The ultra space zones look basically like linear paths used only to show off the ultra beast that lives there. Even if they weren't, I'm not sure they have grass (so no wild encounters with ultra beasts) meaning they might as well just be a linear path to the ultra beast that lives there.
Maybe sun and moon were destroyed or out of power (remeber that both produce natural light), and in the story lunala and solgaleo try to stop necrozma on Alola for good and stop the same fate of Ultralopolis.
What they've shown is STILL about how much content a DLC would have, even a Paradox Interactive DLC for that matter. A new game should be that, New. Different PC like what B2W2 did. A completely different story, not "alternate". And lastly, tons of new areas, not one or two zones. this is DLC.
My problem with this type of stuff is that it's never a single version of their second installment of the same gen. Gen 2 has Crystal, Gen 3 had Emerald, Gen 4 has Platinum. Then once HGSS hit there have never been 3rd versions since. Now they're just making the second installment to the same gen 2 separate versions which I find stupid and Nintendo's way of making their games a cash grab.

Sun and moon were long and boring and end game was worse maybe I think that because X,Y and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire end game is what made me enjoy the game even more

I don't think they're aliens. More people from an alternate reality where Necrozma has succeeded in stealing the light from the sun and thus the moon. No UV rays would explain why their skin is blue. At least, that's my theory.
Well I mean if they go to the human world then they count as "Aliens" but the same goes for your character when it goes to their world since it seems they live in a totally different dimension or something.
It's probably like the Organization XIII robes in Kingdom Hearts- the bad guys may wear them like uniforms, but the good guys can wear them too since they serve a helpful purpose of travelling through a hostile environment safely... ... With that said, i doubt the Recon Squad are evil.
It might be that on the real Alola you meet the ultra beast peeps and they give you a suit so you can go to the world. Kinda like the suits you need to ride on groudon and kyorgre in ruby and sapphire

I was going to say that these trailers are blowing my mind but... UB: Burst has a new move called Mind Blown so now I don't know what to do, I feel Awkward....x)
Wait... so does that mean that these Ultra Recon people are aliens? They're from 'a world' where Necrozma has stolen light, and they have blue skin. They're either from an alternate Earth in another universe or another planet, either way that's wild.

I don't think they're aliens. More people from an alternate reality where Necrozma has succeeded in stealing the light from the sun and thus the moon. No UV rays would explain why their skin is blue. At least, that's my theory.

It's probably like the Organization XIII robes in Kingdom Hearts- the bad guys may wear them like uniforms, but the good guys can wear them too since they serve a helpful purpose of travelling through a hostile environment safely...

Omg ultral recon squad music sounds soo good much better than the ather foundation in my opinion also if i thought the ather foundation was filled with tech the ultra recon squad totally out shines them wow i am so hyped
But Aether foundation was really good. Especially with Lusamine's theme, it was creepy and psychotic, yet the strung intruments depicted grace.
Truly scary.
