Thank you so much! I have never crocheted before and I am learning, alongside my 11 yr old daughter, as we make a wooble together. She thought she had made a mistake. I undid it for her to start again but by accident took out the knot holding the starting loop together. Your video has saved the day. Thank you. :)
so THAT's what ruined my kit. the instructions said to pull at the yarn to unravel whatever you just did, and since i used the loop that they tied off so it wouldn't unravel in shipping (THE ONE THE VIDEO INCLUDED WITH THE KIT SAID TO USE), when i pulled on it, it unraveled my entire starting piece and now i don't have one ❤
Exact same thing just happened to me. They said it was knotted so that when you pulled it would stop at the orange marker. Then POP all the stitch markers came out. And the videos included don't tell you how to make the EXACT SAME starter with 3 stitch markers in it, just two variations which don't help when the instructions specifically use all 3 stitch markers and have you move them around.
Thanks for this video! The woobles instructions messed me up because they do a couple of practice stitches but then continue into the pattern, which throws off the count. They don’t say that they’re stitches you’re supposed to rip out!
i dont know how crochet ever still dont know to do it. i wish there was a knit pattern for these. i bought one of these kits but no start circle to make it. could you change this pattern for a knit pattern i wonder could anyone help me with this.
I had a problem with the started. Is there a way you can show me how to make the started pieces with the pins. I got myself confused and took out the pins and un raveled the yarn. Please help me.
Where can I get those written instructions? Is it universal for all Woobles or character specific? Thanks got the help! I screwed up on Fred the Dino and have to start from scratch lol I’m not mad tho cuz it’s a learning curve for me on how to start making amigurami ❤
Each character is different. The code word for the instructions came in your package on the square card. You can print the instructions from the Woobles site. (I’m not an affiliate)
Keeping one pen in at the start of the round helps you know how many rounds you’ve done. If you’re not very far along, just pick a spot that is opposite the tail of the very beginning wherever the tail pulls from that should be in line with the start of the next round.
I didn’t like how mine started turning out around the end of the second round which is when all the stitch markers are removed and now I’m confused on where to put the hook (this is my first ever time crocheting)
I got my kit from a seller (not on the woobles website) and the pack was unopened. but I did not get the the pre-started piece in either kit and now I'm nervous.... what should I do?
Yes, I did but it seems like nobody cares about writing patterns correctly anymore! Ha ha they did put a stitch key in the previous page that I did not show.
You are not supposed to undo the loophole it is there so as you are learning you do not have to make the magic ring. Your can frog back (undo) your mistakes and start again without undoing the magic ring. All kits come with instructions. They are on line by scanning the QR code and typing in the password on the inclosed card. There you will find step by step video instructions and a link to download the written pattern to follow along on computer/tablet/phone or print it.
Someone gave me this kit. There is no instructions in it. 😂 Everything else is there, but some dang instructions. I've never tried to crochet. I use to roll my eyes at my great grandmother. My neighbor tried to teach me too. I regret not taking them serious. I thought I would never try this. I thought they were dorks. 😂❤ I was twelve years old. I thought I was too cool for school. I was that type of child. I wasn't disrespectful. I knew better than openly spouting nonsense. Lol Now, I'm sitting here, and laughing about it. Thank you, for this video! I'm sure I will be watching it more than once, and any other video I can find. I don't know anyone that can crochet now. I hope youtube pays you for this. I doubt it's enough. I would donate if there is a link or something. I haven't anything about it yet. I will if you have something though. I have to rewind now. I've been yapping.
Hi! You being a viewer is so helpful to me! Thank you! There are instructions for your wobble inside the little packet that has the eyes and the yarn needle, there’s a little card that has a QR code on the back and you should be able to get the instructions by going online from the QR code. Which wooble did you get?
Look I am sorry I don’t need to be rued and I’m not blaming you at all but I totally recked my kit lost the link and am crying my eyes out anyway thanks God bless happy Saturday
I can't tell you how much you helped me with the increasing on rows 2 & 3 of my woobles project. Thank you so much. Blessings. LInda
I'm so glad!

Did you figure it out?

Ours did not come with the pre started stitch the clips are there but not together
Do they have a video if you messed up and need to begin again it came aparr
Yes, I think if you search my channel for flat Circle, or magic ring, or magic loop I’ll try to find you a link when I get a moment.

How do you find the video to show how to make them
In the package in the envelope with the eyes and the little picture of the wool bow, on that little card is a link with a password
@@EllenGormleyCrochetwhat’s the password for the narwahl
My Woobles kit does not have the pre-stitch hahaha. What to do?
Contact them. They're usually good about replacements for issues like that.

Did you think it was unusual to see just "inc" used as shorthand for "2 sc in next st" in a beginner or any crochet pattern?
