One day a week I literally had about 20 minutes for dinner and we had to have it in the car. I made it an "indoor picnic" in the minivan and the kids LOVED it. They remember how fun it was to this day. I played along but wanted to rip my hair out, lol. "Life is Beautiful" is one of my fav. movies too! That beach story is funny.

Apparently its clean/organize all the little rocks you put around the house and garden season for dad all around the world. My dads doing the same, went over to a friends a few days ago and his dad was at it too. It's almost as if dads operate on small scale hive minds.
