This book is one of THE Koala Books classics IMHO. I've been (occasionally) using the Ross Campbell Beyond Pentatonic Blues book/course lately and while I haven't made any progress at all in my Blues soloing [I'm lazy, undisciplined and probably talentless], I do find this Progressive Blues Guitar Solos volume to be something I keep coming back to regularly because I find that Mr. Gelling's solos dovetail quite nicely with the teachings within the Ross Campbell book ie landing on the Root or 3rd of either the I, IV or V chords when playing some tasty Blues lick(s)*.
*I am not Ross Campbell or even remotely affiliated with Ross Campbell! I'm just a very keen electric Blues guitar fan ☺️

An excellent book to learn to play the Blues from.

I would also equally recommend the Ross Campbell Beyond Pentatonic Blues course (which is alarmingly close in places to some of the stuff in this Progressive Blues Guitar Solos book!).

Nice work, sir! You nailed it.. how did you erase the original guitar track and put your guitar on the backing track?
