Hey Vic another great video. Thanks! Never knew about the poisonous plant you pointed out. Good to know. Montana has Beautiful landscape looks Unforgiving at times.
Fantastic! On my list. Not to far from the Spokane Valley. Thanks for taking the time to produce the video. Mosquitos suck! If there's one in the forest it bites me :( My little Honda is going to turn around at the snow LOL. Best regards, Kevin
Beautiful again! Zeda is so beautiful and getting so big. Love you! (also, the flashing lights in the trailer video and your monologue have me both intrigued and frightened, get your editing done so I can see you are okay, lol) xoxo
Great video!! Dude if they copyright/demonetize you I think it’s 3 times they can demonetize ur entire channel and I think even shut ur channel down. None of us wanna see that happen!! I know they don’t pay much now but all these videos will compile over time and you’ll make good money later. Keep that radio off haha 😆
Just found your channel not long ago. Just want to let you know I appreciate what you're doing. I'm also a solo adventurer in the PNW. Been building up my rig into an overlander and been doing lots of shopping for my "perfect" truck camper. Also like your choice of the 6x6 even though I'm going to rely on my quad for scouting expeditions for now. I also appreciate you being open to your process of camera shots and editing time. I know it takes so much behind the scenes to produce one 30 minute video!
What a gorgeous location! Nope, my 78 year old portly self will not be venturing down slushy roads in the MT back country. I’ll leave that to you and hurt my back vicariously. Thanks for a fun video, albeit unfairly demonetized.
@@downbytheriver501 I guess it’s that spirit of conquest we have in us. We always want to see what’s over the horizon. Or, as the people moving west talked about “seeing the elephant.” My problem is that I am a tourer and not a stay-er. That’s why I’m hunting for a smaller rig that gets better fuel mileage. 😉
Now that's some great advice to NOT use that plant for TP. Great drone footage as usual & could Actually watch a more of that time lapse. Oh Damn Dude. Now that's a cliffhanger.
I figured you’d like the TP reference! I have some more Timelapse footage that I wanted to include in this video, but it was already getting way too long so I cut out a lot of stuff for it 😔
Well from the looks of the cliffhanger ending of the last vid sounds like you have an extra vid or 2 set till you get that tire fixed@@downbytheriver501.
Hey man…really love the videos, keep em coming! I was looking to get out to Montana this summer. Just out of curiosity, how often do you see bears, moose, or wolves? Would love to get a peak at them during my visit!
Great video that certainly demonstrates you should have a chainsaw when traveling that type terrain. Good to see you didn't damage your drone too much, I'd never attempt to drone and drive, I'd be down an embankment for sure. BTW, is your chainsaw electric or gas?
It’s electric. I’ve had both, and despite loving the scent of two stroke, the convenience and ease of this electric chainsaw is awesome! Plus it has the power of a 31cc gas engine. Unfortunately in the next video, my drone met its demise. It was flying right towards a tree when I was strafing right. I saw the tree 3 seconds in advance, turned away, but it was too late! Broke the gimbal mount. I’m hoping i can repair it with some super glue because I love being able to get amazing shots with that…and where I’m at now definitely warrants drone shots!
@@downbytheriver501 Oops, guess the cliff hanger is out of the bag! At least you were able to get to your drone, I don't know which would crash first, me in a vehicle or the drone! I'm sure your drone, if you can get it up and going, will capture the beauty of Montana more so than being ground level; your drone shots look really great. Can't wait for next week's episode! BTW what's the brand and model chainsaw, because that sounds awesome!
I'm really thinking the chain saw may be the way to go. So far I've been carrying the Sawzall because I don't want to deal with bar oil. I've never had a saw thay dosen't leak. Do you you have any issues?
In a lot of ways it can be a hindrance such as minimizing damage to work environments. But the added benefit of an extra axle increases payload. Offroad wise, I am and have learned it helps greatly. My videos on it, as well as anecdotal evidence from very experienced off-roaders I’ve ridden with can attest to that!
It’s doing really well although I noticed my ball joints have been going out, so I just took it in to have it repaired. Not bad considering what it’s been through over the last 1900 miles. I would really like to get a long travel suspension on it(it’d have to be custom fabbed), turbocharged, A/C, and have it roll on some 33-35s but all these things would be very, very expensive so I think I’ll just have to leave it as it is. It does really well and out performs against most 4x4 sxs/UTVs on the market rock-crawling. although it’s absolutely gutless.
Oh man that sucks! I think I was totally sober for it’s untimely demise so I can’t even blame it on anything but my obsession with getting the perfect shot. Ughhhhh
Great video with a even better tease at the end. I’m glad that I watched all the adds to help you pay for the wrecker. 👍✌️
You’re my hero! 🤣
Your Shepherd is such a wonderful companion! Great video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and you’re welcome!
Nothing like a toxic plant salad 😆
Poor drone :( the time lapse was awesome though!
Yet another beautiful location and great footage. Can't wait until I can get out there on the road to experience it...
Heck yeah buddy get out while you still can!
Hey Vic another great video. Thanks!

Just one of many! There are also mountain death camas, hemlocks, and a vast array of other plants that are very unforgiving.
Nice place....
I appreciate it, but do you realize that when you end your comments with “….” That that implies sarcasm in the rhetorical sense?
Amazing content

They didn’t give me a strike for this one. But if I made more than a couple dollars per video, I’d dispute it.
I’d love to be sitting in your shoes one day soon.

Are you at Taylor Park in Colorado now? if so, you sure like to drive a lot....BTW great video mah-man.
Yessir! Also, yeah. I love to drive! I made a right turn instead of a left and went from Montana to Colorado. It was that spontaneous, literally !

It’s public yeah. But usually when one thinks forest service road they think it’s relatively smooth. This one certainly isn’t!
How is the 6x6 doing? Is there anything you would change or add to it?
