  • Owners vanished! Abandoned and forgotten farmhouse. Canada Explorer #41
This was a great abandoned farmhouse to explore. This house sits in the middle of nowhere with no neighbors around. Lots of stuff left behind at the house. There was a Singer sewing machine, Grandfather Clock, photo album and 2 beds that still had blankets and pillows on them. I tried looking up some history on this house but found out nothing so I'm not sure when or why it was abandoned. I'm assuming it has been abandoned for over 5 years. There was a boat and a large Barge in the back. I'm not sure if someone dumped them there or left by the previous owners.

    About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

That place was weird....it had some very old things, like the treadle sewing machine. (no motor, manipulated the foot pedal to make it run).....the paneling looked like it was cut especially for that house. I loved the kitchen.....it was well designed and large....but the island is a newer idea. The colors were definitely bold.....the rugs were probably pretty expensive at one time......the clock was very amazing too. The iron bedstead was old too. I suppose it was like most families....some things are passed down through the ages. Thanks, Brent. Your aerial views with the drone are amazing!!! sorry for the long post.

What a great house! Oh my, that sewing machine! It was a really nice one. The decals on it were almost perfect. That machine started out as a treadle and the motor was added later to speed up the sewing process. When we get machines like that, we always remove the motors. Too bad you couldn't have taken the machine out of the table, which is super easy to do, and saved it's life. Thank you so much for making these videos for all of us to enjoy.

It saddens me, that places like this are being abandoned and left to rot to the point that it would be cheaper to just tear it down and rebuild. There's a housing crisis in Ontario Canada (If not all over Canada) and these abandoned houses are unusable, but someone like me, who will likely never able to afford a house, would love to make a place like that a dream home.

I loved this one! It gave me the "feels" I could sense it when it was a bustling homestead. Lots of good stuff to see! Love the Bible and how you patted it a few times.. :D Did you say your prayers? lol Representing Alberta!!

It's really too bad what vandals can do to an empty or abandoned home. This home is super cool. Thank you the video

Good size rooms in this explore with those bright colors. Drawers swollen from the damp hard to open, just the ones the vandals already had opened looking for valuables. Seems that some of the pictures were removed from the photo albums and mostly scenery ones left, good! Glad when they keep some pics, but too bad that nice Bible was left. The old Singer sewing machine from the turn of the century is probably more valuable than the Grandfather Clock. On the clock in Latin is Tempus Fugit (Time Flys). Do most of the places you explore have the Christmas decorations left behind? The wreaths, the red Christmas tree bulbs are there, but no tree up, maybe they left some time in a long ago January... Cheers and Thank you for the explore .

Yes your probably right on the drawers👍 yes I always find Christmas decorations in abandoned houses. I guess they don’t need them 😁

Nice. Looked like a sweet little house at one time. And some of those grandfather clocks are worth serious $$$

Awesome house and what a working kitchen it's massive. I wouldn't mind living there it feels homely. House looked sad from the outside but once inside it was fine. It's sad that someone had to leave this home for whatever reason. Holey moley another lone chair. I wonder who left it could be watching this for some reason. Colour scheme is a bit loud. Great find Brent and thank you for taking care of the beautiful bible.

I agree with the others that comment on the care and attention and respect you give to the contents of the house..i like how 'patted' the bible. Its a good book.

    Hi Brent
Love your videos, do you ever get scared that some of these homes are haunted. This home I love the Grandfather clock. Wow beautiful.
I'd love to tour these homes with you. Lol.
I've even spotifyed this theme tune because it's cool. Thanks Brent for these great videos.

I grew up the next town over from where they make Greenleaf dollhouses. My brother actually worked for them! And I had that exact dollhouse that I built. What a great memory!

Looks like a great find I like a lot of the origional character and antiques left behind the house looks fairly structurally sound minus the basement of course . I'm thinking that the toilet overflowed on the second floor because of the mess.

I love all the abandoned home videos. It's even better to see one that's based in Canada. And Ontario, even sweeter 👍🏼🍻 This one almost looked like a place I lived in around the Perth County area about 15 year's ago with an ex. We never had colours that vibrant. Nice to see a few American followers as well. You earned yourself a new follower 👍🏼 🇨🇦

one thing i would like to say is make sure you are not alone and you tell your friends where you are going and directions if need be, accidents can happen, or weirdos can be around, always be safe and new sub right now :)

This house was great. Kitchen-wow! Looks like they may have combined 2 rooms, maybe dining room and orig kitchen. It needed two more floor to ceiling windows in the front. You picked very ominous music for this one though 😉. ~~~Deb from VA
