Dude you really need to stop saying let’s get the ad out of the way and broadcasting that stuff like you do. Just watch how most others do it. Just slide it in and continue on. Stop highlighting it every damn video. There are so many people who do graves just watch them they all do it basically the same way. You don’t have any other niche so just try to run on their backs and keep the “ads” down
Chet is my great uncle. He passed when I was 8 or 9 years old. I have very vague memories of him playing Barney songs on the guitar for me. Thank you so much for this video
In the late 40s Chet was playing with Mother Maybell and her daughters on KWTO radio in Springfield, Missouri. WSM wanted the Carters to come to the Opry but they did not want Chet. "We have enough guitar players in Nashville." It was a testament to Maybell's character that she said she was not interested unless Chet came with them. They relented and Chet made history in Nashville. Both Maybell and Chet had lots of character.
First I discovered Duane Eddy in about 1958 as a young boy then later I heard about Chet and started buying his LPs. Those great old album covers were super promotional tools for Chet's signature Gretsch guitars. Been to Chet's grave twice and both times found an assortment of thumb picks that fans had left. His marker is as modest as he was. I don't think he would have been comfortable with huge gaudy headstone. Chet's talent and influence can never be underestimated. He was simply the best.
I met Chet, briefly, in Bristol UK, in a local Record Store, where he was promoting his records and his up-coming Live show in Bristol. He signed about 4 CDs for me , but couldn't understand my questions / Accent, or I his. He kept asking his companion-''what'd ;e say ? I later saw the show of course, and it was---naturally, GREAT.
When I heard Chet play the guitar I was so impressed Went out and obtained a Guitar when I was fourteen now I’m 80 years old and Chet has been idle all those years
What a great video! You do a really good job. I had no idea Donna Summer had passed away. Use to dance to her tunes at the disco...Yes...I'm that old! Chet Atkins was an amazing artist. Loved the Million Dollar Band. Thanks for taking us to pay respects to him. God bless!
I attended the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention the week after my Daddy died. I went out Chet’s grave, broke a thumb pick into and wrote “Chet, my Dad is waiting on you to pick in Heaven” and stuck into the ground on his gravesite. My Daddy and I used to listen to Chet’s 15 minute weekday radio show and sometimes when the signal would grow weak we’d go out to the car and listen.
I had to subscribe you brother! appreciate what you do and helping other channels is great, maybe can swap shout outs some day, my channel sure could use it and maybe yours too :D cheers!

People sometimes forget what an incredible musician that he was
how could they ever forget ? I was a fan, when Shadows Hank Marvin, was considered the greatest ( with 3 cords )

Chet pretty much put Nashville on the map.
And Nashville, whether they acknowledge it or not, owes him a debt of gratitude!!
Name certainly rings a bell although not familiar with his music individually.
It would had been nice if you’re had pick up that flower pot.
