I appreciate the honest review of living the boosted life. It can be a cycle of doing some pulls, chasing boost leaks, rinse, repeat. Hope you get the sputtering figured out.. I have no idea what it could be, my only idea is checking all the piping for leaks/damage

Freshkiiks you need a fuel damper on the fuel rail . These cars don’t like open fuel rail . Look up CJM Motorsports . They make a fuel rail with on board dampers . That’s your fuel problem . Thank me later .

Hope you replaced that intake manifold gasket. They can't be reused. VQ's will start having misfiring issues, and sputtering if the crush seal isn't replaced. I'd almost bet that's your issue if you didn't.

And what’s your spark plug gap?? Sounds as if the spark is being blow out
He checked and re plugged the spark plugs and if it were the coil packs he would get a CEL.

My guess is the fuel pump. The sputtering is happening because the fuel pump can’t deliver the amount of fuel you need lol all that boost
Roy Gonzalez owner just said he has 3 pumps with a surge tank, built for over 1200hp only running like 50%. Fuel is fine

i wouldnt say all high horsepower builds are a hassle, some just have more issues than other based on the platform. i know tons of daily driven 700-800 hp mustangs that just about have no issues

Well here is a perfect example of why u should't care about dyno numbers and just compare to other cars on the street. It's nice to have a WHP number for the car but still it's all about how the car makes u feel not just the power number.

Sounds like an ignition issue on your sputtering. What’s the gap on your plugs? Try lowering it. As you raise boost, spark is harder to maintain.

That sputtering on the top end could be a few things to include a bad tune. For your 370Z, what does the logs show happening when it is sputtering? Looking there should point you to the problem.
What tires are those on the rear? I was gonna get r888 but yea what are those haha

The more boost you add the smaller the sparkplug gap needs to be, my old Subaru was making around 500hp and I had to run a pretty small gap or it would sputter around 28psi, my gtr doesn't sputter at 20psi, and it makes 650whp
I know I re gapped lol. Everything people are commenting I've already done or checked. I fixed all my boost leaks today and the car isn't sputtering. One thing at a time haha

I would check fuel pressure bro. Maybe your pump is struggling to supply a constant stream of fuel to the engine at higher rpms.

Sounds like a boost leak toward the end of the video. One of your couplers might have a crack or slit in it.
Not all boosted cars have problems man. Boosted 5.0s, especially those with centrifugal Superchargers, are very reliable. You can daily 700-800whp 5.0s and have little to no issues.
I drove my z over 7 wheel for a year without one problem. I turned up the boost again and got issues..comes along with the game

I've been beating on mine at 460-500wheel for about 6 years. A little over 30k miles. I had a problem back in bragg when I was boost by gear that had a high psi sputter. At 8psi I was fine but when I went up to 18psi it would sputter like crazy. Ended up being that I blew a spark plug tip off. Engine was fine but after I replaced it, it was still an issue however the issue was a little more random. Found out in the end it was my spark plug gap. It wasnt small enough. I think I settled on 14thousanths which is what dynosty told me they gap theirs at when they tune it. The Sputter at high psi went away. Worth a shot, let me know if it fixes it for you.
