My dad was Polish (100%), but he always had a great love for Irish music. I learned most of the songs on this album at an early age, and he and I used to sing them together as I grew up. I've been sitting here listening to my the music and hearing my dad "doing" a pretty good Irish brogue, for the last hour--great memories. Also, my mom was a violinist, and she would play the same tunes, and she and my dad would dance to them together, as well. Don't know why I didn't see this until a year after it was published on RUclips. At any rate...thanks, Emmet. :-)

Awwwww, that was just DARLING 💖😍💖 I’m American, and I heard this song in an old movie from the 40’s, when I was 16. I loved it, and used to sing the parts I could remember. I adored movies from that era- everything was so classy, and fancy and romantic! ❤️ Just today, many years later, the song randomly popped in my head. That’s what led me here.
