So you’re a trainer? I’ve been training for 30 yrs, what he is doing is showing the phycological training from the dog’s understanding, not for humans. You can’t make a dog understand you until you understand the dog. 🥰

Thank you for the owner who is willing to rescue a dog on death row and willing to work ! That says a lot about you as a person . And of course thanks to DD as always to show owner to the right path and to teach owner how to work with their dog. 🐶

I have never had an agressive dog but if I did I would be reaching out to Dog Daddy for help. Same... couldn't believe what I was reading & clicked to watch to see if it was true.. few minutes in a relised he posted the video but we all know once you start watching you can't stop watching till the end... Very clever man ❤
The more I watch these videos and I see a dog go from super aggressive to calm and taking directions in under 5 minutes, the more I'm convince most animals are only a reflection of their owner and 99% of owners don't have a clue what they are doing or are actively making things worse and more confusing for the dogs so they lash out, but as soon as Dog Daddy takes the leash they can feel the difference in presence/demeanor and chill out.
I agree with you. The funny thing is how often he gets accused of cruel methods. He has more empathy towards animals then I have ever seen from the reward based trainers. I'm shocked so many reqard trainers will recommend euthanasia instead of saying "well I can't help you, but there's this guy I've heard of....."
You are an absolute angel living among us. Your attitude is infectious. Been a crazy cat lady my 55 years now, never had a dog...but your videos make me build up with such emotion, I'm always crying happy tears mid way thru!!! Never forget how incredibly awesome you are!!😁🥰🩵🇨🇦
Cat people are just dog people who haven’t owned a dog yet. Trust me, I know this from experience! Was crazy about cats my entire childhood and teen years. My room even had kitten wallpaper. Then I got my first dog at age 19 and it completely changed me. There’s no love like that from a dog. You just can’t love a cat like you can a dog bc dogs give unconditional love and will love you even if you abuse them. A cat’s love, if they even give it, is very much conditional.. so you don’t develop as deep a love for them like you do with dogs.

@@stancexpunks some cats break the unconditional rule.I had a female for 23 yrs she was always there for me. I have only 9 cats now and 6 dogs all rescues and one of the collies loves cats they snuggle with her!

I have a reactive dog and I am soooo thankful to have found these videos. I’ve searched high and low for a solution and proper help / training and it just doesn’t exist where I live. My husband found this channel and shared with me and we are learning together now what to do to help our dog and remove this tremendous stress from our lives. Our dog is half Chihuahua and half Dachshund. Her is absolutely amazing but very reactive around new people and new dogs.

I love it when some try to say that he doesn't know how to train animals. I have used his information and trained my dog at home. I'm also helping the girls next to me, with the two puppies they have. He has great advice on how to get your dog to pay attention to you. 😊

Great episode DD. Just my observation, but, I think many owners could use a command cheat sheet to help remind them of the correct commands and prevent more confusion from their dogs. Keep up the good work.

Good to see you! I had two pitbulls for 17 yrs. It was 45yrs ago, before they all got in trouble! But I was loving AND firm, and they grew up learning to have good manners, were never aggressive to people. But I wish you’d been around to teach me how to help them be trustworthy around other dogs…cuz they did pull at some of them. They were otherwise so wonderful, never got in a fight & lived a happy 17yrs. You’re the best! Hope you’re holding on to yr sobriety & feeling good. Love to you from Cali.💕

Hello Augusto & Shalom from Israel. My name is Arye & I'm a dog trainer for 30 years now. I'v dealt with big powerful dogs like you do. I'v been following you for a while now. I appreciate what you do & admire your courage. I have a question for you. From bad experience, I never trust the owner's equipment end how they put it on. For example, I always ask the owners to practically lift their dog by the muzzle to see that it doesn't come off. I don't see you do such things. How do you keep yourself safe?

Excellent. You absolutely know what youre doing, because of your hard work, experience, and the gifts you have for understanding these dogs and their owners. IGNORE the noise. I learn so much from you!
A harness is not what you want to use with a aggressive dog,a prong collar is what you want to use,it does not hurt unless they pull you and after a while they learn not to pull.
This is a case by case detail. My dogs were reactive under I got a chest harness. 20 bucks. Works like a normal harness. Only difference is it is anchored at the chest, so his pulling means getting rotated to face me instead of having all the leverage of their back legs and spine. They simply can't lunge at anything. It untrained the problem by itself, just by letting him make that mistake.
Why when someone is very successful others try to drag them down. This man is training to show the phycological training from the dog’s understanding, not the humans. We need the training more than they do! These are dogs that would have been destroyed!

I have so much sympathy and respect for the dog owners who truly love their dogs and want to help them solve their problems. Dog Daddy's clients work hard to understand how their dogs think and feel, to understand what false reactions the dogs have learned. Dog Daddy's students strive to stop incorrect reactions (from dog & owner) and to train new, constructive social behavior. This is true love for animals, for God's creation.

I'm glad there are still trainers/communicators who don't try to humanise dogs. It's such a shame that most positive trainers care more about their own philosophy rather than trying to make the dogs succeed in our complicated conditional human world.
The dogs that DD have helped would have been suggested to be put down by positive trainers who think they can act as if they are god, deciding which dog lives and which dog has to go.
Most of the time, imho, the dogs turned out the way thy are is either because owners use the tools incorrectly, or owners never discipline them, showing what is acceptable and what is not. But in the end, all blames were put on real trainers that knows how to speak dogs.
