Sometimes bird poop gets on or near the bird food (ew). Also, RATS are attracted to all things birds. Also ew. So this Momma worries. Thank you. Please help my dog has lepto he has been hospitalized for three days now he's on antibiotics and fluids he's cranium level started at 12 and dropped to 7 in a couple days but on third day his cranium number has doubled an at 13 .. I think maybe they went back up because he was being transported and was off IVs for about 5 hours.. do you think if I continue to keep him hospitalized there's a chance his numbers can drop back down and recover thank you!
I'm so sorry to hear this! Prognosis can vary greatly. Hopefully your veterinarian can give you an idea based on your dog's entire clinical picture. There are many dogs that survive Leptospirosis. Unfortunately, some have long term issues after but they are usually manageable. You should discuss this with your veterinarian.
My 9 years old American bulldog was recently diagnosed with leptospirosis I live in Bushwick Brooklyn New York and the Rat 🐁 infestation in here is getting out control! Thank God we we cut it early my dog is on antibiotics at home eating and acting almost normal!
How old is your dog? my 5 month old puppy may have Lepo he been admitted. Getting fluids, antibiotics and medicine for his tummy. Dr said 50/50 chance of survival. He havent used bathroom in almost 3 days
