Way better than anything today. Real talent. No autotune.
The way Angus plays the guitar IS unbelievably epic. AC DC always gave us straight-at-you, in-your-face, like-a-freight train ROCK.
Malcolm was one of the very best rhythm guitar player in all of rock and roll and their primary songwriter, Angus complimented his brother perfectly
Facts
@@m.ericwatson968 Yes. And they were both self-taught, which I find amazing also. Cheers!
You can't get bigger than AC/DC...literally the biggest rock band of alltime!
There’s so many bigger ones
@@hekfilms8666 There may be a few bigger rock acts (Led Zep, Eagles, Beatles, Queen, Floyd) depending on how you measure it but there aren't 'so many'. Back in Black is the second biggest selling album of all time behind Thriller. Get your facts straight.
@@YellowJello57 The Rolling Stones? Aerosmith? Guns N Roses?
@@YellowJello57 and rock acts like Elvis or prince were probably bigger too
@@hekfilms8666 I was quoting from the wiki on biggest selling albums. Do your own research.
Duane...that man is the one-and-only Angus Young. He and his brother Malcolm, the rhythm guitarist, founded the band back in 1973. Angus is a true guitar prodigy, with how he moves and plays. Some compare him to Chuck Berry, for whom Angus had much respect, but Chuck had only elementary moves and skills compared to Angus, who took it to a whole other level. He has worn a schoolboy uniform since the band's inception, as he used to practice in it when he got home from school, and his sister thought he looked cute in it, so the hyperactive, unruly schoolboy became his stage persona. Btw...he is only 5'2" tall, so when he wears the uniform and prances around on stage, he still looks quite young from a distance, despite being in his mid 60''s now.
"Let There Be Rock!" is a must listen track, live or studio, it's Rock and Roll perfection
Most people miss the fact that Angus (Lead Guitarist) plays the intro guitar riff one handed using only his left hand.
Angus Young & his brother Malcom on rhythm guitar formed AC/DC! Just the best!
They broke the mold with Angus, there's nobody else like him
Agreed that man is amazing
Years ago my buddy found two puppies that were abandoned near his home and he took them in. He called me and asked if I wanted one, so I took the boy. I named him Angus, after Angus Young, with the rule that he had to learn how to play guitar. I had that dog for years and he not once ever picked up a guitar.
The energy plays Angus as he plays the guitar!
My family is 3 generations of ACDC fans, my dad is now 75 but he started listening to them in the 70's and also has a few original LP's of their first albums and because we are Australian we have the original Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap album cover which was only sold in Australia and NewZealand, I'm 44 and of course grew up listening to them from my dad and now my 14 year old daughter loves listening to them and Angus is her favourite guitarist. My dad and I seen them live in 2001 and our ears were ringing 4 days later but worth it because they have the best live concerts and sound better than when they are in studio.
Duane, Angus plays that intro ONE-HANDED... the best lead guitar player ever...imho...
I’m finally here…AC/DC is ICONIC
First heard AC/DC in 1978. Seen them a few times. Angus Young is a great performer. Fun band and Angus really is a cool and down to earth guy.
The name AC/DC came from the back of the Young bros, sister's sewing machine. It could use battery or wall plug power, she used to make his stage uniforms. Angus was the youngest of the three boys George Young who became a song writer with Harry Vanda after his original band, the Easybeats broke up, see Friday on My Mind, was the eldest, Malcom was getting AC/DC started when someone said you need another guitarist. He said my little bro is going to be good, but he's a schoolboy still. 40+ years later he's a schoolboy still.
When the Easybeats were big, some fans found out where the Youngs lived, and tried to break in to hassle the boys. The police were keeping fans out when Angus came home from school. They would not let him in until his mum vouched for him.
I grew up in the 70’s but wasn’t really a big AC/DC guy. Until i started guitar lessons when i was about 50, and buddy i was onboard. Back in Black, this cranker you just watched, and Shoot to Thrill which is a BLAST to play.
Nice reaction! 👍
Angus, Punchbowl school kid who used to turn up to rehearsals in t his school uniform and they stuck with it. Watch AC/DC live at River Plate to see just how good they really are.
This a heck of a drinking song at the local bars. Everyone takes a drink everytime they say Thunder. Bartender gets everything prepared beforehand lol
The man on the lead guitar is Angus Young from Australia and the singer is Bryan Johnson from the UK
Angus Young is awesome. The drummer was killing this too.😊
I was first introduced to AC/DC back in 1980 when Back in Black came out. I had never heard of them but picked the album because I thought the name and album cover looked cool. It was one of the free picks from Columbiahouse music club where you received a tape every month to listen and buy if you liked it. I was 13 and listened to it on my paper route. They became my favorite group and have been ever since. I have listened to every album and I can honestly say that out of every song they have released, I only dislike maybe 3 songs. How many groups can anyone say that about?
Angus was the first non vocalist frontman. And still the best. Lookout for Livewire, Paris 1979. It'll blow your mind
Superb concert, "Let There Be ROCK!"
You're right. This music is better all the damn day long! Give your Grandma and Grandpa a great big kiss -- this is their generation. 70s, 80s, 90s rock rules!
Angus is the lead guitarist and in the shorts and school boy outfit. His brother Malcolm plays the rhythm guitar.
If you want to see one of the most epic concerts, check these guys out back in 2009 in Argentina at River Platt stadium. Sold out 3 nights in a row
First song really enjoyed was 'High Voltage' back in '75, but shortly after, 'Long Way to the Top' totally sold us as teenagers. When Bon Scott passed in '80 I think it affected a lot of young Aussies who just thought of ACDC as part of our culture. It seemed a long time until Back in Black.
I still play the drums to thunderstruck and I'm 60 years old
❤
I love your reaction. I love ACDC and the Young brothers formed the band in 1973. Angus on the lead guitar and his brother Malcolm on rhythm guitar. They've had a few drummers but their first lead singer Bon Scott tragically died in 1980. Then Brian Johnson joined as lead singer
Unfortunately Malcolm also passed away in 2017 but his nephew Stevie Young room his place. Best Rock band IMHO of all time
Battle ships the movie when the uss Missouri was borrowed. This was the theme song. Its been a anthem for Australia and new Zealand for years at parties
They play that intro at the beginning of football games, and used in many movies.
Yeah...we knew how to rock it back in the day.. I remember when AC/DC hit the charts way back... I'm 81 now and this track still gives me goosebumps.... great days...🙂
Lead guitar is Angus Young... Singer is Brian Johnson....
Love seeing your reactions man. You genuinely seem interested in most genres of music. I do watch some of your other videos pertaining to non music subjects, but, music and comedy vids that you react to are my personal favorites. Keep it up sir, you are a great watch. Love from West Virginia. Not like that.. you aren’t my sister! Jk, I also enjoy the fact that you sometimes grin during comedy vids when certain stereotypes are voiced, but, then you just kind of let them slide. Like, hey, I didn’t say a word. You’re great dude. Keep being you. I’ve told several of my buddies about your channel, hopefully they subscribe as well. Thumbs up.
I think these songs are commonly used in movies and sports & that's where a lot of ppl have heard them
Thunderstruck was in several huge movies.
Since you’re exploring some AC/DC I recommend a cover of Thunderstruck done by 2Cellos. Seriously, it’s good, they literally shred their bass cellos playing this hard. I really like watching your reaction videos, thanks for taking us along (came over here from your Elvis playlist). Peace
Mine was hells bells in 1988 with my dad i was 6 in Argentina and they have so many and in so so many movies as well
AC/DC is LEGEND!
During their first year with singer Dave Evans who was a big glam rocker from the early 70s, Angus tried several costumes for a gag like Bowie, and Kiss. Dressing in drag, and even a full gorilla costume was tried before his sister recommended "why don't you just wear your school uni?" He did, and the devilish, mischievous nature came out, and fitting his small size, and it stuck. "If it aint broke, don't fix it" is his attitude, and his uni is now his superman cape. ACDC was the rock band of all rock bands. The Beatles were amazing songwriters, and had the best songs, but these Scottish, English and Australian guys (Angus and Malcolm born in Scotland ,and Bon. Brian from England and Cliff Richards and Phil Rudd (not here) are Aussies)
I've written to our elected officials in Australia. And requested this become our national anthem. 😭
Love your reactions and your enthusiasm!! Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was the first AC/DC song I heard when I was 14 and it blew me away!! I have been to 13 AC/DC concerts and Angus always puts on a great show! Try Let There Be Rock live at the Apollo Theatre Glasgow 1978! Videos are great but live is better!
Angus Young is the guitar player and he is a legend as is AC/DC. Check out Live at Blue Plate concert.
And AC/DC are back live this year 🤯
Oh shoot that’s good to know, I like that
The intro was used in the movie Battleship
Been listening to them since 1975...the guy in the shorts is Angus Young.....NO ONE rocks like AC/DC. Angus is 68 now. Fun fact: In their early days radio stations would not play their music on the radio before midnight. It was considered controversial.
"Angus Young" Cmon dude!
Angus Young is a Goddamn force of nature. Next has to be Whole Lotta Rosie live at river plate.
The first song I ever heard from ACDC was DOWN PAYMENT BLUES
Thunderstuck was in Battleship when the Missouri was commisoned
I believe AC/DC is about the 4th best selling band in the US. They have been around since the mid 70s. Its not a surprise that you probably heard their music in passing without knowing the band. Songs like Thunderstruck, Back in Black, TNT, Hell's Bells, Highway to Hell and You Shook Me all night long has been in movies and tv shows.
Angus Young the guitar player with the school shorts, he is the only original ACDC member that's STILL in ACDC today.
Rumor is AC/DC spent many months and close to one million dollars recording and producing this one track in the studio, just to get it perfect, which is nuts considering they were a band that did a few takes, kept things raw and fresh then moved on; this track does sound like a million dollars. Angus is not the most adept shredder as far as technical licks and leads, but he has genuine passion and passion goes a long freaking way, especially in Rock and Roll music; AC/DC are one of the greatest Rock and Roll bands in history
It’s funny. You’ve probably heard even more that you know! Lol. Loving your reactions btw. Oh and check out the movie Battleship with Rhianna and Taylor Kitsch. They use this song in it and it just makes the ending.
Angus false teeth from hitting himself in the mouth w/the tuning keys and headstock of his SG.
I love this song ..beautiful start to my weekend incredible reaction loved it too ...whooo lets goooo thanku sweet Duane much love an God bless x
AC⚡DC always gives off more energy than a runaway reactor. Bringin' the heat since 1973.
You commented on the setting for this video. The song is 'Thunderstruck', so... they're in the Thunderdome.
The actual backbone of the group was Malcolm,, Angus's brother 🏴
watch the acdc live at river plate, the crowd the music its unreal im telling you, review it or watch it for yourself
Great reaction top lad 😎
Hey Duane, sorry haven’t seen you yet, but I always try and watch ANYONE who loves Angus and ACDC as much as I still do. This is 8 months old, so I’m dying to see all the ACDC you’ve reacted to since. You should know all the Band members by now. Hopefully you know their story. But yes I got to see them Live. Most AWESOME concert I ever attended. On their “ FLY ON THE WALL” tour. If you haven’t heard this album please check it out. Bonn Scott was AMAZING. But Brian Johnson lead them from 80- present. Back In Black his 1st album after Bonn passed. EPIC from there on. But a lot of EPIC before. So be sure to check out DOWN PAYMENT BLUES, and RIDE ON k. Trust me EPIC. Both Bonn Scott era songs.
I like the head banging.
Whole lotta rosie river Platte bro its all Angus!!!!
My dude, AC/DC is in the top five biggest bands of all time. The only other bands I can think of that rival them are the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Queen, Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd.
You might also like heart Nancy Wilson is the only other person I remember playing the guitar like angus back then
ACDC bigger than you thought?🤣you reckon. Also the most loyal followers of any band ever
Stevie Ray Vaughn "Texas Flood" there is a guitar god.
Angus young😂😂
In all likelihood you've heard these tracks in movies. Iron Man 1 & 2 most likely.

Gotta do a reaction to "If You Want Blood (You Got It) and also the Live performance of "Let There Be Rock" from their 3-night show at the River Plate in 2009!
Angus goes absolutely NUTSSSSS in both!
River Plate is insanely epic, like it shouldn't exist it's such an epic concert
Bon Scott's songs are best heard performed by Bon Scott. Brian can't do Bon's songs.
is name is (Angus Young) AC/DC
Angus Young. The best on the planet
Angus Young 😈 AC⚡DC
Duane...if you watch their official video for "You Shook Me All Night Long," I bet you will recognize that one as well. :)
Besides the beatles and led zeppelin, AC/DC is the trifecta of rocks biggest groups. I would add the stones. But then it wouldn’t be a trifecta, plus their music does not affect the mind 🤘❤️
The rift was from the movie Deadpool.
Deadpool 2
If you like Angus then try Dimebag Darrell he's from Pantera and Damage Plan. RIP Dimebag and Vinny. U will never see their likes again.
Angus - Son of Satan - how could he not be #1? 😇

These guys started about 1973 with Lead Singer, Bon Scott. Newer Singer started about 1981 after Bon Scott's death.
The 70's was all about Perfection.
This is why, today at 70 years old they are still performing like with what you are witness in this video.
If You Want Blood (You Got It) has to be my favourite song from them i would say it's a must listen.
That’s coming I loved that it’s uploaded just waiting for a dispute on the block to go through
Livewire 1979 monsters of rock California
Angus wears the school boy outfit because his head master at school told him he was gonna be a loser with nothing going for him! He wears it to remind himself and the head teacher.
Been doing acid again boi?
If you want blood you got it , 1st song i heard by them , with the former (passed away singer) Bon Scott
