I feel as though I have learned more about Laphroaig from Emma and Brianna than I ever did from Munchkin Farmer Daniel and Hipster Rex. Also seeing Brianna's expressions when tasting the 2 whiskeys was priceless.

This is a great episode! For a moment I thought they were going to do just a silly imitation of Daniel and Rex but it was so much better. I loved the knowledge that Emma brings to the table and looove the imagination of Brianna for turning tasting notes into full images like pirate ships, etc. You should make them regular reviewers together like this or in combination with Daniel or Rex. Well done!

If it were me I'd have them both up! Lagavulin for me is the quintessential thick smoke Islay whereas the Laphroaig rivals Springbank for the briney iodine, more medicinal malt.

I really like Emma. She's very smart and knowledgeable, she loves Islay whisky, and she's easy on the eyes, too. Any time you can get her on the channel just nerding out about whisky I am there.
This has major old school Whisky Vault vibes when Rex was still learning about different whiskies. Obviously it's cool having two peoples who I understands preference to relate to when it comes to whisky reviews, but it was fun having someone learning about whisky, and this really brings that vibe back. Okay everyone’s talking about the great host change up, but seriously! Red Breast 12 yr Cast Strength!!!! The best ever and super pissed I can’t get it in BC. I had a friend buy 2 bottles in Toronto and then Covid 🙄. Been waiting over a year. Can’t ship alcohol in Canada. F’n Canada keep’n me from my RB! Good job ladies!

Loving the enthusiasm and excitement of Emma and Brianna. Their nosing and taste descriptions are wonderful perspectives on whiskeys people might think that are old hat or familiar. Hope to see more of them exploring expressions of whiskeys in the future. And yes, The Laphroaig belongs on the wall.

My two favorite whiskies presented by my two favorite personalities, fantastic. Is it weird that I find Redbreast and Laphroaig to be very similar? To me, Redbreast is like an unpeated Laphroaig with just a dash of butter. Love them both.
