@@ben2402 I think possibly this is because although he gains no advantage, he has made a mistake, and in poker, mistakes have to be punished? Who knows? And it seems every different card room has its own little takes on what good and whats bad.
This is why there’s no such thing as a “professional” poker player. You can make an argument about betting semantics, style, math, etc. But the fact is you have no idea what cards are coming or truly what someone else has to 100%, so there’s always inherent risk. Doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers, etc. Those are professionals. Someone grabbing a pair of sunglasses with a big bankroll and labeling themselves a “pro” doesn’t make it true.
