 though. I started on Thousand Year Door, wii is where I went back to play n64 first. Play it on switch too and wii multiple times
@Inferno65 I mean it makes sense. The wii era introduce a lot of new Fans to Nintendo. Post early wii the game has been almost impossible to get ahold of unless you want to pay triple value
Super Paper Mario is probably my #1, as it was the first one I really played fully, and it was a game I had wanted for years as a child. I love the Platforming and the story, it's a special game for me. All being said, I love nearly every game with the exception of Sticker Star, which I still have a tiny bit of Nostalgia for, since it was the first one I played. And I'm so happy to see Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door return for it's 20th Anniversary, and being better than ever!
@@Swiftjar I am! They've really upgraded the action commands and made them much better! This is the perfect version of one of the best games I ever played on the GameCube!
I finished the TTYD Remake yesterday and i never played that game before so it was all new to me and my GOD i was so blown away. I think chapter 3 was in my opinion one of the best Chapters Worlds whatever from any Mario game i've ever played. The game has such a good writing, such good ideas and it all blends so well with some really spectacular plot twists (Looking at you chapter 4) that i've NEVER seen from Nintendo. I geniuenly understand where all the hype comes from because the game DOES hold itself up even to this day and now i too hope this remake sells well and they go more into this style of Paper Mario games because it was just a wildride i don't wanna have lost in the time.
I've tried out Color Splash at the beginning of this year and i've really enjoyed most of it, it was an underrated gem i'll be excited to get TTYD remake for my birthday next month
My favorite part about the remake is seeing how much new players are enjoying it. It really reassures veteran players that ttyd story telling and gaming structure is still relevant.
Call it hyperbole, call it right place/right time - I honestly don't know. But as a 32 year old man playing his first Paper Mario game ever.. I'm absolutely loving TTYD. I genuinely can't put it down. The characters, dialogue, environments, atmosphere, the constant action or drama happening., and the grandiose adventure that you can just feel in the air - all of this is captured in this game. I forget I'm playing yet another turn based RPG, and feel more so that I'm really part of this epic quest. I highly recommend any Nintendo fan to pick this one up - it really wasn't on my radar at all, but I'm so glad I grabbed it! Awesome video Swift, keep the content coming mate! ❤❤
Phenomenal Chris! Glad to hear you're enjoying it. The experience is simply, fantastic. I highly recommend Paper Mario 64 next.. You can play it on the Switch.. Then if you have time, give Origami King a go and see how you like it compared to those two!
It’s the best of them all no bias lol but it was my first and only paper Mario game, I played it for the first time when I was like 8 and beat it and haven’t touched it ever since I’m now 23 playing the remake and like you can’t put it down, for the second time lol
I loved what Color Splash did with the Koopalings! It makes me hope the next iteration not only redesigns them and expands on their personalities and the unique boss fight!
My personal favorite is Paper Mario The Origami King, but after playing the Thousand Year Door remake, its definitely a close second to being my favorite
@@WenegadegamerFr, people hate it because of the battles but imo the battles and bosses stuff just make the game better and exploring and the adventure in this game is so good, hella underrated origami king
7: Sticker Star 6: Color Splash 5: Super Paper Mario 4: Paper Mario 64 3: Thousand Year Door 2: Thousand Year Door HD 1: The Origami King It was close, but after careful consideration I still like the Origami King more than the TTYD remake, still a fantastic game though! While I mostly agree with your opinion on the origami king character designs, Bobby’s generic design is part of his character. He is an assembly line massed produced bob-omb that are sent to their deaths by the millions. His design shows that he is just a nameless faceless soldier, his decision to save Olivia came from a desire to fulfill his duty as a soldier and that is why his character works so well.
Me when I was 8 just loved Color Splash. I completed it at 100% 2 times, it’s so underrated. Just because of the cards doesn’t mean it’s bad. I mean it’s paper mario. Some might argue that the firsts paper mario games were more like rpg battles, but it will never be close to real rpg like persona. It’s meant to be casual. I also played Origami King a few years ago (Loved it completed it 3 times) and I started playing TTYD on switch, I not far yet. I got the chance as a kid to try it a bit on a game cube, but never got far into it.
Paper Mario 64 will always be the best for those who knew it back it the day. My favorite is the TTYD but having played the paper mario for the n64, the OG paper mario game is a very close 2nd to me. Both the OG and TTYD are incredible games hands down though
My favourites are The Thousand-Year Door and Colour Splash. Two games from two completely different eras. Both of these games are masterpieces in my eyes because of completely different reasons. Stuff like Thousand-Year Door's Battle System, Unique Characters and Story Telling or Colour Splash's Funny Writing, Fantastic Music and Amazing Graphics.
I'd switch the OG Paper Mario and TTYD IMO in terms of how much fun I had with the original games. But the remake removed most of the objective flaws I had with the gamecube version while doubling down on the improvements that made it the perfect formula. I do think the OG Paper Mario is the best music wise, but Prince Mush is my new favorite superboss in the entire Paper Mario franchise. Even surpassing The Master from the OG Paper Mario.
I guess the reason why people may pick 64 over TTYD is because the badge system is more balanced than TTYD. Because the BP is hard capped at 30, the player can't be all powerful all the time; they *have* to make some sacrifices in their badge slots.
Ranking all Paper Mario games. ⚠️, this will sound controversial. B- Tier: 6. Super Paper Mario B+ Tier: 5. Paper Mario 64 A- Tier: 4. The Thousand Year Door (+ HD) A+ Tier: 3. Stick Star 2. Color Splash S Tier: 1. Origami King
For me, it probably goes like this: TTYD Remake > TTYD = SPM > TOK > PM64 > CS > SS. For the longest time, TTYD and SPM always switched for me for being my favorite PM game, with OK being so close. But the Remake really blew me out of the water with it's additions and quality of life where it has to be my new favorite PM game. Now, CS and SS I really don't enjoy that much, but I can at least give CS a bit of appreciation (sorry SS). Now, PM64 being the og has to be recognized, but I feel some of the later installments just performs so much better overall. Kudos to starting the series though.
My ranking (not including paper jam and combining the original TTYD and new TTYD) #6 sticker star. yeah duh #5 color splash. it’s a lot better than sticker star and has a lot of charming and unique aspects, but it’s still just ok. It’s pretty much a better sticker star though. #4 origami king. I actually really enjoyed this, but I just like the others more. The top 3 I still never really decided on. I keep going back and forth on which one is my favorite and which is second and third. All three of these games are some of my favorite ever, but here is how I’m feeling right now. I am also VERY nostalgia driven by paper Mario 64. *HOT TAKES INCOMING* #3 The Thousand Year Door. Okay, yeah, this is not a common opinion but TTYD is not as good as paper Mario 64 and super paper Mario. I LOVE this game, but it just doesn’t hit quite as hard as the other two for me. The music is honestly the worst out of the first 3 paper Mario games (it’s still good though) In my opinion too. I don’t really know exactly what it is about TTYD but it just doesn’t work as well as it does for others for me. From an objective standpoint I can see why people say it’s the best, but I just don’t like it as much. #2 paper Mario 64. OH MY GOD I love this game. Not only is it easily the most nostalgic game for me but it just has so much charm to it. I could probably sing the entire soundtrack of this game from memory. Everything about this game (except for chapter six) is so good and I play through it every summer. Despite playing through the game at least 7 times though, it never gets old. I can’t express how much I love this game. Seriously, the music is maximum nostalgia. #1 super paper Mario. The fact that I love the original paper Mario so much and still put this higher really says something. The story is wonderful, the visuals are nice, DIMENTIO IS SO FRICKING COOL, I just love everything about it. It’s fun to Speedrun, fun to watch, fun to play casually, fun to do challenges on, it’s the best game in the Mario series for me. It’s also my second favorite game ever, right above paper Mario 64 and below Celeste. I keep going back and forth between if this is better or worse than paper Mario 64, but right now I feel like I like it more.
Super paper mario is great, but there is absolut no paper in it and most of the time it’s a 2d game. Should be called pixel mario and be it own series.
Great video , I was a child when paper Mario 64 first released. I found this video well organized with many details about each of the games . I just subscribed, keep up the great work
After my time with the original Paper Mario 64. I had awesome time with the TTYD. I avoided some spoilers because I want to play the game blindly. I love the variety of different characters, is what the modern Paper Mario need after watching Chuggaaconroy's Sticker Star videos. The music is on the same level as PM64, amazing. The battle gameplay is very nice, just like N64, but with additional features. I mostly grew up with the Mario and Luigi series. So far I enjoyed it alot
The answer will always be "The Thousand-year Door". A million years from now, if they make 10,000 more Paper Mario games, this will still be the best one.
I knew what you were gonna rank Paper Mario Sticker Star, and I was right, which doesn't surprise me, but damn, Sticker Star did not appeal many people compared to the other Paper Mario games.
Origami King will probably always be my favorite, but I have difficulty describing just how amazing TTYD has become with the new version. It feels like a beautiful mashup of the OG game and the newer games’ charm, and I’ve been blown away.
I specified I really enjoy it! I just don't like it AS much as the Original Trio.. However, it's still good.. Just don't like the Battle System, The Bosses and the MILLION Toads/Generic NPCs. The Worlds and Dialogue though are phenomenal.. And partners, were SO close.
I mean, I agree with the list mostly, I’d personally switch origami king and super, but a ranking list for the paper Mario series is kinda hard to keep intriguing, as basically everyone has the same views online: sticker star is shit, color splash is written really well but is not too much better, origami king is a good game, super is underrated as hell (I disagree, but whatever), 64 is old, sure, but one of the best experiences on the N64, and TTYD is a masterpiece of a game, and likely one of the best ever made. I’m not trying to be a hater, I just had to point this out.
Personally, my fav is Color Splash. The graphics, music, and even the gameplay are WILD, and in a good way. Honestly way too underrated and imo, so much better than TTYD.
I love them all 😊 except sticker star which I haven’t played but I’d be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I truly truly love Super though, but TTYD and TOK are both incredible
Thats crazy that not only is this another TTYD praise video but they separated 2 games that are the same to praise it even more. Always love the free thinkers of the gaming community
I mean the ordering is pretty consistent with most of the fanbase. There are exceptions but is consistent with most. Both me personally and most Paper Mario fans Thousand Year Door Switch Thousand Year Door N64 Super ToK CS SS.
I am going to be honest, I'll give Color Splash 1st place, it's just the Paper Mario game that I really get into and play for hours. Well it's probably because of the exploring part but I really like it. #2 is really hard but it's either Super Paper Mario or maybe Origami King.
Hopefully the next paper Mario can be similar to the thousand year door and get rid of the weird origami king fighting mechanics. Go back to standard rpg fighting.
It’s sad that colour splash has so much potential to be AMAZING but some of the design choices are just baffling. It almost felt like it wasn’t test played. despite all the flaws there’s still a lot to love about it.
I just knew TTYD was gonna win, but I'm shocked Orgimi King wasn't listed higher.. That game was STUNNING with its visuals, and actually had a really good narrative.
I played both the original and remake of Super Mario RPG and I loved it. One of my favorite games but I'm told TTYD is even better but I never played the original. I'm very much looking forward to jumping in the game this week.
Love how you rank the games but give actual arguments, I'm tired of people saying "the news ones are bad because its not like the old ones !" Yoy just gained a sub !
Thanks so much!!! Really appreciate this. I enjoy them all.. But I just prefer some to others and explained why! I'm glad you liked it. I have more videos like this for other Series soon... In particular Mario & Luigi after Brothership comes out.
I play the first paper Mario cause my brother grew up with the n64 and I played the original thousand year door and I play the sticker star which I enjoy playing and then I play the remix thousand year door
I find it incredibly interesting that Thousand Year Door came out this early in the year. Makes me wonder whether the rumors of a new Nintendo console launching in November may not be true. Because if those rumors ARE true why release the game now? Why not save it and release it as a launch title for the new console?
I've played paper mario 64 on switch 64 app and wanted to replay thousand year door since it's been so long . While i was in japan i was looking at games for my flight back and noticed it without realising it was released either that day or the day before .
I’ll be honest, my favorite is Sticker Star, but It was the one I grew up with and I just have so much nostalgia with to be honest. But Havign played all the other ones and playing through TTYD right now, all of them are great and have their perks
Kind unrelated, but bowser himself was only the main villain in 1 game 64:main villain TTYD:shadow queen and x-nauts SPM:Dimentio and count bleck Sticker star:Was possessed Color splash:was possessed…..again Origami king:ollie
I have played all of the paper Mario except the first two. I’m not a fan of super paper Mario. The story is really good, but I just find the gameplay boring. Sticker star I understand why people hate but I think it’s alright. Color splash I love but it has some really annoying unnecessary problems that hold it back and origami king is the same thing although I don’t like it as much as color splash. Also origami king has an absolutely awful ending
I was thinking about this last night... How good would a spin off game be where you're doing Luigi's Adventure.. Then going back to Rogueport all for Mario to fall asleep listening.. Ha ha.
The newer more modern paper mario titles are enjoyable to a good degree. Its just hard to enjoy them if you really compare them to the earlier entries in the series. I just want turn based single combat, partners, and a nice large explorable world. I was not a big fan of the spinning type of combat in color splash and oragami king
Sticker Star was my first, and only paper Mario game i played...and I absolutely loved it, and it's why I'm here 🤣 I wanna try more but now idk if I will like them since I liked the worst one's game play lol😅
The main problem with sticker star is after the woods and chase for wigglers body parts it just felt rushed. I do have to ady I did love colour splash though
@@Swiftjar might revisit Paper Mario. I might be a little biased just because it’s a fresh coat of paint on RPG and that’s why I’m fanboying. But Paper Mario from what I remember was still SOLID as a rock.
TTYD is definitely the best. I absolutely loved color splash just because of the paint stars lol but still a bad game. Origami king is my 2nd favorite for alot of reasons I won't name.
I have to rank them near the same, but putting Origami King at 7, only because by the point it came out, I figured Paper Mario wasn’t ever going to be designed how I wanted it to be, so I never played it. Watched it played, and it does look good, but it’s really dragged down by the battle system and lack of unique characters for me in terms of wanting to play it or not.
I don’t understand why people are calling Vivian trans, Nintendo never confirmed it, y’all just twisting and under thinking her dialogue, it just sounds more like it conformed she’s a girl and not a boy, due to speculation.
Haha! It all makes sense! I loved my Nintendo and GameCube growing up! Wouldn’t have wanted it anyway.. Admittedly I did get an Xbox 360 when I was 11 though!

Ranking all Paper Mario games. ⚠️, this will sound controversial.
B- Tier:
6. Super Paper Mario
B+ Tier:
5. Paper Mario 64
A- Tier:
4. The Thousand Year Door (+ HD)
A+ Tier:
3. Stick Star
2. Color Splash
S Tier:
1. Origami King
Yes I LOVED STICKER STAR!!!
Hella W, origami king underrated
My ranking (not including paper jam and combining the original TTYD and new TTYD)
#6 sticker star. yeah duh
#5 color splash. it’s a lot better than sticker star and has a lot of charming and unique aspects, but it’s still just ok.
*HOT TAKES INCOMING*
#3 The Thousand Year Door.
Great reasonings my friend! Super at #1 is awesome. It’s such a good game, which you could probably tell how much I liked it from the vid!
Super paper mario is great, but there is absolut no paper in it and most of the time it’s a 2d game. Should be called pixel mario and be it own series.
I’ve played 3 paper Mario games, 64, Thousand year door and super paper Mario. Top 3 in that order. I hope they make a new one soon.
Great video , I was a child when paper Mario 64 first released. I found this video well organized with many details about each of the games . I just subscribed, keep up the great work
Thanks mate! Really appreciate it.. Took a while to get it to this point, but I'm glad the execution came across nicely. :)
I really enjoy the TTYD Remake. I'm so glad to have the experience with it, since I heard many good things about TTYD
Heck yeah! How are you enjoying it so far?
After my time with the original Paper Mario 64. I had awesome time with the TTYD. I avoided some spoilers because I want to play the game blindly. I love the variety of different characters, is what the modern Paper Mario need after watching Chuggaaconroy's Sticker Star videos. The music is on the same level as PM64, amazing.
The battle gameplay is very nice, just like N64, but with additional features. I mostly grew up with the Mario and Luigi series. So far I enjoyed it alot
Stickerstar and Color Splash are my both favorites but I 100% understand why you dislike both of them.
The answer will always be "The Thousand-year Door". A million years from now, if they make 10,000 more Paper Mario games, this will still be the best one.
I agree! But... I'd love to be proved wrong ;)
@@Swiftjar Why the Hell would you want to be proved wrong? This was the best thing to come out of the series. We should just embrace it.
Thousand Year Door is so good, it's first place twice.
Color Splash is underatted in my opinion
The first Paper Mario for the 64 will always be my personal favorite. The levels, story, designs, and music were all SO good!!
Musicc
TTYD remake is legit my game of the year. 😂
It is up there for me to
I knew what you were gonna rank Paper Mario Sticker Star, and I was right, which doesn't surprise me, but damn, Sticker Star did not appeal many people compared to the other Paper Mario games.
Origami King will probably always be my favorite, but I have difficulty describing just how amazing TTYD has become with the new version. It feels like a beautiful mashup of the OG game and the newer games’ charm, and I’ve been blown away.
Thanks for sharing! Origami King for sure had it’s amazing moments for me to
I hate how many peoples underrate Origami King
I specified I really enjoy it! I just don't like it AS much as the Original Trio.. However, it's still good.. Just don't like the Battle System, The Bosses and the MILLION Toads/Generic NPCs. The Worlds and Dialogue though are phenomenal.. And partners, were SO close.
game is thrash, the only thing I liked was the graphics and finding toad. the boss battles were boring and repetive
It's good, But it just can't compete with Thousand Year, Or my personal favorite...
Imagine having a level design that is just a corridor
@@Polmo1997 I'm sure that's Origami King. Most levels, while not corridors, are just big empty places to walk over.
I’m not trying to be a hater, I just had to point this out.
agree
For me it's 1. TTYD, 2. Super, 3. Original, 4. Origami King, 5. Colour Splash and 6. Sticker Star.
Both me personally and most Paper Mario fans
Thousand Year Door Switch
Thousand Year Door
N64
Super
ToK
CS
SS.
I am going to be honest, I'll give Color Splash 1st place, it's just the Paper Mario game that I really get into and play for hours. Well it's probably because of the exploring part but I really like it.
#2 is really hard but it's either Super Paper Mario or maybe Origami King.
Glad you enjoyed those ones the most!
I don't think I'll ever love a game the way I love Super Paper Mario but TTYD is pretty good too
Another Swiftjar vid! Let’s a go!
Thanks mate! Appreciate your watching and supporting!!
64 is my fav and I honestly think it shoulda got the remake. So many amazing quality of life improvements ttyd
Paper Mario 64 is fantastic. I am REALLY hoping it eventually gets remade. It deserves it.
Ngl, I think I would switch Paper Mario 64 and Super Paper Mario
Not gonna lie, Color Splash’s writing was the most charismatic we’ve ever seen
It was very well written!
yeehaw
It’s sad how much I forgot what was in TTYD playing it again 20 years later. Still an excellent game.
Hopefully the next paper Mario can be similar to the thousand year door and get rid of the weird origami king fighting mechanics. Go back to standard rpg fighting.
As soon as I started the video I already new the ranking of everything on the list. Kinda weird how that works
ha ha! Can you tell me the lottery numbers?!
It’s sad that colour splash has so much potential to be AMAZING but some of the design choices are just baffling. It almost felt like it wasn’t test played. despite all the flaws there’s still a lot to love about it.
Completely agree!!! So much potential, poor execution :(
First time playing and Im on chapter 7 I already started missing the game I don’t want it to end 😭
You should watch my chapters ranking once you’re done for a trip down memory lane 🥺🥺🥺
@@Swiftjar I just clicked on it but I’ll watch it once I’m done with the game 😭
@@moongaming2778 absoloutely! Certainly wait as it has spoilers!!!
Amazing list! I just beat TTYD last night so this was a fun video to watch!
i enjoyed Oragami king except when i had to battle. the tiles you have to arrange was frustrating af and i struggled so much on it and with bosses 😑
agree i like swifts ranking i think he explained that part well
Earned yourself a sub, mate! Great stuff!
@@PeytStrick thanks legend! Really appreciate it!!
I’ll be having some RPG videos like this soon for brothership!
@@Swiftjar awesome!
I just knew TTYD was gonna win, but I'm shocked Orgimi King wasn't listed higher.. That game was STUNNING with its visuals, and actually had a really good narrative.
Tough competition!!
I played both the original and remake of Super Mario RPG and I loved it. One of my favorite games but I'm told TTYD is even better but I never played the original.
I'm very much looking forward to jumping in the game this week.
Hell yeah! You're in for an amazing experience. I really loved Super Mario RPG's remake as well. Enjoy!!
Thousand Year Door is that good it took the top 2 spots.
Damn right!
My ranking
1. PM TTYD (Switch)
2. PM TTYD (Game Cube)
3. PM 64
4. PM TOK
5. SPM
6. PM SS
7. PM CS
It’ll launch next year
My first paper Mario was the wii which was great. I also am surprised the 3ds Mario and lungi paper jams wasn't here.
TTYD still the BEST 😎🗿🔝
Am I the only one who still likes origami king the best?
No!!! There’s a fair few
Kind unrelated, but bowser himself was only the main villain in 1 game
64:main villain
TTYD:shadow queen and x-nauts
SPM:Dimentio and count bleck
Sticker star:Was possessed
Color splash:was possessed…..again
Origami king:ollie
A long video from the Swift!
Tried to get all the thoughts onto “Paper”!
I love all of these games, Sticker star is so nostalgic for me, the soundtrack is amazing
What a surprise SS is last
🤷♀️
The top three being the first three game checks out
🤝
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love Retro Mario Games !
Thanks so much legend! Really appreciated
I thought the ending of origami king was pretty good imo
Isnt funny how they wrote an entire extra campaign for Luigi? That is never experience in TTYD?
I was thinking about this last night... How good would a spin off game be where you're doing Luigi's Adventure.. Then going back to Rogueport all for Mario to fall asleep listening.. Ha ha.
The GOAT is back!
You’re the goat
I had a feeling you would put Ttyd remake as the best paper Mario game out of all of them.
Phenomenal game!
I tried origami king and I just couldn't get into it at all
I 100% agree, my order list is the same too! 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Right on!
Thankyou thousand year door is relly incredibly amazing
thank you for being awesome!! Appreciate this mate
While I think TTYD is better in most ways than the first one thing it does far worse imo is pacing and backtracking so much backtracking.
Sticker Star was my first, and only paper Mario game i played...and I absolutely loved it, and it's why I'm here 🤣 I wanna try more but now idk if I will like them since I liked the worst one's game play lol😅
watch his chapters ranking and u will see why its ranked bottom haha
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!! You need to try TTYD on the Switch. :)
@@Swiftjar I just bought it and will be trying it out soon!! 😬😬😬
@@juanitahassler3751hope you enjoy!!!
It's gotta be Thousand Year Door.
It's a fantastic entry, isn't it!
Hey Swiftjar do you think PM64 and SPM will get the remake treatment like TTYD you know with the Paper art style the TTYD Remake had
I really hope so! I hope we get a new Paper Mario Game first like the originals though!
@@Swiftjar me too
God damn it, Chugga would've loved this...
😞
What happened to him?
@@nekonomicon2983 Search up Chuggaaconroy and Lady Emily allegations
Origami king hella underrated, should get more love
The main problem with sticker star is after the woods and chase for wigglers body parts it just felt rushed. I do have to ady I did love colour splash though
I agree Sorcha! Thanks so much for watching btw to. Appreciate it
I gotta say out of all the RPG Mario games I would say my top 3 is Paper Mario TTYD (OG or remake) Super Mario RPG (remake) and Paper Mario
Disclaimer: I have never played Super Paper Mario. I have heard so many good things about it.
Great choices! Super Mario RPG is fantastic. I personally prefer Paper Mario 64 and TTYD though
@@Swiftjar might revisit Paper Mario. I might be a little biased just because it’s a fresh coat of paint on RPG and that’s why I’m fanboying. But Paper Mario from what I remember was still SOLID as a rock.
We need to have a remake of super paper mario
I would be DOWN. I’d prefer Paper Mario 64 first tho
I don’t understand why Vivian being T is a big deal it doesn’t change the story or gameplay at all
i agree with this list , the remake def makes top 1 now
Respect!
TTYD is definitely the best. I absolutely loved color splash just because of the paint stars lol but still a bad game.
Origami king is my 2nd favorite for alot of reasons I won't name.
The first paper mario I played was Sticker Star and I really like it
Thousand door is the best one. No bullshits like collecting main wespon stickers around the area and the companions are great.
Let’s be honest, since it was the cheapest at $99 - I too was a GameCube kid
Haha! It all makes sense! I loved my Nintendo and GameCube growing up! Wouldn’t have wanted it anyway.. Admittedly I did get an Xbox 360 when I was 11 though!
Fun fact: the GameCube is the most powerful console of its generation 😎👊🏻🔝
