- The uncle accused of executing six members of his family faced a judge Monday in Texas. Ronald Haskell, 39, was clean-shaven and wearing a suit as his murder trial got underway in Houston. Prosecutors say in July 2014, Haskell wanted revenge for his recent divorce. He allegedly stole a gun and went to the home of his ex-wife's sister. Katie Stay was first to die, trying to protect her children, according to the prosecutor. Her 15-year-old daughter, Cassidy, played dead until her uncle left. #InsideEdition

De Jesus Jesus Lawyers job is get you the lowest possible sentence. By advising you on what to do. I am though having a hard time trying to see a lawyer make his client say Not Guilty if he was guilty. Either he is innocent or just didn’t follow his lawyers advice.

As the youngest of a family of 7 i could never imagine the pain of being the only one alive. I feel so bad for this young girl losing her whole entire family. Pretty sure it was his wife’s family and not his brother’s. The killer’s last name is “Haskell” and the victims’ is “Stay”. He was estranged from his wife, not divorced, so he was still related to her family. Also, if it was his brother’s family, then why would the news reporter refer to it as his sister in law’s house instead of his brother’s house? Pretty sure what happened is that his wife left him, and he was high on some mob boss fantasy and decided to kill her family.

Well deserved. I have/had an adopted-brother who never took his medication, and every other night there were fights between him and our parents-who were only trying to keep us safe; which often resulted in him pulling a hatchet out on them often. One night he tried to kill us once and for all, but panicked when he realized he was failing. After sirens sounded in the distance, he had the audacity to get up and jump off the back porch, running into the woods. a week later we got a gun in the mail.
He went to court a few times, but was never arrested. For all the damage he’s caused us, imagine how much for that poor girl. I’m relieved her uncle is undergoing that; he didn’t even seem to feel bad!
