    MPG after 1300 miles is around 34 MPG - 450+- miles to a tank. For the most part while still early in its life, we love it. It is larger and at times feels it, but never scary feel. Speaking of Black Wheel trim, I wonder if they can be painted and if so, what it might cost?

    Would’ve been nice to see the cargo space with the seats down

    Thanks for the review. Any info on the airbag recall. Unable to take delivery of my Grand Highlander. Wondering if I should find another car.

    Did you experience gas tank issue like many other GH owners? How many gallons can you fill in the tank when the range is close to empty ( when the fuel tank light comes on at around 19 miles remaining)? Many people not able to fill (nozzle stops) more than 11-12 gallons in a 17.2 gallon tank is very inconvenient.

      I didn't have to fill this one up - however my C6 corvette had the same issue. That's a partial design flaw but also a gas station variant flaw. The rate of flow is too fast entering and doesn't allow air flow. If you put the pump on the 1st click instead of the 2nd click, it should fill full with no early cut off. Hopefully that helps- certainly did on my C6.

    Nice car but I wonder if Toyota will offer a plug in Hybrid soon?

    Did you encounter the gas tank refill issue where you can only put about 11 gallons when the low fuel light comes on as experienced by owners in the grand Highlander forum? Really appreciate it because this would be a deal breaker. Thanks!

    • @TheCarReviewGuys
      @TheCarReviewGuys  3 месяца назад

      I didn't but honestly I never put fuel in it. Sorry not much help there - sometimes that's the gas stations fueling rate tho.. used to happen in my corvette.. I could only fill up by holding the handle at half speed. Annoying

      @@TheCarReviewGuys appreciate the quick response. There’s a long thread about it and Toyota “admits” the issue unofficially, something about the tank shape in hybrids and they’re investigating. Not sure if the complaints are isolated or more commonplace and people just don’t notice.

    Looking at the Grand Highlander Limited Hybrid vs a Kia Carnival. Which do you think is the better driving experience?

    • @TheCarReviewGuys
      @TheCarReviewGuys  2 месяца назад +1

      I've had both and filmed both. Kinda depends on what's important to you. Resale value toyota. More amenities, Carnival. Better gas mileage, Toyota. Just as examples

    Nice video! Did you experience any cabin boom issues mentioned over the internet?

    • @TheCarReviewGuys

      Cabin Boom? I haven't heard of it - what's that mean? 🤔

    • @SamWad-zx5bz
      @SamWad-zx5bz 4 месяца назад

      It is a buffeting kind of sound heard between 24-45 mph in certain builds. Enough to cause ear pressure, discomfort and even leading to trading it back in. Not in every build.

    • @TheCarReviewGuys
      @TheCarReviewGuys  4 месяца назад +1

      @SamWad-zx5bz I didn't experience any of that honestly. I was impressed with noise levels

    Great review, how did the JBL sound?

    • @TheCarReviewGuys
      @TheCarReviewGuys  5 месяцев назад +1

      I'll have to test it and let you know. I rarely crank my music up so I'm not the best opinion probably haha 😅 JBL in other toyota vehicles are always usually good but not up to the level of bose or mark Levinson. IMO

    This or cX90 hybrid? We have CX5 and the handling and feel is fantastic but we want great mpg

    • @TheCarReviewGuys

      I can't directly say - however I'll say please drive both before your decision. Mazda always has a premium feel To their interior. Toyota is more refined for Hybrids IMO. And Toyota is known for reliability.
