He has done so much for public television. That was the first time I saw him. I'm so country but I love his voice and now have fallen in love with him and Irish music despite my love for the old country music and our lost real country singers. I must say this man can even sing those ole songs too.
I seen Daniel many times,met him twice in Tenerife,its a shame he does not do much touring now in UK,Spends more time doing concerts in the US.
We discovered Daniel O'donnell 8 years ago on PBS; since then my wife and I have been enjoying his golden crooning voice every evening. Thank you, Daniel, for bringing so much love into our marriage!

Daniel reminds me of the time we travelled up a 6 hr journey to go to his concert in Auckland . we were delighted to hear his lovely voice and came out to the foyer as he asked if anyone wanted to meet him afterwards . well I laughed when Daniel asked me where I came from I said of course Oldcastle Co meath . Daniel said back to me yes I know that but where have you travelled from when I told him 6hr drive he reply oh be jesus that a long way to come. I thought that was so funny as we got our wires mixed up . Daniel is so down to earth and touched me deeply with his singing and personality. So please he takes the time to come out to nz.slainte

I love his singing all all of his songs ! First heard him on a Live Cd I got Apri. 22nd 2004 age 48 years old ! I am half Irish and my Grand Ma on Moms side Mom Auntie Mary were all Irish ! Uncle Ed their brother my uncle is now almost 94 years old still does computer and works online sometimes part time in his own bussness and does plays tennis and golf he has a heart problem but takes care of himself ! Mom auntie Mary died !
