Bravo, Mr. Yankovic, thank-you kindly for sharing your Beautiful Melodies, our Family sang and played this one around our campfires, probably some of the polka's too, back in the 70's and 80's, quite a lot, as it was a favorite request of our oldest Sister Shirley and we used to dance, may The Good LORD continue to Bless and Keep you and yours as well. 🥰🙏💞

This was my grandparents wedding waltz. Grandpa Joe used to play with and was great friends with Frankie Yankovic.

revpamb2 was your grandpa Joe Secardi? If so I saw him often with Frank. They used to come to Oshkosh, Wi. I have a picture of Joe on stage with Frank. My brother had a band which was in the Yankovic style and the band used to stay at my home when in the area.

Ive been searching for years for this one Waltz they would play on this pennsylvainia station on Sundays in the 60's it brought tears every time I heard it ..I don't know the words to the song for it was polish or Czech ...Mothers Waltz" there was one for the Father too ! the sp. isn't right but to me its seems to be The Ta Tushi Waltz ?? ANYBODY know about this ????

I believe that the Blue Skirt waltz is a Czech waltz called Cervena Sukyna( sorry I do not have diacriticals on my keyboard). Though It was made popular by Frankie Yankovic a Slovenian American.
