I have loved this song since I was a kid. When I was 11 years old, my grandmother, while we were watching Bill's TV show, told me that Bill Anderson was my cousin. I asked how, and she said it was a little distant, but her Daddy and Bill's Granddaddy were first cousins...they call came from Georgia. I sent a couple of letters to the show, but finally met him in person at a show. We have been friends since. Jim and Libby, his parents, came to Texas to see us back in the 70's. Great guy!!

Love Bill's singing and his songs. The lady b/u singers also added a great deal of quality to the song. I saw Bill in person many years ago when he had an all girl band...he put on one terrific show...I certainly got my money's worth. God Bless, Jeff :)
One of the best singer and song writer of all time. Besides George Jones, Merle Haggard, and George Strait, also Kenny Rogers, and Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn, he is still here. We need more country singers like him every day to write songs about us. I have always went to fairs here when he performed. He is great.

I can remember watching whispering Bill Anderson on the Grand Ole Opry when I was real young, he was the first country singer I had ever heard and I sat right in front of the tv just to hear and see him sing, he still looks and sounds as good as ever. I guess you could say I had a little crush on him, I was real young after all.

Love Bill's singing and his songs. The lady b/u singers also added a great deal of quality to the song. I saw Bill in person many years ago when he had an all girl band...he put on one terrific show...I certainly got my money's worth.

One of the best singer and song writer of all time. Besides George Jones, Merle Haggard, and George Strait, also Kenny Rogers, and Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn, he is still here. We need more country singers like him every day to write songs about us. I have always went to fairs here when he performed. He is great.

I can remember watching whispering Bill Anderson on the Grand Ole Opry when I was real young, he was the first country singer I had ever heard and I sat right in front of the tv just to hear and see him sing, he still looks and sounds as good as ever. I guess you could say I had a little crush on him, I was real young after all.
