Love the Fox shocks!!
I have the Fox shocks. They are great. Thank You for the video.
Thanks for watching!
I have had those fox shocks on mine for 3 years. Great shock. Change the ride feel. It even the same bike with them.
Great vid thanks for giving the advice. I like the look of the piggyback shocks. Also a piece of my died when the bike came down
😄 same
The fox shocks on the sport Chief are amazing. You can tell the difference straight away.
Another helpful video.
Thanks man
Those shocks will be on my bobber…I just bought the Indian billet engine and stator cover that match those shocks..thanks for the instructional video! (Tool shirt 🤟🏻)
Hell yeah brother. I also want to publicly announce that if I die on the way to Sturgis, you can have my D750 and lens. If it makes it 😄
@3:42 when you dropped the bike 😂😂.
Great video brotha...... 👊
Thanks man I appreciate that 🙏🏼
FOX shocks are a major well known and respected motorcycle shock especially for dirt bikes. Looks good man.
Thanks man
Thanks
I've been thinking of upgrading to the Fox shocks. Might be my next upgrade this winter season
I'm glad I did
Great video! I'm curious to see how these would compare to the progressive 444 shocks I put on.
at 3:57 I would have had a lot stronger language and for a longer period of time. Great vid.
😂
Installed the Fox shocks on my scout a couple weeks ago and it’s a night and day difference, especially since my wife likes riding with me
How much did they run you?
@@andyc5209 after 100 bucks off from Indian, 899 plus tax.
I decided to buy fox shocks for my ISB 2020. Thanks bro. Really helpful video.
Glad to help!
Safe ride there and back rick
Thanks, bud
FOX shock are always the BEST RIDE
My buddy just got those and really likes them. I would like to see how the compare to the Super Shox I have on mine.
Hey Ricky... Great Video.... I can't think of a single item as an upgrade as WORTH IT than these Fox Adjustable Shocks. The stock Shocks are sadly JUNK.....Now I know not everyone has the $1k to spend on these...but there are mid level priced alternatives such as those piggy backs you featured. .. available at the Dealership .....but As with anything get the Best upgrades You can afford. I am fortunate and I special ordered my 22 Scout Bobber #darkvaderbobber .... with Top of the line everything except the Cowl windscreen.... Another BIG Comfort improvement I highly recommend is the COMFORT SEAT....
GREAT VIEW BTW.... I was like "WHEEEERE THE " F" his He goin' here😅!!"
I completely agree! I just did a really long trip and it definitely made it possible.
Great video. Very helpful. Hey what kind of handlebars are those? I love them!
Thanks! They are the 10" Blaze made by FMB choppers.
Can you share a link to these directly purchase these bars please?
@jamalalbreiki8228 the hadle bars?
@@RickyBobber yes sir.
@jamalalbreiki8228 ig have to dig and I'm on my way out the door but I have a video on the bars. With links
Nice view
awesome upgrade, i will try them later but my question is for the rack in the back part... like something you have to place bags! you know, one of the issues with the bobber is there is no place for bags or something to travel with. can you make a video of it? pls!!!!
I recorded a how to but they sent me the wrong bolts and couldn't finish. I grabbed some bolts from home depot and finished it off camera. Pretty simple to install but I'm talking with them right now about the design. Seems I found the maximum weight limit. I don't recommend too much weight on it. Mayne some groceries but not a big bag for travel.
Just finished CSMP class last month, and just picked up my new '23 Scout Bobber 20. Haven't ridden much yet, but it's pretty unforgiving of potholes. I'm in La Mesa, and like the rest of San Diego, the roads are crumbling. I think I'll be looking for an upgrade on the shocks sooner rather than later.
I did get the Fox shocks and the Comfort+ seat. The ride is completely different from the stock. Very comfortable and I have no problem riding all day long.
Duuuuuuuude you need to invest in a breaker bar! Makes life sooooo much easier. The scout was sleepy and wanted to lay down. Glad it was a slow drop and nothing was damaged
I am the breaker bar😄
Or if you have a floor jack laying around take the tube handle off and slip it over your socket wrench handle. Done and done.
Just bought me a 23 Bobber & negotiated Fox Shocks for the same price as the piggy backs.
Nice!
Where'd you get those mirrors!?! I've been looking for bar end mirrors with a wider field of view. Those are awesome!!!
There're Highsider brand found them on Revzilla
@@RickyBobber Thanks! That's gonna be the next thing I'm ordering, after the keyless ignition
What did you use to cover the hole left by the stock mirrors? want to install bar end mirrors but don't want to let that fill with water
I used the same bar end adapters that are stock
Who makes that rear rack and is it quick release? It looks awesome.
Its from Combustion Industries. Not quick release though
Count how many times the HD riders don't give you the 2 finger salute while riding to Sturgis on your mechanically superior Indian. You should go over that interchange bump MotoJitsu likes to go over on his Indian test rides. That'll really test the rear suspension. :)
Which one is that? I've only seen 1 or 2 of his videos
@@RickyBobber I think it's the northbound 163 to eastbound 52 ramp. If it isn't that one, it could be northbound 805 to eastbound 52. It could also be northbound 5 to eastbound 52. It's one of those three ramps! :P
BTW, did a demo thing the other day. The Chieftain Dark Horse might be my next bike if I can save enough money for one. I'm simply way too tall for any given Scout. Pursuit wasn't my thing. It's too heavy, and the one I rode had an inconsistent throttle. The friction zone felt like it was all over the place. I didn't get a chance to hop on the Sport Chief since it was very popular among the other riders. FTR1200 is also too small and the front tire feels a bit off while leaning in curves.
Nice! It's an underrated bike for sure!
My anxiety started kicking in while you were pulling the jack out like I knew something was going to happen. I just installed some 444's on my bike mainly for the bang for you buck, but I would like to know how close they compare to each other.
😄
I tried getting on with it standing straight up. That's where I f'd up
Any tips for how you measured distance between the bolts while sitting on it?
I put piece of painter tape on a measuring tape to see it while sitting on the bike. I deleted that cause the way I said it didn't make sense
What you of handlebars are those and where did you get them?
FMB choppers. Got from their website.
lmao the intro hahaha
Have you done anything to the front end?
Not yet but they recommend changing the front shocks at 25k miles I have about 4k miles to go. I have some progressive front end shocks on deck that I got on clearance at my dealership. Check out @valorcycle and his vids, he had a vid on front shocks
I recommend the piggy back shocks, it is better. I spent $1000 on the fox suspension and now I bought the piggy back, it is better and I spent $800.
Why exactly? I was just about to go get them
Did you try adjusting the stock shocks first
Yes. I did a video on how to do that a while back. Didn't help much
Anyone know what the rack is on the back?
I do! It's the Motherlode from Combustion Industries
Which bars are those?
FMB choppers, 10' Blaze mini apes
I adjusted the stock ones….then tried the FOX and honestly….the difference was not that much…..i know i will get hit by this, but….just my experience
Hmm. First I've heard of that. Maybe it's an adjustment thing?
What is your weight ?
@@MrPoliarinis 264lbs and 6’1 with shoes…
@@MrPoliarinis 180
@@bobberboss ok, so maybe its because of weigt. Because have heard tyat for heavier riders stock suspension isn't that bad
Your weight plus your luggage
Good point, but I probably shouldn't call her that in front of her.
Sir, that's a Scout Bobber, not a Grom or Supermoto
I do what I want
Its sad too see so many people homless and such an awsome city being ruined. Dont vote democrat
