Man, it has been a rough job thus far. Two weeks of terrible weather, then it’s one or two “decent” days, folllowed by massive snow storms, rain, 30-60mph winds. Today was a nice day for half of it, yesterday it snowed for half the day and was a full on blizzard for a few hours. and now we’re supposed to get 6-12” of snow starting tomorrow. I’m looking forward to finishing this job and taking a nice cushy inside project for the rest of the summer.
Glad to hear you are getting your voice back. looks like a great job and even better to have a neat little home to go back to after a hard day of work ( luxury accommodations ) I'm sure you wont get too spoiled. I always enjoy your videos thanks for sharing ( puppy is getting so big ) Id love to land a job like that on the road. As always stay safe and healthy .
Looks like a nice cabin!! I totally understand the work situation, I have been working a ton since December and I think I’m finally finished with work for a while. Now it’s finally time to hit the road!! Unfortunately fuel prices suck but what can you do? I think now that you have a good following it won’t matter what kind of videos you make, people will follow along your story. Enjoy that warm cabin 🔥
Hi. I really enjoy your channel. Keep up the great work. I have a Bigfoot camper on a srw like yours but I'm considering on getting a drw. I like the back roads and off beaten paths you take. Do you think a drw would handle them? I like the stability of a drw but afraid I won't be able to get very far with it and thinking I should stick with my srw. Your thoughts? Thank you 🙏
I've seen RUclips channels such as "trail mater" and "BSF recovery" where they take dually trucks down incredibly technical roads to recover others who are in need and have me reconsidering the capabilities of dually trucks. my primary concern previously was not being able to air down the rears much and the possibility of getting rocks stuck between the rear tires, but the more I research, I find that those problems are not very common. So...I would take a closer look at getting one myself. it would be nice to have more GAWR in the rear. thanks for watching!
@@downbytheriver501 Thanks for replying. I'll check out those two channels. For rear drw air downs... there are valve stem extensions for the 2 inner tires that extend out to the outside wheels. Safe travels and happy camping.
So glad you got your voice back! :). Excited to find out what your project is! I’ll stop complaining about the Northern MN snow now! Naw…no I won’t! There’s more on the way.
just found you... been watching your videos... you are my all time favorite and your trips are my best escape here from Florida... keep up the great work...best..DB
Loved how you got all excited with the size of your room. Keep sending whatever you can and I'll be here ready to watch. I'm hoping gas prices drop as well, they're pretty crappy up here in Ontario too. Cheers 🇨🇦
I want a snowblower like that. Looking forward to seeing the project. Many of the RUclipsrs I've been watching are bailing on travel, either due to fuel prices or just wanting a home base. Hope you're feeling better, work safe.
I want one too! Hahaha. I think this thing goes for a budget friendly $100,000 or so. Very affordable! 😂 I rented it, obviously. Diesel hit $5.45 here yesterday. It’s obscene. Thanks for watching buddy!
I always enjoy your videos, I was belly laughing with Zeda'a antics at the end! Her facial expressions and yours, absolutely hilarious! Looking forward to your next vid, whatever and whenever that is! Hope you enjoy the cabin with its extra space.
Soo good to see are looking up for ya Vic. Zeda has gotten so HUGE. Glad that your looking & sounding better as well. Shit this day in age I'm pretty sure we'll be Happy with Any vid that you post. Oh you're teasing a lot of people with yer fancy smancy snow blower. Looking forward to your next vid for a much needed mental escape. ps Hope Zeda has calmed done on her chewing. Hate to see the cabin turned into kindling & sawdust.
Thanks! The snowblower isn’t mine. I rented it. It costs a fortune even to rent. It also eats diesel to the tune of 15 gallons per mile using this blower attachment. I didn’t calculate fuel right on my bid at all so I’ll be eating that cost. It’s okay though because I always bid over in other areas in case one spot I fall short on. Zeda is completely untrustworthy right now with her chewing. I throw her in her kennel whenever I have to go anywhere that I can’t bring her.
Yeah I'll never understand why diesel costs more than Supreme gas @@downbytheriver501 . Diesel was cheaper to make & making biodiesel is even cheaper especially if you know what restaurants to (cough cough) borrow the fry oil from. Oh well the corporations win Again. Just glad to see yer ugly mug & Zeda again. Won't be long till you won't even have to close the door to the kennel
That’s one fine, very well outfitted cabin. I’d love to see your project as it develops. I’m an old Civil Engineer who still dabbles and I always enjoy seeing ours’ plans come to fruition. Focus on the project and we’ll be here, when you can share. Thanks for welcoming us to sit by your fire.
Well, I can say that I wish this company would’ve just had me design the plans or have them sent over to an engineer right away because the plans changed three times, and once after I bidded on the project! Hahaha, fortunately they were okay with me changing the pricing after the revised blueprints were a bit more work than bid on. Thanks for watching bill!
Awesome videos, I just came across your channel. I like the true reality of living in a camper and your rants. How about more cooking or pizza videos? I enjoyed your pizza video! Stay safe, stay warm! Count me in as a new subscriber! 👍
Thanks! Yeah I will be doing more videos with cooking for sure. I usually don’t get too carried away with them though because it’s not something I really want to focus on. Thanks for the sub!
I saw this beautiful dog and just hit subscribe.😁
The pup made me hit the subscribe too :)
As a dozer operator I don’t envy you guys and gals working in the elements, keep up the great work :)

That thing throws some snow, and you got your voice back!! Time to sing some tunes 😁❤️
It’s gotten a lot better but I am still missing an entire octave in my voice. My favorite octave too. Sucks but at least I can still kinda sing!
That pup might just be stealing the show!
