Operator Replacement Suggestions (ORS):
Hibiscus: Any Medic.
Lava: Gitano/Skyfire.
Steward: Any Caster.
Mousse: Astesia/Chen.
Defenders: Any Defender.
Perfumer: Any AOE Medic.
Fang: Any Vanguard (2 block).
Exusiai: Essential for this method.
Meteor: Recommended due to defense reduction.

Exu must lv 40, otherwise the FrostNova won't died. When my Exu is lv 37 FrostNova left a little bit more HP.

The true enemy is not Frostnova, but the ground ice's RNG. Done it on the 5th try, when the star is right and Applepie's luck is on my side.
The freezing debuff and the RNG ness of this chapter is out to get me

The SFX that plays when Frostnova resurrects made me shat my pants a little.
Thank you so much man, this took to much of my irl sanity. We had pretty much the same strat except I put the Vanguard first instead of exu and that made the damn difference
This is the best strategy for this level on RUclips. Thank you so much, It work perfectly during first try.

Which skill are you using?
I'm subbing E2L45 Schwarz for Exusiai. S3M3. It's pretty easy. Beginning of the map, drop Schwarz down. Kill with skill and retreat immediately. Hope the top right tile isn't frozen and replace her where Exusiai goes. Activate when she gets in range and throw a defender to stall for a bit of time.
Schwarz can even solo her (mine was just e2 40 s3m1 so i needed some help from project red). But if shes m3 then it shouldnt be an issue.
1:32 deploying exia a bit later would absolutely demolish FrostNova
how so? wouldn't it be better to deploy her faster?
@@falsehoodintensifies445 The skill triggered too early and wasted half of her skill duration. But it is still a good video showing how to handle non-ideal scenarios.
Got both silveash and exusiai (borrowed). I guess it is not the right time for me to finish this level 🤣

Jfc I wasted 13 practice drills and all I had to do was point Exu at her from the start.
Schwarz E2 did a really good job in this map.

For anyone wondering; the auto is stable. Ran it 10 times and no issues.
My Exusiai at E2 46 with skill3 rank7 and trust at 200% cannot take down Frostnova fast enough to prevent her from freezing some of the top right corner tiles before dying the first time. Any suggestions/explanations?
@@DetectiveRackham Try again. The tiles she freezes may be random, but I think it's consistent across auto replay attempts.
I did the same thing with Schwarz replacing her (Schwarz S3M3 is great btw) and cleared it on the second attempt.
Is it efficient to farm there?
Is cecylon (cmiiw) is good here? And which medic should replaced with her?

Yeah, Frostnova keeps freezing the square Cardigan is supposed to go on. Any tips?
It's RNG. The most ideal square is the one right in front of the stairs she emerges out of it.

If you have Archetto she can suffice for Exusiai if you have her high enough leveled- but it was tight for me with her at E2 L90 and S3/M3. Not so tight that it couldn't be done with her at a lower level but S3/M3 is absolutely needed.
How did frostnova die at the start? She always gets in that one tile move for me. E2 lvl 43 Exu.
You can use Gravel to keep her there for more time. My Exu has full trust and 4 potential.

I think i got lucky with the frozen tiles for this node. Anyways I used tag team Schwarz X ApplePie to deal with Frostnova. RIP White Bunny
What is the recommended level that Exusiai should be?
If she’s not M3, chances are she won’t kill Frostnova in time. My lv 25 M1 Exusai can’t kill her and i needed Skadi to do this strat.

She was the only thing available for me to use at the time.
I swear everyone elses Exusiai is on steroids. Mine just weakly slaps bullets at the enemy without using a gun and they never die...
I don't have Exusiai, but can I replacing her with GreyThroat?
GT would have to be way higher in levels to make up for the damage. You need to delay with Fast-Redeploy for sure.
@@Eckogen so, i need to ask, does having high DPS sniper in 6-16 is a must? Because my GreyThroat are at E1 Lvl 60 with skill Level 7 at the moment, i might E2 her if that is the case
I actually have Exusiai, just not at E2 (with nowhere near enough resources to get her up to there anytime soon) so I have to rely on my friend’s M3 E2 Exu. It works... until my Perfumer gets immediately one-shot when FrostNova resurrects and throws a wrench in the whole works. I don’t understand why mine keeps dying in one hit when yours survives with around half HP when they’re the same level. Maybe it could be that mine’s not yet at max potential/trust but it’s frustrating as all hell since I have to keep refreshing to find the one support Exusiai that works, and then waiting for my refreshes to come back once I use them all and still haven’t found her.
Trust does give HP, so that does help a bit. Do you have a better AOE Medic?
@@Eckogen Nope, Perfumer's the only one that I have atm. Probably just need to grind up my operator's trust before I attempt it again.

At time time of writing this I was a new player and her event just dropped, so you could use her as a replacement for Exu.

@@Eckogen I don't have SA either sadly. But I was able to clear this stage with a support Exu. I'm not too worried about farming this stage in particular for devices.

Nah, don't put yourself down.
My Apple pie wasn't able to kill FrostNova before she moved out of range (E2S3M1) so I threw down Meteor to give her a hand for the first kill. Also used Hellagur instead of Mousse as neither she, Chen or Astesia are levelled. Your Excusai has a DP reduction which is probably the difference in kill speed.
Could be a trust thing as well, as my Exu is very high in trust. I'm glad you got it to work though.
It's with these guides that you realize just how much some operators can break the game, it's a bit of a bummer not gonna lie. I love Exusiai (god bless if I manage to pull her someday) but holy hell she really trivializes this level to the point of not even being a challenge anymore. I barely cleared 6-16 for the first time today with my clunky squads and I was curious as to how other people could clear it better, maybe I shouldn't have sought the truth after all.
Exusia is considered to be the big 4, expect something great in her. She could demolish all bosses through chapter 1-6 no problem. She does falls of a bit since she has low attack while the enemy got more defense as the chapter goes. 6 star are strong, but they aren’t needed to clear the game. And you actually did really great finishing the stage without Exusia/Schawrz Chesse, it’s difficult to do so.
As someone with both SilverAsh and Exusiai, it's entirely in how you use those 6*s. My dumb ass was struggling super hard to deal with FrostNova's freezes and instakills even with them.

It's the timing of her deployment. Her S3 needs to be up while FN is still in range. You can use an operator to delay if needed. For example, Gravel.
So much fucking RNG to this level it's insane. I've played this 30 times and she has always frozen the tile in front of her.

Well that helps but i have a trouble with the snow spiders i dont have lapplad the 6 star i have is silverash, magallan, schwartz and saria
seto XD schwarz is another option if you don’t have exusiai
seto XD bring fast-redeploy units or some ops that you can sacrifice. Like if you have Wai-fu, she’s good in chapter 6, no need high level. Magallan could help using her drones, by either slowing them or S3.
