Manta Sleep masks are pretty darn good in that they nailed the full black out eye cups in their PRO version. Now they added SOUND to it and I am testing to see what are the advantages.

I have the Manta Pro and am planning to buy the Manta Sound soon, so this review was perfect. Good tip with the ‘stretchy hack’. Thanks!
Great review, thanks! I've been eyeing the sound speaker for awhile.
This is how to do a useful review. Thank you.
Thanks for the stretchy hack! I am considering getting this.
straight to the point, I like it
=D
Underrated comment. So refreshing to just get to the meat and potatoes. If a RUclipsr starts with some bullshit I immediately leave the video.
🤩Awesome⭐️Review🙌 I definitely wanna get the New Blue Sound one they have available now🥰Thank You so much🙏Hope you have a Very Blessed DaY & Night🕊
Legendary comparison!
Also adding a point: the outside layer of the Sound is not washable (per Manta's website)
Thank you!
I have the pro for over a year and a half, the issue i have is that it comes off once I'm fully asleep. I feel like its the velcro isn't sticking and it just naturally come off and slowly slide into my bed, so its not staying on as securely as i hoped. I hope that there a solution to this, similar to how sound made it more secure for its two piece mask
Very nice review
My echo handles my clock and noise machine so I got the pro. BUT I just thought of travel and the sound would be a game changer. Maybe later I’ll grab the sound, but my pro should be here soon!
Great review.
Just got mine! About to have my first nap
So the sound version in Bluetooth?
Yes its bluetooth.
Truly love my sound one, I tried other sleep masks with sound but even ones that were advertised to side sleepers were horrible. I have been having the problem that the Velcro that attaches around the head doesn’t stick well anymore since I’ve used it every night for months.
Any clues on how to fix this?
Thanks for sharing!
Have you found a solution to the velcro problem?
Guess not lol @@IgorAntarov
Can someone answer this problem that I've had with others.
When Bluetooth connects or disconnects, I get a loud voice saying so.
Does this have a voice that narrates the power on or off, Bluetooth on or off. Or any other thing that can interrupt my sleep?
From what I heard this has a feature where it shuts off after 30 minutes of no playback, so I'd imagine it doesn't have any sounds when turning off at least. Additionally a comment on another video mentioned that it doesn't have any low battery sounds either.
Half the reason I'm considering getting one.
Holy shit! $160???
Nice! I wonder if it would help me with a dry eye problem I am dealing with for about a year already. I like the idea of playing my sleep hypnosis sound on it instead of having my neighbors hearing them (never asked them LOL).
I'm not sure if this will help with dry eyes at all. Have you tried a heated eye mask for dry eye?
@@BeatTheBushDIY I bought one but I didn't use yet because I have high intra ocular pressure right now. I will do that as soon as it's normalized, though. Thanks for the tip!
@@BeatTheBushDIYim getting the manta pros
I really really hope that Manta Pro is worth the investment for a side sleeper with HUGE light sensitivity .. i've been wearing a silk mask , super conf but the light blocking isnt great at all.. i was about to try another cheaper mask but i thought why not go for the "best" right away .. well, i live in Portugal so it was even more expensive. If it works for blocking light for a side sleeper it will be worth it, my sleep is top priority for me :)
IMHO they are worth it every cent. Only two cons: its expensive and the c cups are not sold separately (not that I need them now but just thinking a little bit into the future in case those ones get damaged somehow)
How has your experience been with the Manta Pro mask so far? Would you say it is worth it?
@@andymofoincross My two cents - absolutely worth it, I dont want to sleep without it anymore, ever
Can you use the mask with just noise no eye covers
Can you? Maybe if you fudge it but it's not meat to be used without the eye cover portion.
thank you for the review! do you think you'd be able to hear the audio on the sound mask if you're in an airplane? my current set i cant hear any of the ocean sounds on max volume if I'm on a flight.
The manta sound isn't sound isolating so you'll hear the airplane rumbling sounds.
I'm watching from Qatar. Just wanna ask, if I am sleeping day time, with loud construction sound, jackhammer and all...will I still hear it with this "Manta Sound"? And I would normally sleep with my own 'sleeping music' as well. Thanks for the help. I feel sleep deprived with all the noise, plus I'm an extremely light sleeper 🥺
These are not sound blocking but rather sound covering.
@@BeatTheBushDIY what would you recommend for sound blocking device in order for me to get better sleep? Thanks
Ear plugs. Here get these: amzn.to/4ay01na high decible ones.
@@BeatTheBushDIY thanks 👍 You're amazing
Hi! BthB love your content on Manta. Thinking about buying soon a Manta mask with “deep cups”. Did you have measures on Pro cups, please? Can you please tell me if they are the same deep size as the Original manta mask? Thanks 😊
Roughly 15mm deep on pros, 22mm deep on deep cups in the center. 10% off with coupon code BEATTHEBUSH enjoy!
Nice review! Do these block ambient sound if you're not listening to anything? I'm looking to block noise and have speakers so my phone can wake me in the morning.
Unfortunately, it does not block ambient sound.
If I play ambient noise on these, will I be able to block out my roomates noise mofe
It will drown it out rather than block. They are like open ear headphones.
Are they nose cancellation?
No they're not. They do not even noise-isolate, meaning they do not plug your ears.
My only problem with this Manta sleep is the velcro! After 3 months having it the velcro gets too used, I even sended a complaint to the manta mail, and they sended me a new one free but just a month after the velcro is begining to get old
First time I heard of it. Is the velcro getting filled up with lint and resulting it in not sticking?
@@BeatTheBushDIY Yes I think so, I had very bad luck with the velcro of my mantas
Clean the velcro with a comb!
@@BeatTheBushDIY I tried with a brush teeth with the first one and didn't work, what kind of comb will be good?
Use a needle and pull the fuzz/hair out. Not soft bristles.
How are they or which one is better at keeping sound out? or is it a light white noise maker without blocking outside noise.
None of them are good for keeping sound out. You probably should add earplugs for that.
I browsed your channel. I think you should specialize in one theme. You are reviewing too many things which is good. But I think if you specialize in one type of content, your channel will grow faster. Keep it up. I appreciate your dedication.
H aha! Yes! I love reviewing ALL STUFF! I just try to make it extremely detailed.
Honestly speaking, do you think that this will be comfoetable for people who sleep on their belly at the start of falling asleep?
My girlfriend has sleep issues and also sleeps during the day (as she works nights). She also sometimes sleeps with her eyes partially open (sometimes her eyelids dont come fully closed when shes super super tired) but my main concern is about the comfort as she tends to fall asleep lying on her belly with her head turned to the left/right side so that she can breathe. From watchkng her id say thay the outer edges of her eyes are coming into contact with the pillow.
Do you think that either of these masks would be uncomfortable for her? Or maybe do you think you can do a review about belly sleepers as well? I cant find any reviews on this topic at all and i really need to help find a solution for her
Sounds like you need a hard eye cover with soft cushions. Like swimming goggles with holes drilled into it for breathability. Haven't seen a specific sleep mask like that before.
Lol do you watch bay area buggs videos when you used that first sound ? Lol
Hey buddy, really appreciating your videos. I had a specific need with the masks. I like to meditation in total darkness so I’m really looking for something that will totally black out the light. Even if say I’m in the sun ;). Would love your advise my man. Peace
Yes, these are completely black out sleep masks. The material doesn't allow light through even with bright lights.
Which one do you end up using?
Have you tried the Pro along with a pair of true wireless headphones?
Depends on the situation but I generally use different versions of Manta for different reasons. Wireless headphones are too thick and very uncomfortable when you rest your head on a pillow.
Hei wondering if u go with the mask with music, will u be able to hear the alarm clock in the morning ?
There's almost no perceptible reduction in audio for alarm clock sounds as it's not a very good ear muff.
When you live in house with people who ha e children in a room that isnt sound proof with a door that is next to one of if not the main door thats opened and closed repeatedly, i would say the sound is the better choose

How well does bass transfer in the speaker?
