I love being at the Lego store and release day because it feels like almost like a holiday for everyone there
the penrith store got hardly any of the battle packs id say about 10 and around 7 of the nissan on tuesday when the store opened for the shelf stock as they filled online orders before opening the doors

I'm so excited for Bricks and Pieces to start accepting Standard orders again!! I really want to order some of the new Friends pieces, and maybe some City animals - so long as the prices aren't ridiculous!!

Went yesterday and couldn’t resist picking up the Lions Knight Castle. Also grabbed a couple minifigure packs and the blacktron spaceship

Happy new year! My haul is gonna be small as well. Mostly bam,pab,cmf waiting for sales or gwp that interest me. Those are both on my list as well. Great choices!

I got the tie bomber, 2 501st packs, the tusken raider, the quinjet (I don't have one yet), and the ghost rider mech (didn't have a ghost rider minifig) excited to get them in the mail.

Happy New Year Holly! I've just got back from my nearest Lego store in the UK, people were queuing from 7am for a 11am opening time. I got there at 11.15am and queued for 45 mins. There was another 10 minute queue to pay. Got what I wanted, TIE Bomber and the F&F Speed Champions. Also got a couple of Xmas sets at half-price and the Galaxy Explorer. Did not see any other new Star Wars items...
Please congrats your sister being brave enough to skydive. Congrats on the haul!

I really want some older sets which are the harry potter Clock Tower build and the Astronomy Tower (you where the first recommendation) and for star wars I want the Assault on Both Set as well as the Jedi Training on Dagobah set and the Ewok Village set. And maybe the Horizon forbidden west Home Alone and Winnie the Pooh set.

I just came back from getting the hulkbuster. I lost the 2018 one to the bin and needed a new one to go along with the 2015 ultron one

I am content with my Galaxy Explorer for my nostalgia spaceship so although Blacktron promo was tempting I am also holding back this year for really good discounts and promos.😅
Apparently people from the Orthodox Church only celebrate Christmas on the 7th of January so you could always claim you're from the orthodox church and build it now anyway. It's not like anyone will check 🤣

My store haul was even smaller (Didnt happen at all cause the stock comes in on 2nd Jan for some reason)
Wish we had a Lego store here as I have to order online and wait for them to arrive. I am now very hesitant about buying parting out or second hand sets because the last one I bought end up having to many fake or non genuine lego bricks, what is your thought 💭 on non genuine lego bricks from other companies. I personally don’t like them or want them mixed with my lego collection. I have try to replace the bricks with genuine lego but there are a lot of bricks no longer available.

Holly. As usual got to agree with you that there are a couple of Lego City vehicles that are way overpriced. They seem to follow that theme like the Pizza truck a few years ago but they have gone up way too much.

I actually agree with you on not liking the new Disney Princess minidoll eyes, maybe I'm just used to the ones we've had for so many years and the new design just feels jarring. The monkeys Classic set is so cute.
I got the Quinjet i really wanted that Loki minifig while everyone was counting down the new year and watching fireworks i was on the Lego website buying Lego lol

I'm in western Canada so lego updated its new releases at about 10pm PST. Managed to make an order well before fireworks time 😄

No, you do earn extra vouchers even on the transactions that you use them on. At least that's the way it works in the stores in Melbourne. Also, it's a $7.50 saving earned for every $150 spent - it's essentially a 5% discount.

Yo, were they selling blacktron cruisers right off the shelf at 10:01?? Or is that just the spot where they keep them for GWP? Never been to a lego store before, but always figured they'd keep those in the back and just hand them to you when you cash out.

Usually I find they get new sets online around 3-5 days after the release though from memory last year I think they showed up a bit later. Amazon has a few listed so far but they don't seem to be in stock for shipping just yet

501st I need to go with other star wars battle pack I not opened.i fount same one to sale me 501baffld pack. 65..I don't whant to blow $200 to get the black Tron jet but I so whant it. At lest I only need the Ninjago box brick storidge set. Ice dragoon earth dragon water Dragon cole s dragon. Two train s still. Few of the new city set I Shaw be getting. The electric car charging station with house new set sounds good.
