“This all started with a daisy and rose barking in the night, and it’s gonna end that way too”.
Gave me chills
Oh yeah there HAS to be a sequel to this story! I DEMAND VENGEANCE!!!!!!
VENGEAAAAAAAAAANCE!!
RIGHT!
Kill ALL Cryptids
Will there be a sequel to this story Stephen 🤔? It needs one for real. No clue who the author is but they did a good job writing the fear and emotions, and as usual you did an AWESOME job narrating it. Thanks for keeping me level and sane.
An eye for an eye makes the world go blind. These ape creatures were literally just doing what predators and omnivores do all the time, what we humans do all the time. Maybe its better to just accept that we can also be pray, and work around that instead.
Ohhh that ending gave me chills! Daisy and Rose about to set some sh*t off once again. I would love a sequel from the author
Holy crap Stephen that was excellent. One of the best monster stories I have heard in years . You were a total boss in bringing it to life, this was one of your best narrations to date and probably sets a new standard for the channel . Wow sums it up the best. Totally blown away by the quality of the writing and your narration. Thank you very much for one of the best stories i have heard. Cheers Stephen, Lee.
Hey Lee good to see you!! I'm so glad you liked this one. I loved that last line!
@@LighthouseHorror Yeah man it was a beaut! I have to be honest though the level of awareness in the sound and vibration was so unique it had a positively rememberd feel as opposed to a created feel to the writing style. I am someone with a deep affiliation to sound and vibration including everything from music to rail guns, thunder storms to deep vane mining with ultrasound . I still feel the secret of perpetual motion will be solved with vibration. Sorry..I digress. So, to hear an old old strory type told in such a refreshing way it just drew me the hell in. Then throw (quite literally) dismembered human body parts in, the level of immersion I had for the first time in a long time caused me to actually wince at the description of the bones protruding through the shin of the severed leg. I honestly thought I was so overly saturated in gore that nothing would ever make me swallow hard again. Sorry, I got to leave work early and I'm a bit excited hahaha. Huge credit to both you Stephen and the Author, you both have unique talent and I'm so pleased I got to hear this brought together by you both. Cheers, Lee.
"I named them daisy and rose. Fitting, ironic, poetic, call it what you want. this all started with a daisy and rose barking in the night. And it's gonna end that way too."
JUST CHILLS MANN
First time I heard from you were the "Maybe the national parks aren't..." stories. You've been my favorite narrator ever since! Thanks for the amazing work, can't wait for this one!
I appreciate that Lord!
@@LighthouseHorror your Natl’ Park stories were great!! The ending ate me alive! I wanted to know if that was (SPOILER 🚨 ALERT) really the MC’s father on the other side of that door!
PLEASE make more wendigo stories as well! The 2hr “I never thought I’d fight a wendigo (I think that was it?) was brilliant! I love your longer stories they’re great! Same with the “Cable man” story! Thankyou LH this story was excellent as well !
@@maureenjossick429 I agree I love all of his Wendigo stories, you know He has several right? But the two hour one was the best it was the story that got me into the longer ones before that I was listening to Creepy pastas for 7 years but would never go more then an hour. I would also like him to complete the voodoo shop stories another reader had two more two hour parts so that story but I refuse to listen he isn't on my list of narrators.LH is number one to me TDS is two then I like several others.
Same here, I honestly couldn't sleep without Lighthouse's voice.
I live in Waco Texas
This author NEEDS to do a sequel! I need more!!! This story had my heart pounding.
Oh wow, this one was GOOD. Tense as hell, fully immerses you in the events, and delves deep into the survivor's guilt after. Such a bittersweet ending - the protagonist survived, but couldn't move on, has become obsessed with retaliation/redemption, and will almost certainly die trying to achieve it.
Nah, he'd win
Yeah he is just built like that@@Cmoney01010
If he wears a pipe bomb vest into those woods, he'll at least take em with him.
Nah, he wouldn't cuz he's HIM
His survival isn’t as important as how many of those things he takes with him.
They sound like an apex predator, which means lower numbers. With that much muscle they’d have to eat a ton calorie-wise, so the environment could only support so many.
I do hope he’s bringing something bigger than pistols though, large-caliber shotguns, high-powered rifles, possibly even automatic rifles if they can get them.
Hey everyone I hope you enjoy the story! It's a good one. 🙂

Hell of a story. Hope to hear a part 2.

yes true! and very pertinent to this story
And it works the other way around too. Saved my dog from wolves this way. Take heed of your canine folks.
So true
Amen to that!
💯💯💯
The first one of your stories I ever listened to was "I Rented a Cabin In the Woods; I Didn't Expect to Fight a Wendigo". Back then it was known as something different along the lines of "We Got Trapped in an Avalanche; a Wendigo Picked Us Off One-By-One". It is still my favorite of your stories by far but I don't think there's a single bad narration in your catalog. The way you bring the characters in each story to life and not just read them all like a book set you so far apart from every other horror narrator I've listened to. You externalize the emotions every character is going through in your tone and voice quite effectively and it makes every story feel more visceral and engaging. I'll put your stories on in long car rides, when I'm winding down for bed, or even as background noise when doing work and you never dissapoint. I'm glad you're getting more attention from people discovering you much like how I did and I know I'll be around to listen to more of these in the future!
thank you so much Drew!
Wow, this one was extremely well written and narrated.
Congratulations to the writer and to you, LH.
Great work!

That ending was amazing! You pick the best stories and narrate them so well I love this channel!!
One of the most well written stories so far this year. Kudos to the author and yourself!
Edit: That last line gave me chills.
Facts. That was badass
The most unreal part of the story is that a 15 year old boy or girl who lived in a trailer like this didn't have a gun as well
the dad had a gun... he went out with it and i assume died(havent got that far)
@charlievu5641 you don't live in the country or you're doing it wrong if there is only one gun
@@jackd8345 how would he even had the chance to go for it. now that i watched it all he was stuck in place for 80% of the time the creature was there and if he made a noise he would have died or his family would have. they were in the kids room while being attacked so no guns there ide assume.
@charlievu5641 The point of my comment was that the most unbelievable part of the story is that country folk are unarmed
Yes I did not even know that this needs a second part 😮😮😮
oh my god this was the best story that should be made into a movie. You did this .
story justice Lighthouse my hats off to you and your awesome ability of story telling. GREAT JOB

thank you Roan!
I don't understand how you manage to find and invigorate the stories that you narrate. The writers are truly gifted and your skill makes the reading phenomenal. This was the hot diggety bomb of monster stories...all up close and personal....chills😨🙂
Great story and storytelling. When the monster is only vaguely seen or described, the imagination fills in the rest -which is a brilliant trick, because it makes it more realistic by our own individual measure of whatever realistic means.
The human mind will almost always conjure something more horrible than we could describe.
@@williamking256 I imagined a big werewolf-like creature, with an ape's limbs, their fur is covered in green moss, similar to a sloth, with impossible proportions that shouldn't exist in nature.
Again, you get me through these long days in the hospital. They just make my day and just keep my attention the whole way, hate having to pause whenever my nurse comes in xD it’s always right at the most suspenseful moment.
Just absolutely amazing. Will never leave this channel.
Hang in there Yumiko! Thank you for the kind words
That was one of The Best I've listened to, there has to have a update to it, the beast killed most of his family and their dogs, THEY GOT TO GO!! Eye for an eye..
Hah. They're going to tear him and his grandpa apart.
I’m honestly baffled that I’ve yet to comment, because this is by-far one of my favorite stories in the horror department that I’ve genuinely heard. I have personal favorites, and there’s no topping the big dogs like Borrasca or Penpals, but this is truly something special.
Magnificently written, engaging to the end, and something that truly invokes terror. This is a story that deserves a sequel, hell, if any lone-story I’ve heard deserves a sequel than this is it. I hope to hear the author traverse the doorsteps to continue the tale, it’d be one worth the wait.
Could you share a link of Borrasca or Penpals?
Wow. Great writing! Easily had a vivid image/setting in my minds eye.
That was a fantastic and chilling story! I feel bad that the kid feels guilt! He probably saved his mom and sister, and certainly warned the others. Great story!
Absolutely love this one. Especially the ending ❤ would love to hear a sequel of him hunting down these creatures and becoming their nightmare.
I’ve listen to this one multiple times it’s fantastic. It’s visceral and enveloping, I felt myself on the other side of the door with the writer, stifling my breathing to avoid being found as well. Really really good and the narration is of course perfect as always.
This was amazing!
I hope there's a part 2 in the works.
I love dogs. Can't wait to hear it. Hitting play right this second.
The Daisy and Rose twist at the end was soo soo soo satisfying and cool
Wow. Incredibly well-written story and matched with an incredible narrator. I listen to a lot of narrations and this one stands out for it’s relatability, especially if you live in a rural area and know anything about double-wides or trailers, dogs, family, guns, and fear. Thank you for this story.
Rick
I can't think of a single narration you've put out that I didn't enjoy. Your voice action , emotion and inflections make almost more than a story. Thanks so much

@@starsvoltage8846 so true, my friend! 👊😄
R.I.P. Daisy and Rose. This was a great story that needs a second listen (by me). Brilliantly written and narrated. Thank you both.
The story of the boy surviving the horrific beast attack was ama zinging and chillingly told. But you can bet that whatever family group or tribe of bigfoot (or whatever) will dearly regret attacking the humans. When compared to other mammals, man seems feeble. But man's intelligence is supreme. When our bodies are not enough, we create weapons. When our weapons are not enough, we make better weapons. And we have something else that the other creatures of nature do not: we know how to hate. We hold a grudge. And we actively seek revenge. All animals fight: but humans make war. the bigfoot killed humans that night, but their entire species will not survive the repercussions.
This story was so well written, evocatively narrated. it makes you wonder----if in a much younger era, mankind warred with creatures like bigfoot and destroyed them. Maybe that is why real animals like the dire wolf, cave bear and saber tooth tiger died out-----they made the mistake of preying on humans, and earned humans' hatred. And our ancestors made war on them.
Lighthouse, the story is much appreciated. Best narrator on RUclips. Be well, my friend.
good to see you Jesse!
Agreed! His narration is the best!
Dude, Lighthouse, you and NaturesTemper have to be the best narrators that do different voices, as well as a couple of the best overall. Y'all really bring the stories to life.
I appreciate that very much!
Amazing. The part where the MC screamed was chilling.
I have a nostalgic love for nature and all its mysteries. I was raised by a grandmother that used to work as a national trucker and every summer was filled with nothing but adventures involving oceans, forests, and so on. That being said, you will *never* catch me living deep within any kind of biome by myself if I can be help it, I've experienced waayyy too many suspicious happenings to ever consider it. This story is a great reminder of that lol
Would love to see you and NaturesTemper do some collabs together. Easily 2 of my favorite narrators. Both of y'all are incredibly talented!
Anytime I get mentioned with NaturesTemper I smile. Huge fan of his. Thank you Dean!
@@LighthouseHorror You're welcome man! Y'all are both awesome!
That was amazing! Having aphantasia means I can't visualize nor picture anything in my head, but somehow, this story, with its amazing narration, gave me a glimpse of what it might feel, to be able to see yourself in their shoes, to feel your heart drilling into your ribs, to feel your feet heavy as stones, and to feel, the nasally breathing on the back of your neck. Bravo!
This story feels like it actually happened, that's how good the details are. Magnificent story with a fitting end.
I live in Central Texas and must say that East Texas is beautiful.
The ending was bit sad but understandable. This one of the best Bigfoot vibe first hand account stories I ever heard.

Very well done, I was on the edge of my seat!

This was not a seat on the edge of yr chair story this was a pacing back and forth story. This was one of the best so far. Amazing story. Great job
very well narrated, could picture the kid in the room
Brilliant!!🤩
I was holding my breath through more of that story than I’d care to admit to!….. wow 😮!…..
Amazing author, taking the listener along for everything, never missing one detail. The entire time it was as if there was a screen playing in my mind, never missing a thing. The always perfect narration of Mr Creeps and the descriptive writing of Entropy kid is an amazing combination! Had to listen again and then just one more time. I would not advise listeners to listen while working or while doing anything that requires undivided attention, ie, operating a vehicle.
Thank you Mr Creeps and Entropy kid!
Mr. Creeps did do one of Entropy Kid’s stories, but this is Lighthouse doing this one. :D
@@williamking256 I don’t know who that is. I just got into the whole cryptid thing a few months ago. Now Im hooked. All I’ve really listened to so far is this channel, Dark Somnium and Swamp Dweller (sometimes). I’m going to look up Lighthouse (?) for sure.
Thank you!
@@crazypsychnurse9493 i don't know what to tell you. You said Mr Creeps did a great job narrating this video, but Mr Creeps DID NOT narrate this video. Lighthouse Horror did. Mr. Creeps isn't in this video at all, so I don't know why you said he was.
Truly frightening! Loved it!
That last parallel there of the dogs/guns barking was seriously badass
Very good story! So sad there was such carnage. Like the names of his guns.
This story seemed more real than most.
If there's a sequel made to this, they need to elaborate on the mc's Grandpa being hinted at having more knowledge on the creatures that killed their loved ones. I think the creatures have to be at least inspired by Gugs. They're from Lovecraft's Dreamlands. Large, bipedal creatures covered in fur, which have no jaw but a vertical split down their head to torso area. The arms of the creatures weren't described in full, but Gugs have 4 forearms. 2 biceps that each branch into two forearms.
OMG I'M EARLY!!!!! I LOVE YOU LIGHTHOUSE MAN! Your narration is the best!❤

Survivors guilt is a real thing, and it lives in this young man. I hate that Rose and Daisy died, love that those handguns are named Rose and Daisy. And retired Sheriff Grandad is just what we all needed and wanted to see. Sequel, Sequel!
