It’s extremely accurate. My four year old hasn’t eating anything but goldfish crackers for three years.
I like my bananas when they are just getting freckles. One night when I was a young teen my mom came in my room in the middle of the night, jumped on my bed, and waved a banana in my face saying, "Wake up! Wake up! This banana is just the way you like it!" LOL! She was THE BEST!

From experience i can tell you that there are different opinions between mom's and dads on what is edible and what not, and how it should be eaten, so very recognisable that part.

Oh God... 😂 This gave me flashbacks to 20 years ago and my eldest kid demanding I fix his broken banana because it was in 2 pieces. He refused to eat it unless I fixed it. Needless to say, he wasn't the one who ate the banana in the end. 😂
My daughter did the same with a chupa chups. When she opened it had a hole on a side and it was a big deal. She insisted it was hurting her tongue!
My nephew who is now almost 50, would take one bite of a hot dog, declare it broken, and refuse to eat the rest

In the times I´ve had the honor to raise a child my words to her were "Eat One bite, complain after!"...helped in over 90% of theese trials ;)

I have kids and I am like that, too! Pro tip (learned it from watching great apes, no joke): If you peel the banana not from the top bit that looks like a handle to us, but from the other end, the strings peel off and you don't have to handle them. Just open it carefully so you don't create a yucky bruise 🤣.

Just mash the banana, put it on a buttered sandwich, and toast it. Then present it to the kids. Yummy, want another one!

@@dominic.h.3363 they're testing how far they can go with manipulating and conditioning their parents, i guess and once they get you, you're done for good. Kids are natural actors since the age of a baby 😅
@@k.r.99 Remember how Nala immediately started crying when she didn't like the... uh... whatever abomination of that pasta was? Now that's either that same manipulation at work, OR she KNEW she had to eat it because they don't let her be picky, so she cried out of frustration that she has to eat that.

I once worked with a kid, just barely one and a half. He had a whole banana and asked me to open it for him. I thought "Hey, that's a big banana for such a little boy, lemme just break it in half".
Yea. Not the smartest move. The banana was broken and hence couldn't be eaten :|

I don't eat the ends either, but it's because we grow bananas here and I was always taught to avoid the ends since they're the most likely to be contaminated by things like rat urine which can cause leptospirosis

Chips use their canines on the bottom of the banana to rip it open easy in seconds. You not only channeled a young human mind but went back about 3 million years. Makes me wonder if 3 million years ago there was a mother sitting on a log while young hairy kids climbed all over the annoyed ape trying to have a solitary poo.
The easy way out of that is to cut it up put it in a dish with a bit of ice cream 🍦
